Louie and his team are awesome

Louie and his team are awesome! This is my second personal VersaTables ever purchased outside of my work and I'm very happy with it. I had a lot more interaction with customer service this time because I accidentally ordered the wrong surface. At first, it seems that the exchange process was a hassle: No exchange in person (I live 45 mins away from the warehouse) or extremely expensive for me to ship the surface back using shipping providers available to me. Louie and his team were able to pull through and I paid a much lower shipping rate to return the surface. In fact, my wife is so happy with the service, she is buying another VersaTables product through her work.

Ordered a table; then nothing but silence

If this rating was for the table it would be 5 stars.

The table I ordered is very well made. The powder coated steel frame and accessories are beautifully crafted and absolutely solid.

The top is a heavy mdf with a thick top coat. It is every bit as solid as the frame.

Additionally several accessories come with the table such as a monitor mount and speaker stands. It is very well designed and all the hardware fits beautifully.

But this rating is for the experience.

They handled my order in a reasonable amount of time, two weeks to ship and three to arrive.

Where there was a problem was in communication. I am leaving my previous review up to explain. Basically after the order there was no communication and it took a call to find out a status that made sense.

No shipping notification was sent.

Overall poor communication but they get a pass because of the unique circumstances

Update: after calling customer service I was able to get clarification on my order status. At two weeks it has shipped with a planned arrival Friday.

The customer service guy was very competent and handled my query. So why 3 stars right now?

It took a phone call. Repeated emails received no response.

I will update once the table arrives. I have had Versa products before so my hopes are high.

Slightly more than a week after ordering a table, nothing but silence from Versa Tables. I go to look at the status of the order and it is “yes”. Yes to what?

Here is a suggestion:

Clarify the order status and reduce the customer service load and put your customer’s minds at ease.

An automated email when the status changes with an explanation as to what is going on would go a long way. It is standard practice.

Copy how Amazon does it with a graphical and clear illustration. Even just changing the status from “yes” to “ready to ship” or something that makes sense would be good.

I want to buy American first but your process Is not good.

I ordered a standing desk from a competitor around the same time. The process from them was clear, I received notices on the status and the desk has already arrived and is set up. All I know from you is “yes” and a customer survey email at the same time as the purchase.

You can do better. Communicating with your customers will go a long way in achieving customer satisfaction and will also result in more understanding and patience.

Still Waiting

When I placed the order in late March, Sonia was very nice and helpful. We had several emails and texts with pictures to confirm the correct size of the wheels. I got an email saying that they were coming but they have not been delivered yet. I realize that the mail service is very slow during this time. I’m not getting any notices from UPS / FedEx/ or USPS or any other shipping company.

Good Tables

Good Tables. Website could have more details. The "expert help" in the chat windows didn't know the products. Some of the information that they gave me conflicted with the information in the spec sheets and assembly manuals. When I pointed the errors in their initial responses, they acknowledged them, but I lost any confidence in their expertise - it seemed to me that they were telling me whatever they thought I wanted to hear without any regard to the actual product specs. Why do I give it 4 stars? Because the product that I purchased previously from them works well, and I am happy with it. Just read the spec sheets carefully and decide whether the piece of furniture that you are considering meets your need based on that.
