Winchester - superb customer service & product knowledge
I was greeted warmly when I went in to the Winchester store and from that point onwards, the service, advice and attention I received was absolutely brilliant. The best customer service I have had the pleasure of receiving in ages. Harvey was meticulous in handling my request (I've been receiving notifications my Vodafone Broadband was up for renewal and have two mobile contracts running alongside, so was there a better deal I could switch to?) explaining every detail thoroughly and I came away having signed up for a new phone, switching to a different Broadband plan and saving ourselves money. When I later reviewed all the confirmation emails from Vodafone, they mirrored exactly what Harvey had gone through with me. Beyond pleased - Harvey and the rest of the team, who were all busy whilst I was being served, are a credit to Vodafone. I highly recommend them to everyone and they fully deserve my 5 star review ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Archie gave me false information!
Archie gave me false information, when it came to upgrading felt like I was a nuisance. Feel like the manager and Archie need training I asked if I upgraded could I pay the phone loan of as it’s interest free he said I had to wait 3 months which is not true at all he even asked the manager who provided the false info. This is not professional whatsoever? Also as I was speaking him and a fellow colleague kept looking at eachother felt all uncomfortable called customer service and upgraded basic information was not given. Not happy on the other hand 3 across the road was very helpful.

Top class service
After spending about 4 hours over 3 days on the phone to customer services to sort delivery of new phone and activation of SIM for my daughter, I decided to try and get some sensible advice in my local store. Luckily for me, Harvey took on board all my issues and frustration and literally resolved a very stressful situation within 5 minutes. He is quite simply a total hero and has the customer at the forefront of his advice and service. Thank you Harvey for going above and beyond to ensure that you resolved our issue. We are very grateful.

Deteriorating coverage
Really screwed up the change over from 3G to 5G….coverage south of Winchester varies from
E (no data) to one bar of 4G to 5G to nothing all in the space of a mile … when will they ever fix these issues?

I know how frustrating signal and connection issues can be. If you pop your postcode into the Network Status Checker here: https://vodafone.uk/330ItxS you'll be able to see if there are any issues, outages or maintenance works in an area that could be impacting your service.
Maintenance will be highlighted by a screwdriver symbol. You can click on this and it will tell you if there is an expected end time for the work.
Network Issues and outages have a yellow triangle which you can click and sign up for updates.

Incredible customer service from Harvey in Winchester
I should probably do 2 reviews for this. Vodafone would score 1 star but Harvey, the assistant manager in Winchester would score 5 stars.
I have had a billing problem with Vodafone and despite hours trying to speak to 191 - when I eventually get through, they either can't help and just cut me off or promise to cal back and don't - I got absolutely nowhere. I went into Vodafone in Winchester where the manager Alexei tried to help. He discovered problems with the set up of my account going back years, spoke to Vodafone who again promised to get back within a week. They didn't and next thing I'm receiving threatening messages saying my line will be disconnected and my number removed.
I again went into Winchester Vodafone and was lucky enough to be seen by Harvey. The first person who sat there calmly saying I will sort this for you. Not only is he a whizz on the system, keeping on and on at it trying to find a solution, but is utterly charming with it.
Harvey is now on the case checking everything is sorted and has promised to phone back with an update. Vodafone - do everything you can to keep Harvey. If it wasn't for him I would now be transferring our 5 numbers with you after being with you for over 25 years. Thank you Harvey!
