Exceptional bathroom design & fit out

From start to finish, Wickes have provided a truly superb experience for us upgrading our bathroom. Lyndsey at the Widnes store designed our bathroom and advised on a great selection of tiles, fittings and furniture, then input it all in the PC so we could see exactly what our finished bathroom would look like.
Before the work started the whole process was explained from delivery, to specialist work, and what to expect from the fitting team.
Our fitter Joe was superb, working in the summer heat from first thing in the morning into the evening to get the job done to perfection in a timely manner. The finish was absolutely perfect and was exactly how Lyndsey designed it!
Now it’s finished we absolutely love it, and will for sure be back when it’s time to do the kitchen

Damage to property by courier, acting on behalf of wickes

We had a garden storage delivered by Wickes who use a courier company and the courier company dropped off the very large heavy item down by our car and subsequently this fell over because it wasn’t lent up against anything and damaged my car although there is CCTV and ring camera evidence, and you can clearly see on the car where the plastic covering which is green a scratched all down the car the courier company won’t take responsibility and say that it didn’t happen. This is now having to be reported to the police or wicks, and the courier company have taken some time to respond to it.

Nat, Bal and Sahil helped me today with tiles that I purchased. They were very friendly and helpful. Sahil helped me load the tiles into my car. Highly recommend Handsworth store

Beware don’t order online or you may loose your money

I cannot believe how sloppy wickes online orders are. First of all my parcel was never delivered, I got in touch with the team at wickes and they established that parcel was delivered, sent me a photo and it was not my door. They then said that team will investigate it and someone will be in touch in 24 hours. Nobody was in touch, not in 24 hours, not in 48 hours or not even after several days.
They just took my £95, didn’t deliver the package and did not bother investigating. Crooks!
3 days later I went around the neighbouring buildings looking at the porches and was able to find where the delivery guy dumped the parcel at some random building. Note it is a heavy parcel that I ended up delivering myself. A tower of x10heavy duty plastic lidded boxes.
2 of the boxes had broken handles. But what’s the point in contacting wickes if they didn’t care that parcel went missing in the first place?

Disabled facilities????

There are 5 disabled parking bays on site,3 of which were occupied by vehicles not displaying the disabled parking badge as required.Not sure if there will be any penalties for them as intimated that there would by the store staff.only excessively large & heavy trolleys for carrying 8 x 4 sheets available which as a disabled person in a chair I would find difficult to use.no baskets or ordinary shopping trolleys

JAMES CROUCH - My hero!

We had an issue with part of our order so I rang the Swindon store to speak to the sales consultant. Unfortunately she was on holiday but, as luck would have it, James Crouch answered the phone.
James was helpful but explained that he was about to go on holiday himself. He assured me that he would do his best to get things sorted before he left but, if he couldn’t, he would hand the problem to his manager. I asked him to do all he could for me and James came through. The replacement unit has been ordered and will be delivered to us early next week.
Thank you James for your excellent customer service and communication. I would like to give you 5 stars and an extra weeks holiday (if I could!).
Wickes Swindon - James Crouch is an absolute asset to your store.

I'd like to leave a review for Anthony at the Corby Wickes store. Every time we've visited, he's been incredibly helpful, friendly, and professional. He's always attentive, takes the time to listen, and seems to have a solution for every problem or project we bring to him.

His knowledge and willingness to go the extra mile make a real difference, and nothing ever seems like too much trouble. Excellent customer service is hard to find, and Anthony is a real credit to the Corby Wickes team. Thank you for all your help—we really appreciate it!

A member of staff at the Bury site…

A member of staff at the Bury site named Jack was so helpfull with a purchase which you did not have in stock, enabling for me to have home delivery.
He was efficient and went out of his way to sort my purchase out.
A credit to the bury store who will get many return customers.

Victoria was the best Design Consultant I have experienced. Having worked in Retail Design myself, she was very understanding, thoughtful, and aspiring. We decided we wanted a new kitchen and…

We decided we wanted a new kitchen and asked wickes Huddersfield’s to arrange for a design consultant to give us a visit.
A Mr. Joe Ragona came on time and was very pleasant and polite took measurements we and worked out a design between us.Joe was a great help to us deciding fixtures and fittings and we are now looking forward to our new kitchen

Dreadful customer service.

Dreadful customer service.

update: the staff at the call centre were rude and unhelpful. However, I just went to the store in Blackheath and a member of staff was extremely helpful and solved the issue for me. I wish I had gone there in the first place rather than wasting an hour on the phone to the call centre.

Bathroom refit stress

Had previous issues with Wickes, supplying damaged and missing units. Now I've had a bathroom refit with them, the design consultant wasn't helpful at all, items were out of stock or not included on the list, the customer experience consultant was impossible to get hold of despite sending generic emails saying she was checking in to see how the job was going (even though various calls and emails were logged to show everything wasn't going ok - lack of communciation). Items out of stock shortly before the refit was due to begin, add to that the firm they used to complete the bathroom refit was constantly on the phone from start to finish, stretching the job out - not helpful when you are without a toilet or shower for days. Wickes, you really need to do better, the service you provide from start to finish is nothing but non-stop stress.
