Trend Micro kept sending me renewal notices for the security that they provided to me. Always with the standard $50 off deal. Finally I signed back up again. I logged into there main website to try to download the program and was surprised to see the same program that I had just purchased for $30 cheaper. So a new customer gets a better deal than an exiting customer. Its a sad day when companies don't reward loyalty. Good luck with your business model into the future guys.

I subscribed and paid for Trend's VPN service for a year. When it was due for annual renewal the subscription fee was taken but the service was terminated. They have taken a years fee and refuse to assist in getting it running again after hours of trying and chat(bot?) contact. They have committed theft - pure and simple.

I canceled my subscription within 4 hours. An email stated that I would get a refund within 7 days. Money was never refunded. Credit dispute was no help. Called them and was on hold for three hours. Hung up. Steer clear of these crooks. They're liars, thieves and have no customer service.

I have had Trend Micro for 10 yrs. now and have not had any issues with them till now. My acc. had autopay they renewed my security for my system, but they sold it to me at the market price of $162.85, I can get the same coverage from them for $54.95 (same system) the tell me it the way the system is set up. This to me is a slap in the face I have been with them for 10 yrs. anyone that has had them for some time should be treated as a preferred customer. They don't have anyone to speak directly to, so you communicate via chat. Thy had no suggestion for a solution. They are a rip off. For that price i should get 3 yr subscription.

Awful company and a total lack of respect for the Customer. No after sales service at all. Two tickets raised which they simply do not follow up.

While I had an active account, Trend Micro seemed fine but I was planning on traveling overseas so I didn't renew my subscription, planning on doing it when I returned. Very shortly after my subscription lapsed, my computer started to function very slowly. I didn't know what it was at first but thought it suspicious that it happened right after the expiration of Trend so I uninstalled Tend completely and guess what, my computer returned to normal operation. They planted a sub-routine in the Trend Micro software to signifigantly slow your computer if your subscription lapses. Also, their software was always saying that my subscription could protect multiple devices so I also installed it on my phone early on. After the whole slow my computer down because my subscription lapst thing, I also uninstalled Trend Micro from my phone. Problem is that even after completely uninstalling Trend Micro from my phone, I still get Trend Micro ad pop ups that I can't close easily, meaning that they also installed adware on my phone when I installed Trend on it. Dirty tricks not indicative of a reputable company. I don't care how good their software is, I will NEVER use Trend Micro again and would never recommend it to anyone else either.

Do not use this it is absolutely awful. I have been using the Chrome extension and it was meant to warn me if a site was a scam or not and it did nothing so I thought ok, then into the new year the parcel still hadn't come and I found out it was a scam. They clearly don't care about people otherwise they would have alerted me to the fact that the website was a scam.

this company are thieves - cancel your auto renewal - they ignore it. Complain and they say sorry we will refund then they debit anyway. When you complain again they just issue another direct debit. They then say it is Digital River's issue

This software is awesome. It was included with my HP ENVY 360 laptop earlier this year. Initially, I thought nothing of it...but it is like my laptop's 24/7 bodyguard. It syncs and scans independently and takes just a couple of minutes so I can resume whatever I'm doing. A great laptop deserves the best protection and Trend Micro is the way to go.

Downloaded their Antivirus Software for my elderly MacBook. Run the installer and once finished launched the application and was told the software cannot be run inside my OS version. Further research exposed that there is currently no Antivirus Software available for my MacBook from Micro Trend. I attempted to cancel my order and apply for refund on their website and via their UK subsidiary Digital River UK, without success. Avoid, avoid, avoid!

I'm not a computer geek, I bought trend micro security from Harvey Norman with my new laptop. I don't know how reliable the program is, but I do know how frustratingly annoying it is. It continually interrupts me while I am on my laptop with 'helpful' suggestions, brags about its activities and its protections. I just wanted a program that would work in the background, not take over.

awful company, my site is just personal blog writing lifestyle experiences and they listed it as a scam site, which make me shocks.

i have used Trend Micro for the past 5 years and have just renewed again for another 3 years
it keeps my computers safe and advises me on any scams on fake emails etc--
plus you can get protection for up to 3 computers at no extra cost -- it is the best i have ever used

Awful, I have received 3x emails with other peoples personal details from this company. I have tried to contact them, but everything is automated, so I am just going to have to notify the ICO. But I am very concerned about what may have happened to my personal data. I couldn't actually even use the product as my windows security blocked it. Awful stay away!!

After multiple anti virus, finally one that just does what it says on the tin! Not bombarded with pop uos/emails saying I need to upgrade to this or that which I already thought I'd paid for. Special criticism here to #Norton.com...give us more money or you'll be hacked etc. Greatvalue cease to set up/use or just install and forget If I could give 6 stars I would.

On Friday 7th October 2022 I bought Trend Micro Device Security Basic, 2 Device 12 mth for $69 so I can protect my iMac from malware, viruses, ransomware, and other threats, secure online banking and shopping. It also guards my Mac against identity theft.

purchased trend micro security pro at store and wanted a refund as we had an existing lic.

Made request for refund online on the 27 March and corrresponded almost daily, providing receipt etc.
They kept coming back asking for info that had been provided, Finally 10 april 2023 they asked for my bank details in for the refund .
Then on 14 April 2023 they wrote to inform that I should contact the store for a refund.
They either practice delays tactics or have very incompetent support staff asking for same info again & again.
Do not trust their 30 day no question asked refund policy. Just shows the type of company that you are dealing with. False advertising!

The 1st protection (after Nobton, macafuc, )I've installed that doesn't bombard me with emails and pop ups trying to scare me into buying MORE extensions that I thought were part of the deal.
They do what they say on the tin.
Nobton etc are always trying to get more money from you when you only need Trend micro.

This is the worst piece of software I have ever used. It flags safe programs as harmful, creates large undeletable junk files that at times take up 12 gigabyte and flat out stopped working before the expiration date DO NOT USE.
