Easy to find seats, but didn’t see GA details (seated versus stand) until after purchase. Option to put tickets in wallet (instead of printing) would have gotten you a 5-star.

More secure but also difficult to get to the tickets

Ordered tickets and it was transferred within the hour of purchase!

I purchased a ticket, downloaded the app and hopefully my ticket will be emailed to me by tomorrow. If everything goes smoothly I can say that the process was very easy.

Even on the 4 th of July a person was able to assist me

How easy and great the tickets prices are compared to other sites

Buyer beware: My Vivid Seats experience cost me nearly $1,900.
I purchased 3 tickets through Vivid Seats as a gift and spent $1,900 on the tickets. I also paid for flights and an Airbnb to attend the concert.
After purchase, I received a ticket transfer and could see that I had accepted the seats. Everything appeared legitimate. However, I was never actually able to access the tickets.
I contacted Vivid Seats multiple times and was repeatedly reassured that this was normal and that the tickets would appear 24–48 hours before the concert. They never did.
Even 2 hours before the show, Vivid Seats customer service was still telling me to “be patient.” Another representative blamed SeatGeek and told me to go to the box office.
At the box office, they investigated the issue and informed me that the tickets had been revoked by the original seller and were no longer valid. Based on what I was told, this appears to be a scam in which a seller transfers tickets, then later revokes the transfer before the event. My siblings, who I had shared the tickets with, even received an email the day before the concert saying that ”[my name] had ended the party,” which was likely when the tickets were removed from our account.
Looking back, I should have questioned the seller name, which appeared as “John Smitch.”
The most frustrating part is that I repeatedly reached out to Vivid Seats for help and was continually reassured that everything was fine instead of being warned there was a problem. Had the issue been investigated sooner, I might have had time to find replacement tickets instead of discovering what happened at the box office.
This experience turned what was supposed to be a special gift into an incredibly stressful and expensive ordeal. Between the tickets, airfare, and Airbnb, thousands of dollars were on the line.
I’m sharing this so others know to be extremely cautious when purchasing resale tickets. If you’ve had a similar experience with revoked ticket transfers, I’d love to hear how it was resolved.
I was told to only purchase tickets from what Venue is associated with. In this case , that would have been seatgeek.
I also spoke to seatgeek about issue throughout this since the tickets were supposed to be transferred from vividseats to seatgeek. However, they kept blaming one another.
It wasn’t until I reached out to venue directly that I found answers.
