My WordPress, my app. Guess what, I made a mistake by paying for a wrong plan 300$ instead of 30$. But look, I was all worried to lose this money, but I was surprised to find that they can refund as long as you register your complaint within 14hrs. And finally, a reverse was made in 7working days. BEWARE of WordPress
BEWARE - wordpress literally behaves like some kind of cheap, street MAFIA!
Even though I supposedly have the right to a FREE VERSION of the website, when my "Premium Plan" expires, in PRACTICE it is completely different/contra = they did something that made it IMPOSSIBLE to visit my website, primarily because the browser does not want to open it for SECURITY REASONS: the Browser claim that "it is dangerous to open my website on wordpress, because there is a risk of THEFT of credit cards, passwords".
I also have a screenshot of all that, if you need proof.
I haven't even mentioned the other negatives yet:
- the actions are terribly complicated.
- they are indescribably boring with a 'reminder' that I have to pay up soon (Premium).
-at least 2-3 times a DAY they sent me warnings that "I have to top up soon", and so every month before the expiration date.
Well, just because of so much spamming I'm leaving you!
And where are these strange and suspicious (hidden blackmail??) actions with my site JUST BECAUSE I DID NOT CONTINUE paying for the 'Premium Plan'.

WP was always writer-friendly
WP was always writer-friendly, started as a blog site but has added features over the years. I used it a long time for a popular newspaper column I did and updating content was by far the easiest of any of the platforms I was familiar with. I've used it since 2010 and am still active.

Claims Free. Is one of the most expensive.
Claims free. Charges 6X as much as competition. The site builders outdated. They make you think with such limited options and a horrible interface these are just problems you deal with for free. After putting in 11 hours building my site they popped up a plan starting at 18.99 a month. The competition is better in every way. 1/6 the price and strait forward.
This is classic dark-pattern marketing with ambiguous wording to mislead and misinform.
Think twice before giving them your money.

WordPress.com doesn't have a built-in print feature, but there are a couple of good options for getting printed copies of your blog.
The easiest approach is using "blog-to-book" services that can import your WordPress.com content and create a printed book. Services like BlogBooker and PixxiBook specialize in turning blogs into physical books.
Alternatively, you could export your content and then format it for printing using a word processor. First, export your content from Tools → Export in your dashboard - this gives you an XML file. Then import that file into a word processor like Microsoft Word (it can handle WordPress exports). Once imported, you'll need to clean up the formatting since WordPress content doesn't always transfer perfectly. Remove any unwanted HTML code, adjust fonts and spacing, add page breaks between posts, and create a table of contents if you want one.

What attracted me to Wordpress was its free subdomain name (yourdomain.wordpress.com). While I did successfully create a rough website with Wordpress, its usability and functionality is incredibly difficult even for someone like myself who has two other websites with a different web client.
Ultimately, I believe what intimidates people about websites is that they seem technologically complicated. Having successfully built other websites using other web platforms, I have witnessed how these platforms take the complication of websites and shave it down to bite size pieces a typical person could easily digest. As a former user, I do not believe Wordpress provides that platform for that typical person.

Do Not Use if you are not already experienced
This is one of the most difficult sites on which to create a website. Even the AI, when it was available, could not navigate me through the complex maze of this website platform. Admittedly, I am not a pro by any means, but I AM able to use another platform with much greater ease. Wordpress.com was so bad, I just canceled the account and took the loss (for a year's worth of payments). And for me to give up 10 out of 12 months of the prepaid account that's pretty bad. Save your money and find a simpler platform.
