I had an absolutely amazing experience! I contacted them to help arrange multiple train tickets for a two-weeks trip to China, 9 tickets in total across different routes. They managed to secure all of them. Additionally, they were extremely proactive, always coming back quickly with great alternative routes and schedules so I never had to worry about missing out. Used them over decade for train tickets in China. Natural for me to book with them.

It was nice to have our train tickets appear in our email and not have to worry about it. I think the China Rail system can be stressful since you don't know if you get your tickets or not until 2 weeks before. Having booked through this company meant we were always given many alternative options if trains were sold out. We booked trains for a 40 day trip through them and it was perfect.

I read briefly the previous review posts. I agree with all positive ones. Yes, the agent (for my case, her name is: Christina Zhao) and the rest of the team have made efficient efforts to make bookings available in a very timely manner; more importantly, they made updates and refund available without hassle. Needed to get High Speed Train Ticket on short (<1 week) notice. Also had to change the date for travel 2 times within a 24 hour timeframe. Each time, the agent (Maria) was able to get me a ticket that meet my timing requirements for departure and arrival. Given the short timeframe, the task was probably not an easy one. I am glad that Travel China Guide hires people like her - she made what would have been a miserable experience for me very easy and painless.

I also liked that they had an easy-to-use website where I could see the options for where trains departed from, where they arrived into different stations in Shanghai, and whether they were High Speed or not. This made initial planning much easier.

The ability to pay the cost difference using an on-line site was also valuable to me. It was easy to access and make the payment.

I will definitely be using them again in the future as I travel through China.

this company has exaggerated commissions, furthermore for each reservation there are problems, both with trains (where their website can deceive in the selection of the route), up to the entrances of palaces, museums, parks, where after having booked they tell you that something is no longer available, it is a company that takes advantage of tourists, it tries in every way to defraud tourists, if you have problems with train tickets they will try to sell you other tickets in order to earn more, shameful company, it deserves to go bankrupt and pay!!!!

A5 star rating for my way in advanced booking of trains and places of attraction with Travel China Guide. When train tickets are released, and preferred tickets are over-subscribed, Cissy, the travel consultant would implement my 2nd preference almostly instantly and with such efficiency. In addition, having to deal with only 1 person certainly helps with issues arising. Excellent service that is truly beyond my expectation. Thank you.

The one-day tour to Mount Hua Shan, organized by Lilian and led by Waldner, was perfectly planned and executed. All wishes were fulfilled. I’d be happy to join again another time.

Successfully booked train tickets for Guilin->Zhangjiajie and Hangzhou->Shanghai. Company could not reserve 1st class train ticket for Guilin trip due to limited availability but communicated timely and helped to reserve 2nd class tickets. Refund for the difference was provided timely.

I booked the Golden Triangle & Yangtze tour which I took for the first couple of weeks of this month. From the moment I landed in Beijing to leaving from Shanghai, everything was meticulously planned and ran like clockwork. It was a brilliant and fascinating couple of weeks, the guides spoke perfect English and were very informative, and the organization from Wendy Lee from start to finish was perfect.

Excellent. Train tickets booked for me direct and travelled no problem. Tour in Beijing all arranged to plan and was to a very high standard. Beijing was extremely busy over labour day weekend so bear that in mind when planning travel dates as getting round the city was slow progress in the car!
