Delivery and purchase was great. Item is a bit tricky to put together until you work out a system. All holes in racking had to be eased open/ widened with a tool to allow side bars to fit in properly. Far too tight without making them bigger. But now the shelves are built they are very sturdy. Not for someone who struggles with putting stuff together and make sure you have a flat headed screwdriver or multitool available !

The racking looks good once it's complete and in place. Holding 200kg per shelf looks very doubtful though. Putting it together was a complete pain. After the first one it wasn't as bad but whilst I was putting the first one together I was nearly ready to put it in the bin. The instruction diagrams are not good, with drawings of parts that look nothing like the actual part. I'm not sure if I would buy it again

I’d not heard of this company before, but I checked the reviews, and ordered. The shelves were dispatched quickly, And I set to work building them. They shelves, were sturdy, easy to assemble, and look great. Top Company!

Delivered promptly and left in a safe place even though we were not in when the order was delivered.
Anoyingly there were no instructions enclosed. Fortunately I had previousely erected a similar product and was able to put the units in this order together.

Tried to order some storage boxes as they sent me an email offer of free delivery. It would not accept the vode. I went back and checked that email was current and order was over £99. Yes and yes.
Tried to call them at 14:52 on Friday and it said messages not accepted as inbox is full and cut me off.
I will give 2 stars as I have previously done business with them and they were ok.

I took advantage of Tuffermans disount deal on 3 Storalex multi function boltless shelving. ( 3 bays packed in 2 boxes) What a mistake! The assembly information is very poor and the construction process awkward, requiring at least two people carry it out, and at times a third set of hands. Their USP of no nuts, no bolts, just tap together is misleading almost to the point of being duplicitous.
The most frustrating aspect emerged when attempting to insert connectors into uprights to construct the upper shelving, none of the connecting components married up. In all cases the alignment of connectors to uprights was wildly out by 1/4 of an inch.!
JUST TAP TOGETHER rendered impossible.
What I believed I was purchasing, was 3 x 5 bay shelves, Now the absolute best I can get, subject to no more engineering misalignments, are work benches. This cuts in half the storage I planned in the floor space available.
I feel conned and might have just gone into my garden and set fire to £ 100 + .
I would NOT recommend this product and provide this review as forewarning to others considering purchase.

Goods not unpacked yet- temperature too high - but delivery was done on time and efficiently.

Fast delivery on racking to sort out a disorganised garage. Shopped around but my stepson recommended Tufferman and their prices seemed good. Went for the metal shelf type in case of damp and they are just the job. Fixed to the wall for added secureness. The Customer service was amazing as a couple of bits were distorted in transit so they were very helpful. Definitely recommend.

Excellent product. Really sturdy and excellent quality. Would have given 5* if all 4 boxes had been delivered at the same time as requested. Did get the refund for the express delivery? Customer service excellent too.

Excellent product, easy to assemble (get the rubber mallet for a fiver), and very sturdy and great looking. Very happy with my new racking in garage!

I have filled my double garage with Tufferman shelves and since bought 2 workbenches - they are amazingly strong and good value for the money. Very good customer service received in dealing with a few queries.

I ordered three shelving units. Two were delivered, with the third arriving separately two or three days later, after chasing. This box had clearly been opened and stored god knows where because the contents were covered in dust and the long panels were either missing or bent. This unit was replaced but again the box had been opened and re-taped and as a result two of the feet had fallen out. I was only able to complete the assembly using feet from the previously delivered unit.

I ordered two VRS garage shelving units and was pleased with both the ordering process and delivery.

The only minor issue I encountered was during assembly. At times, the components felt a little flimsy and did not always slot easily into place, which made putting the shelves together slightly more difficult than expected.

That said, I have now had the shelving for around 10 months, and it has performed very well. The units are sturdy, reliable, and have held up well over time.

Following a telephone call to Tufferman to check cut off time for next day delivery. I was told 15:00 but after placing my order they called to say it was too late for next day delivery..... Even though I had taken the trouble to call as there was some confliction on the website for Next Day Delivery cut off.
So, two days later half my order arrived. I called Tufferman who said this often happens when the courier (DX) have too many parcels. I was offered full refund of next day delivery charge. At such a high cost the decision was not taken lightly but wanted my wife to use the product ASAP....
The same person said they would call me the following morning to onfirm the third and missing parcel would arrive that day. And to her word, she called and confirmed it would be delivered. It was delivered, box battered and open in numerous places.
All items were thankfully contained in the split open box.
Having now received order I proceeded to build up the shelving. I have always used BigDug in the past and the quality of their product has enabled me to take apart and rebuild about six times.
This tufferman shelving was for a pantry. I had hoped for the same level of quality in the shelving as previously experienced. Sadly this shelving can not be described as quality. Most shelf brackets had arrived bent at the ends. If you have used this type of shelving you will know that the ends are significant for putting together. Especially when new and the paint is still thick, there is no room for error.
With 75% of the brackets bent, every shelf was like using cardboard strength not metal.
I very rarely write negative feedback but always leave good feedback where applicable. Sadly, I feel compelled that, if Tufferman are going to ask me to leave feedback in an email I received, they have asked me to feedback accordingly.
I also do not want other people encountering the shockingly poor delivery service and in turn trying to create a shelving system the can be proud of and use as designed.

So, please note, this genuine feedback has been requested and I wanted to ensure they received what they had asked for.
Lesson Learnt. Stay with the quality provider you know and trust....

I would love to leave a review but two days later after having paid for next day delivery I still await any product !!

Excellent product,fitted together really well.
Rubber mallet highly recommended to make the construction even easier. Managed on my own but ideally 2 sets of hands would be best.
Carrier was very good too. Would definitely buy from Tufferman again.
