Excellent service from Warmup when our kitchen floor heating failed

Our kitchen floor heating failed on Christmas Day. A phone call to Warmup after the holiday period was over, and the system fell easily into place. Once I had paid the set fee, a date for the technician to attend was swiftly arranged.
Phil was very thorough, testing the thermostat and then checking the underfloor heating mats. The problem lay with the thermostat which he replaced and helped me to set up. The cost of the new thermostat and call out was deducted from what I had already paid. It was a relief that the ceramic tiled floor was not affected.
Thank you very much to Phil - calm, unhurried and reassuring at all times.

Great help from Harley

Great help from Harley with resetting up of the wifi thermostat after our electrics had been disconnected and it loosing it's settings.
He was able to give me clear and precise information and new what to do when I came up against a problem.

Thermostat and WiFi connectivity

My issue is with the wi fi thermostat. I recently changed my IP address which means the facia has to be removed to scan the QR code enabling heat management via the app. Warmup constantly tell me the QR code should be on the facia which it isn't. They then tell you to lever the facia off with a sc rewdriver to scan the QR code on the inside which might crack the screen. This year I haven't used my underfloor heating as you can't turn heating on via the app without scanning the QR code. How ridiculous that the app does not make provision in settings for changing IP address. The support team are downright rude and unhelpful.

The Warmup Element thermostat is supplied with a primary QR code located on the front fascia, labelled “Do Not Discard.” This label contains the device’s unique pairing information which is required for securely linking the thermostat to the MyHeating app during initial setup and whenever the Wi Fi network configuration changes (e.g., new router, SSID, password etc…)

If the front label is removed or misplaced, a secondary, permanent QR code is printed on the rear housing of the thermostat. This serves as the backup registration method and ensures that app pairing is still possible even if the external label is unavailable.

The fascia is designed to be removed without any force on the display panel itself. The unit incorporates a release clip located on the underside; inserting a flat head screwdriver into the designated slot disengages this clip. Once released, the fascia lifts away cleanly.

Damage can only occur if the screen is pulled outward without first releasing the retaining mechanism.

It is also important to note that the thermostat remains fully operational as a standalone controller. All heating functions — including temperature adjustment, scheduling, and manual override — can be accessed directly from the unit on the wall until the app connection is restored.

Excellent tech/customer support

I had a problem with my warm up thermostat as the floor wasn’t heating sufficiently.
