Installation of windows & a door
From ordering to installation the process was seamless with a point of contact for any queries we had. The two gentleman who carried out the installation (Reece and Michael) worked very hard and were a pleasure to deal with.

I would avoid this company
I would avoid this company, they sent a rep out to give us a quote for patio doors in a new opening for 4k. We thought it was steep but signed the contract, shook hands and was told would be fitted in 6 weeks. A few days later the sales manager rang saying it would cost 5k instead. But we had a contract in place. Rang back after 5 weeks to check on progress and the sales manager said would now cost 8k. That's 100% in 6 weeks so unfortunately they have had to refund the deposit and ignore the contract they signed. Nothing changed on site just heavy handed sales after the contract has been signed and wanting more and more money! 8k for a patio door...don't trust the original contract, estimate, etc. they won't honour it. We now have to find another supplier.

We understand your frustration regarding the changes to the quoted price. Following a further review, it became clear that the original quotation did not fully account for the creation of the required opening, including the associated building works and compliance with relevant building regulations.
We appreciate that this should have been identified and communicated clearly at the outset, and we apologise for any confusion and inconvenience this has caused. This was an oversight on the sales persons behalf and certainly intentional. This is understandably disappointing and not the experience we would want for any of our customers.
We can see that the decision was made to cancel the order and issue a full refund of your deposit, however we appreciate that this does not make up for the inconvenience caused or the need to seek an alternative supplier.
We take your comments seriously and will review this internally to understand how this situation arose and ensure improvements are made. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Very impressed with this company
Very impressed with this company. Our salesman was not pushy and took care to explain everything clearly and help us make decisions. The installation was on schedule, and the fitters very polite, friendly and tidy (with all of the old door and surrounds taken away). Well pleased and recommend.

I had an issue with our front door…
I had an issue with our front door contacted Dawn at WYW and as always she was really helpful and ordered the parts required and got the engineer out really quickly. Really good customer service and Roy sorted the door.

Wonderful and Efficient Service
Had a new Conservatory fitted 5 years ago - one of the small roof panel windows recently began to mist inside -
Contacted West Yorkshire Windows to see what they could do for us - did speak to two very helpful customer support ladies Robyn and Dawn who assured us that as the conservatory was under guarantee it was not a problem.
They arranged for someone to inspect the window and then ordered a replacement which was promptly fitted when it arrived.
Couldn't have been more helpful !

Do Not use this company, they are unprofessional and unreliable. I had an appointment for a quote, was promised the quote by end of play next day , No quote. Txtd the sales rep the day after to see if sent to wrong email, no he would send it by end of play that day, still No quote. Contacted the Sales director to complain of service which she got back to saying they would look in to it. I then received an email yesterday from the sales rep with two photos of what my conservatory would look like, velux in wrong place but still No quote. This morning I then received another email asking if I’d like a second appointment to discuss the quote and if so I’d have to travel to their sales room and it would be a two hour appointment. But still No quote. I emailed back saying that I wouldn’t be using their service and why and cc in the sales director and manager. I got an email back saying’ have you spoke to this woman’ absolutely disgusting. This woman has a name and if you want business maybe best to use the customers name for a start, listen in the first appointment not rush in and out, send the quote when you say and correct photos and details of the job I enquired a quote for. I am very disappointed with your service

I had all the windows in my house…
I had all the windows in my house replaced. A new front door and a patio door. The two men who came worked quickly, efficiently and cleared up as they went. The finish is brilliant. Each window has been carefully sealed in, the finish is excellent. Neighbours have commented on how good the house now looks.

A straightforward process and great work!
In November, I went into the showroom with only the vague idea that I liked the idea of having some sort of patio door at the back of the house. I got chatting to a salesman and he helped me work out that French doors were what I was looking for. He gave me a rough estimate of what they might cost and answered all my questions about the process.
I sent through some pictures of the window we wanted replaced by French doors and soon got back a quote. Everything looked good so I accepted it and agreed on an installation date of Wednesday 14th January.
The workmen who came on 14th January made light work of the installation and did a fantastic job! They just got on with it, but kept me informed on progress. The main installation probably only took half a day and they were very tidy, cleaning up thoroughly after doing the installation.
The same men came back on Friday 16th to do the plastering. That is done to the same high standard. Overall I'm overjoyed with the quality of the work!
If I could offer one bit of constructive feedback, it would be this: Between the day that I paid the deposit and the installation date, I received no communications until I got a reminder to pay the remaining balance a few days before the installation date. I became doubtful that the work was actually happening on the scheduled date and rang to check. Perhaps an automated reminder a week or two before the installation date would have just put my mind at ease a bit.
Finally, I want to say that everybody I interacted with in the entire process was friendly and professional. I really was impressed by everything!

Windows and doors replacement
West Yorkshire Windows arranged for the scaffolders to arrive 2 days prior to the job, in which they arrived promptly as requested.
WYW arrived on time on the scheduled day and began covering any carpets and furniture. They worked professionally and thoroughly throughout the 2 days, clearing and vacuuming as they went along. We are extremely impressed with the service, workmanship and professionalism of West Yorkshire Windows and would highly recommend them.

Great service not just at the time of sale …
Great service when we found a shadowing / clouding on the inside of a recently fitted door. The team where great, accepting the problem, ordering replacement and keeping in touch whilst it was on order, then fitting it brilliantly, including swapping the first replacement as that had the same issue !
