The customer service is absolutely abysmal. I ordered a product online (13/06/2026) for delivery and the order was partially supplied and the remaining product never arriving. I phoned their customer service and spoke to 5 different people over the following 10 days trying to find out what was happening with my order to find out the product was damaged on arrival at their warehouse and it could be 2 weeks before replacements could be sourced.I suggested an alternative product could be supplied and this was agreed to but, the delivery was scheduled and cancelled and rescheduled and no one would ring and advise of the delay even when they promised to supply updates. Product still hasn't arrived so I cancelled the order. The service and follow up is the WORST I've ever experienced.

Part 2;
After discussing this issue with Trade Depot, we agreed to reorder the product with an assurance that it would be delivered urgently. The product was reordered on the 25th June at 1230pm, and the items were not picked from stock until late Friday afternoon after I emailed to see if there was an issue with the stock again. The original order was to be delivered on Saturday, but now the reordered product was going to be delivered by Tuesday at the latest. You will see below that the Trade Depot has assured me that the product would be delivered Tuesday 30/06/2026. Guess what? It's 1745pm, and still no product, no email update and no text or phone call to advise me of any delay/issue......... 21 days have gone by since I placed my order am I'm still waiting to receive my order, and no one in customer service has the decency to keep me informed.

Trade Depot is my go-to place for building, renovation, and white goods. You will not regret visiting them

Living in the country buying bigger items means a 6 hour return trip in order to get our Reno items.
Trade depo have taken the hassle out of bigger purchases with their to the door deliveries.
Great prices and to the door deliveries what more could you ask for.

Would not recommend, reasonable service until I paid then it was one disaster after another. Lots of people making promises with no action, I finally got my delivery and they had forgotten my microwave and we live out of a main town. The merry go around started again. I would NOT use them again. Avoid not worth the saving in the stress

The customer service is good
The range of goods is wide, and the choice of brands is excellent

Me and my friend ordered 2 washing machines,2 fridges,2freezers and 2 dryers from the trade depot in to same address and they delivered our items in multiple days and it was taken about a month and they delivered everything without a fridge.Then I tried to contact them over the phone and no one response to phone.So that I visited trade depot Christchurch and asked about the fridge and at that time they said they already delivered both fridges. Then when I said I didn’t get a fridge and It’s needed to deliver one more fridge and at that time they said they will contact their dispatch team and let me know.
But next day when I call them they said they definitely delivered the fridge and they got photo evidence as-well. When I checked the photo evidences it was the same fridge but 2 photos from different angles.then I explained all the similarities in the fridge in both photos,then they agreed with me and gave the fridge for me.
So they are not working with a responsibility and customer service is really bad. And they played someone’s dignity and they considered me as a thief because of their fault.I’m really disappointed about their service and this is the bad service I ever had.

Trade Depot had the freezer I needed at a great price. The guarantee/warranty is no different than the "high end" brands at a fraction of the price.

Easy to order online. The price of the front loader washing machine was excellent - very much better than Noel Leeming or Harvey Norman for a similar machine. It was delivered to my door at no extra cost and within 1 week.

Shockingly bad service over two separate orders.
The tracking information supplied is non existent or blatantly wrong. On the first order a $350 part was damaged, a $50 refund was offered. After two weeks with no updates on the second order, I started chasing things I found my purchase hasn't even been dispatched. Promises about delivery were made, promises were broken. Refund requests have been ignored.
It has been over a month since I made my purchase and I have only got traction from their staff by threatening legal action under the consumer guarantee act.
I still don't have my purchase or a refund though.
