Called in to check size of a replacment timber gate,found what I was looking for,and sizes matched what I required.Was going to order on line for delivery to home,but had see a few reviews saying they wished they had purchased in store as the one they had delivered was warped.I asked at checkout if delivery came from the branch..the guy was not sure and asked for the manager to answer my question.I told her Sofia what my dilemma was.the gates they had in stock were all fine,she assured me the delivery would come from that store and could be delivered on Tuesday.We decided to place place the order with Sofia there and then Very polite,pleasure to deal with.Lets just hope the gate i ordered arrives and is not warped 😉 😀 Sofia is a credit to the company.On a plus note,the air con in the store was very welcome 👌😎

A couple of months ago I had a fantastic experience renovating my bathroom. Joe Mcgregor helped me design the changes, talked me through the process and organise the installation. He was helpful when I had components left to reufnd at the end as well. Additional shoutout to Betu, the installer, who was able to install things ahead of schedule.

Visited Wickes in Stevenson Road, Edinburgh today. Outstanding service from Raj , an employee in the store . I asked him where I could find sand and top soil and not only did he tell me where to find it but he appeared at the top soil and helped me load the heavy bags into my trolley then fetched me a black bag to put over a damaged bag. I continued shopping and once I had paid Raj appeared again to load the bags into my car . I really appreciated the help and wanted Wickes to know that Raj is a credit to the company.

We used Wickes Burgess Hill to renovate our kitchen. Michelle was our designer and she was fantastic to work with. She really took the time to understand our wishes, and explained the options available to us within our budget. She gave us time to make our own choices, but also provided valuable suggestions. Michelle was very quick to get back to us about anything, and accommodating throughout, especially when we kept making last minute tweaks! We always felt well supported by Michelle and were very pleased at how well the budget was kept to.
Kevin the fitter was also very good - great to have in the house, completed the job very timely and to an excellent standard. He was very approachable and patient with our extra job requests, and included us in decisions so that we felt part of the process.
We are very happy with our new kitchen, it looks incredible and is so much more functional now - it has really enhanced how we use and spend time in the space.

Was charged for donation, when clearly told checkout staff member 'No. ' When looked at receipt ,pointed this out and she tried to say my partner had said yes to it which was untrue , plus was charged twice for one item . Now refund is costing my company through no fault of my own . And no apology given for her mistakes. Very bad customer service.

This is my second review but now my kitchen is finished I can share the full experience, not just a part of it.
1) the designer didn’t allow enough material to make the boiler cupboard big enough to meet regulations. As she was now on maternity leave, getting the order amended was nearly impossible. The installer insisted in messaging the designer while she was on maternity leave, No one from Wickes customer service was prepared to tell him to get another member of staff to change the order. I had to threaten to cancel the order to get it amended.
2) 4 days before the worktop’s were delivered we were told the material for the upstands and splash backs were out of stock. We had to pick another design pattern , even though we ordered and paid for the kitchen 10 weeks before.
3) 2 days before installation the kitchen was delivered, minus the integrated fridge/freezer . They didn’t have any 70/30 fridge freezers in stock . So we had to buy another one fromAO. IT took over 3 weeks to get a refund off Wickes.
4) The kitchen designer hadn’t ordered any compound for the Minerva travertine haze splash backs, this set the installation back 3 days.
5) the installer hadn’t put on his survey that he needed herringbone loose tongues (splines) for the flooring. So he had to come back and I ended up footing the bill for his mistake for £300 extra.

I had a very disappointing experience with Wickes. I selected a specific delivery date for my fencing so I could have it installed the following day, but the order was not delivered as promised. Instead, it was delivered to the wrong store, and I was simply told it was due to a new driver.
There was no real effort to resolve the issue or get my order to me, despite the inconvenience it caused. As a result, I had no choice but to cancel the order. I had already arranged and paid for someone to come and fit the fence the following day, so the failed delivery has delayed my entire project and left me out of pocket.
Very poor service, unreliable delivery, and disappointing customer support. I wouldn’t recommend Wickes based on this experience.

Didn’t make it to the appointment as I got a phone call before my appointment basically telling me that they won’t be able help me with the needs I wanted before even knowing the measurements etc and also telling me a price before even knowing the ideas I had, I will never attempt to go to wicks again as this isn’t the customer service I expect!!!

In regards to the staff member Brett, he is a credit to the Luton store with such a bright future with the positive attitude he has. He doesn’t shy away from helping and always has such a can do attitude towards customers and other staff

Hannah was very friendly and very helpful at the till. She sorted out my order for collection quickly and efficiently.
John then took everything to my car and put 12 heavy bags into the car . Nothing was too much trouble and I really appreciated both their excellent service
