This is the second car I’ve purchased from V12 Sports and Classics Wolverhampton. The process was clear and straightforward, and Sarda was very helpful on both occasions.

Purchased a Tiguan and also took out the warranty. At time of purchase I was told that you can choose your own repairer if they are a VAT registered garage. A week after purchase the car has a fault with travel assist. I called the warranty people to be given a garage in another county a significant distance away from me. I was told I had to take the car there for diagnostics, pay for it and then take it back at a later date for repair if it was covered by the warranty. I explained I was disabled and due to the distance would prefer a local garage. You have to take it to a garage with such a ridiculously low hoirly rate that it's nigh on impossible to find one. They were not interested in my disability so I ended up paying for the repairs out of my own pocket and am currently 2k worse off. Avoid the garage.

Absolute farce - arrived to what can only be described as a house full of headless chickens, absolutely no organisation just complete pandemonium. No one knew what they were doing, I waited close to two hours for a test drive, I was originally speaking to someone, but they said I should talk to someone else?! By the time I was eventually spoken to, the car I wanted to see was already sold! If I could give less stars I would!!

Met Daniel, who showed us round the car in question, he was straight talking and honest to deal with, which is exactly what is needed when buying a car you have saved up for over a long time.
There were a few points to talk about and with a check in with his manager a deal was done.
No additional charges or additions, which was refreshing.

Thanks Jack and Lee for sorting me out. Got to V12 on a busy evening and they were great with care and information. Love my new car! Great dealership with a range of vehicles low mileage and the team were helpful pre sale and during sale.

We were first welcomed by Ryan who was a lovely bloke. Very welcoming and accommodating, he offered us a drink and brought it to us. He made conversation about tattoos as we both have similar themes. We were then passed onto Jess from sales. Jess was also lovely, she ensured that she answered every question we asked and took us to the car to have a look around before we made the deal as we had already been on the Monday and completed the test drive. After we purchased the car we was handed over to Mia to complete the handover of the car. Mia was fantastic she is such an enthusiastic person. She had us laughing and made the whole situation rememberable. She also ensured that we knew all information and answered any further questions we had. I’d also like to mention the manager Wes, he was accommodating and sorted a few bits out on the car very quickly to make the service even better. These 4 people are a massive asset to the V12 team. Thank you guys!

My husband purchased a Range Rover Velar from the Wolverhampton branch on 10th July. At the point of sale, we were specifically told that the passenger-side electric wing mirror was not working. We agreed to purchase the vehicle on the understanding that the fault would be repaired when we returned to have the GardX treatment completed.
Unfortunately, what should have been a straightforward repair has turned into an extremely frustrating experience.
We were promised that the branch manager would personally contact us the following week. No call came and I had to repeatedly chase the branch before eventually getting the vehicle booked in.
We then travelled over an hour back to Wolverhampton and spent around four hours at the dealership. The GardX was completed and they attempted to replace the wing mirror, but we were then told the replacement mirror didn’t solve the problem and would have to be returned because it was expensive.
We were subsequently promised that the vehicle would be collected from my husband’s workplace the following week, taken to an auto electrician, repaired and returned to him.
Again, nobody contacted us.
I eventually contacted Aftercare myself, who appeared to know nothing about what had been arranged.
Since then, at their request, we have taken the vehicle to a local garage for a diagnostic test. Around 10 historic faults were cleared, which the garage believed were associated with the vehicle previously having a flat battery, but this still hasn’t resolved the wing-mirror problem.
We are now being told to take the vehicle to a Range Rover main dealer for another diagnostic because they have the appropriate expertise. Why were we not advised to do this from the beginning?
What concerns me most is that this was a known fault when the vehicle was sold to us. We didn’t discover it weeks later. The dealership knew about it, told us about it and assured us that they would repair it.
Instead, we have spent our time travelling backwards and forwards, making phone calls, chasing promised callbacks and arranging diagnostic appointments for a fault that existed when the vehicle was purchased.
My husband is also expected to continue driving a vehicle with a passenger-side mirror that he cannot properly adjust, which we are understandably uncomfortable with.
I am particularly disappointed with the management of the Wolverhampton branch. There have been plenty of promises but very little follow-through.
Over-promising and seriously under-delivering.
We purchased what should have been a lovely vehicle and should have been enjoying it. Instead, less than two weeks into ownership, we are already making a formal complaint and trying to get the dealership to take responsibility for a fault they knew about from day one.
I sincerely hope someone now takes ownership of this situation and gets the vehicle repaired properly without us having to continue chasing.
UPDATE TO MY PREVIOUS REVIEW
Following my previous review, I was told that someone would be in touch regarding a £99 refund. Well, that hasn’t happened either.
I have now received the latest response to my formal complaint, and unfortunately my experience continues to get worse.
The passenger wing mirror fault was an issue from the time we purchased the vehicle and was raised from the outset. The vehicle was subsequently returned to the Wolverhampton branch, where we were told that a replacement mirror had been tried but had not resolved the problem and that an auto electrician would be required.
Despite this, I have now been told by the complaints department that the fault was “formally reported outside of the initial 30-day period” and that they will therefore not cover the £420 diagnostic fee requested by Land Rover Shrewsbury.
I simply do not understand how they can maintain that the fault was reported outside 30 days when this was an existing issue that was raised at the beginning and that the dealership themselves were already aware of and had attempted to rectify.
They are now expecting us to pay £420 for a main-dealer diagnostic report before they will even consider authorising further repair work.
After spending a considerable amount of money on a Range Rover Velar, I did not expect to be left chasing a fault that existed from the outset, paying hundreds of pounds simply to diagnose it, repeatedly chasing promised contact, and now also chasing a £99 refund that I was told would be arranged.
I have given the dealership and complaints department ample opportunity to resolve this reasonably.
I am now escalating the matter to the finance company and will provide them with the full timeline, correspondence and evidence showing when the fault was first raised. I will also pursue the complaint through appropriate external channels
