UPDATE FROM 1* (25/08/26). I was contacted was morning by Ella Haycock who has taken time to offer a resolution. I am happy to say that, not only have I received a refund, but she has resorted my faith in this company.

I ordered a mini mixer tap with levers which were delivered promptly. Unfortunately it was only after the tap was fitted a week later (VP advise not to book a plumber etc until the goods are in your possession !) that we discovered the levers have to be in the ‘off’ position to allow water to flow and in the ‘on’ position to shut off the water flow. I have 2 sets of this particular tap already so I know which way the levers operate. I requested a return as the goods are obviously faulty. VP are saying that they have contacted the manufacturer to see if the tap is faulty or if there has been a design change, which would mean the taps are functioning correctly. Really ? I have taps that operate in reverse and it might be a design change ?? I have emailed to advise that they are not described in the sales information as operating in reverse and therefore I am entitled to reject them as ‘not as described’. I have pointed out that no matter whether the tap is faulty or not, I am entitled to return them within 30 days. This has been ignored by VP. I suspect VP are stalling until the 30 day return policy period has expired at which time they will claim it is too late to return the item. So, at present I am £169 out of pocket with no sign of any resolution to having been sold a faulty item.

On Thursday 20/08/26 I got an email asking me to leave a review on the tap. I did so - obviously it wasn’t a good review which might explain why it hasn’t been uploaded and isn't showing either on their sales page or on this site.

Top notch website, and always good stock levels for quick next day delivery.

The pre 12 o'clock delivery is not always on time, but that's more the delivery company's fault.

Excellent customer service received by Evie Watkinson, of Victorian Plumbing. Second order of these tiles and one pack damaged, reported the issue and the next business day had a phone call from Evie early morning to rectify the situation, apologise for any inconvenience and a new pack issued. Can’t fault the company at all and Evie was very understanding of the urgency of the replacement tiles.

Most helpful in solving my issue. Their representative Willow Rawcliff pulled out all the stops!!

Renovating my bungalow at the age of 82 and of course builders I hired were excellent. Bought a VERY EXPENSIVE STATE OF THE ART SHOWER but from the start had many many problems. Contacted Victorian Plumbing on multiple occasions. I had to make the decision to dismantle shower. Of course then left with the problem of being without a shower. Communication between Builder and Victorian Plumbing went on. Unfortunately they came to the decision that as no videos etc were supplied they could not refund any amount of the £1300. It was in my garden for a long time and finally was picked up. Eventually came up with the reason that it must have been fitted wrongly and provided a photograph of a SLIGHTLY kinked pipe. I would therefore advise people to be wary purchasing items from Victorian Plumbing.

Customer service is very slow. You are not able to call so have to rely on email (which can take 72 hrs for each reply) or online chat (which isn’t always available due to being busy!). We had missing parts in our original order which took a little bit of time but it was fully resolved and sent to us next day. We returned an item for exchange using the same outer packaging it had been sent to us in and they wanted to remove 10% of the refund cost to repackage due to so minor damage from delivery.
