This is a fraud cover
This is a fraud cover. I specifically asked for cover for my steam oven and I was told yes I can get it covered six months of paying premium and I have problem with my steam oven I been told they don’t cover it. It was fine to take my money but when it came to provide service it all convenient for them to put hands up. When I asked that they should go n listen to my recorded conversation (which they should have) that also conveniently not available. I would not waste my money on them. Wish I had read reviews befor I handed money over.

Last year i received 2 policies with different cust. no. on 16/04/2020 & 27/03/2020 from Cover Utilities address 18A Bloomsbury Place Brighton BN2 1DA I had never requested any such policies. &I subsequently rec 2 different direct debit requests from Interbacs. After several attempted calls to Cover Utilities I finally got thro & said i never requested/wanted these policies & they said that they have now cancelled these policies. Contacted Interbacs who were very helpful & cancelled the DDs. Today i had a call from CoverUtilities saying they could offer a lower renewal premium. (on a policy i cancelled last year which i never had} the man whocalled me then says that if i want to cancel the policy (which i never had} that they will be charging me over 300£. Tried calling Cover Utilities to see what was happening but getting the run around with them saying that they have to get somebody else to call me back. {still waiting for this call} I would not trust or even consider doing business with this company if they really exsist and i would recomend that everybode stays well clear off these people
Just found 3 ‘policies’ my parents…
Just found 3 ‘policies’ my parents (90/91yrs old) have taken out with this company COVER UTILITY TEAM costing over £600. They’d called him and said he already had policies and it would cost him more not to renew. How do these folk sleep at night conning old people out of their hard earned money. Tried to call them and not answering their phones. I live over 250 miles away and have talked to him about this sort of thing last year when I found a load of paperwork from other companies and I thought I had got through to my dad about no doing anything like this but these folk are so plausible. Evil people
My grandad was called asking if he…
My grandad was called asking if he wanted to continue his yearly subscription to the insurance to which he declined as he didn’t need it anymore. He is a 76 year old man who struggles to remember most things and recently lost his wife making him vulnerable. I deal with all his current affairs as he doesn’t have the capability to do so. He went to the bank a few weeks back to discover a payment had came out for a full year of insurance. He didn’t want this or require it anymore. We have since contacted the company who have had 0 cooperation in trying to help all we want is his money returned and the subscription cancelled. Shame of you taking advantage of a vulnerable elderly man

Feeling it was a scam!!!
I have read previous messages and am so pleased to have my suspicions clarified. February I had a telephone call saying I hadn’t paid cover for my boiler. I explained that I had paid £198 for 3 years cover for my washing machine and Fridge Freezer and I have an authorised Repair Plan. I was told it did not cover my boil. I told them I do not have a boiler as we live in a Retirement Village. He was very aggressive and dominant so I put the phone down. He rang again today and we went through it all again. He named my Washer and my Frigde/Freezer. I told him again re the boiler and he became very aggressive wouldn’t stop talking actually shouting, so I tried to shout louder and said ‘I do not speak over people’. And put the phone down. I phoned the number on my Repair and Maintenance Plan but told line is busy try again later. Decided to come on the internet only to find I am not the only one to experience this. Now I wonder if the policy I have for Plan Number LB1802JCT113 from 18 Jan 2021 to Jan 2024 is real. I was told it had been reduced as I had made no claims.

This company have been phoning my 84 year old mother. Trying to make her pay £180 over the phone for cover she doesn’t need. Claim 24 hour call out but you cannot even call them. Further investigation Found out you do not even get cover, just introduction to traders.
They are scammers
Targeted elderly dementia sufferer
They sold unnecessary cover to my elderly vulnerable mother with dementia over the phone. They took two lots of £195 out of her account in one month. They have probably taken hundreds from her over the years. Because of this, I had to take her independence away by taking her card off her to stop her getting scammed. Cover was for appliances she didn't even have.
Liars & Fraudsters…
This is a very aggressive and dishonest company. I am in my eighties and was contacted out of the blue concerning my Ceiling Repair & Maintenance Plan.
I replied that I had no such plan , to which they said I had taken out a 5 year cover plan and quoted my credit card number and a password, both of which I recognised. They said that the only reason they were calling was that as I hadn't made a claim they were offering me a discount on the remaining years.
I reiterated that I had no knowledge or paperwork to support their statement., not to worry they would send outa copy of the agreement and I said I would consider it when I saw those documents but in the meantime I did not want the supposed cover .
Next thing was a charge of £195 on my credit card and when the documents arrived in the post it related quite clearly to a brand new cover plan for 3 years.
Attempt to cancel under the 14 day cooling off period
were met by a recording message saying the telephone number was not accepting calls at the moment and to try later. Later got the same result.
Don't touch this company with a barge pole.
Scammers - avoid at all costs
Conned my vulnerable, elderly mother today. Interesting another reviewer mentions Digital Team as they too have repeatedly scammed her in the past. Trading Standards put a stop to it.
This is why I unplug my landline and will be changing my mother's number. There must be a list circulating with details of vulnerable people on.
Exploiting the elderly
Again as detailed in almost every review this company telephoned my elderly father in law to try and get him to pay £250 boiler cover when he has no such policy. They said that they 'knew' he had recently moved from NPower to EON and that the first four numbers of his card were 4659 (all visa debit cards start the same)
Disgusting that they should be allowed to be a registered company.
Dreadful underhand Company
This firm cold called my dementia suffering uncle and took £200 from him for ceiling cover! They are crooks and the lowest of the low.

UTILITY COVER LIMITED POOLE DORSET and HOVE EAST SUSSEX = DO NOT TRUST AS ONE HAS WAITED MONTHS FOR THEM TO REPLY AND WAITING.
Had taken about policy with this so called company/firm!! but they do not answer their mobile phone recorded message(s) only, have emailed them loads of time yet to no avail, this was done through their website also my private email, again to no avail.
Also they are shown as registered on Government COMPANIES HOUSE site ,and at address (office) in GEMINI HOUSE. 136 - 140 OLD SHOREHAM ROAD, HOVE. EAST SUSSEX BN43 7BD, they ALSO do not answer phone calls.
They are a rip off or/also scamming company.
DO NOT PURCHASE FOR THIS COMPANY.
These scammers tried to get £200 out of…
These scammers tried to get £200 out of my 78 year old dad. They told him he had his roof insured with them but no such insurance exists. Absolute scumbags.
These people rang my 88 year old dad…
These people rang my 88 year old dad last week telling him he had taken an insurance policy out with them in 2017 for his 20 year old tv and payment of £299 was over due. Dad said he had never taken it out and then hung up.
They rang back and said he could cancel the policy but it would cost £84.99. They had all his details apart from upto date card details, in a panic he gave the rest of his details to him.
Fortunately the bank repaid his £84.99 and cancelled his card as there was also another pending transaction for the same amount. The scum bags have since phoned dad again wanting to know why he had cancelled their money, dad replied with" you are a scam and his daughter rang the phone number which do not exist" they then hung up. They have since sent him a letter which looks very legitimate. Time to report them I think.
Total scammers
I have just found out these buggers have been scamming my 92 yrs old dad for ages. he has been paying not 1 but 3 separate policies for insurance cover on an old television and other electrical appliances. I cancelled the direct debits, as he has been taken into a care home and the house is having to be sold for the fees, they had the cheek to phone to ask why i had stopped the payments. My dad has dementia so he was easy prey for this mob.
Totally unscrupulous lowlife and should…
Totally unscrupulous lowlife and should all be locked up. Have scammed my 90 year old mother by bullying her over the phone and confusing her with so much guff, very persistent, and sound very threatening with dire consequences of not going along with them. She has been conned out of several hundred pounds eg for white goods insurance for items that have less value than the premium asked for, and most recently for radiator and boiler protection in a house that has no radiators or central heating. Utter scumbags. Most worryingly though, they did persuade her to read out her bank card details and so they then took the amounts. Stole them is a more accurate word. Bank has been informed and her card changed and some of the cash has been recovered, but it has caused her so much angst and taken a lot of my time to resolve. AVOID. IGNORE. REPORT.
Prey on elderly and vulnerable
Prey on elderly and vulnerable, selling worthless policies often many times over for the same and different items. The 'company' also appears under different names, using the same techniques and sharing data in violation of GDPR. Director listed as Tomus Patrick Arif, who is also director of Digital team UK.
Total scammers.
I have had 2 calls from this so called company. One yesterday and another this morning. They're total scammers. They had my name and address and claimed to have my Visa debit details which they didn't. They told me I had taken a policy out with them in 2018 for £99 a year for 5 years and as I had made no claims I was entitled to 40% discount for the next 3 years. He was very persistent and as I wasn't busy I kept him talking so he could dig a hole for himself. I can understand how some people can be fooled into believing some of the total lies he was coming out with. I am 70 and I think they somehow have access to some data base with people's names, addresses, phone numbers and ages. He picked the wrong one. He rang up again this morning. I told him to look up his company on TrustPilot and talked over him loudly so he ended up putting the phone down on me. I am going to report them as I think they are preying on the elderly and need to be stopped. I have since reported them to Action Fraud and have given them all the information I can. I suggest you do the same if you've had these calls as the more they get, the more evidence they will have to close them down, or take them to court.
