Yelp only posts negative reviews and…

Yelp only posts negative reviews and hides the positive ones. They don't give the person who is reviewed the chance to respond and it hurts businesses. They pop up a year later. They asked us to pay to do business with them once and we refused. I would never do business with a sketchy company that only post negative reviews almost to bully people into using them. Not honest at all!!!

Bath Fitters Misleading Claims

In the four pages of small print I had to sign was the wording, "If you fail to make any scheduled payment on time... the 'Same as Cash' Option ends. Interest will then be assessed... from the actual completion date and the 'Same as Cash' Period will not be interest free." (Although that never hit my radar as a potential problem until it was too late.)

And although that seems mostly reasonable, what it means in effect is that if someone is late by just a day or two on one payment for any reason, that that the entire Free interest provision in the contract is void.

In the spirit of agreement, I don't believe the $1200 they made me pay in interest (for just six months) was justified. I talked to the rep when the problem occurred, and they didn't sound like there was any problem. They simply put the payment through again and it cleared. Also, I ended up paying the entire amount due well within the one-year deadline! (I think I paid it off in just six or seven months.)

So, even if Bath Fitters (and their sheisty credit company) is technically within their rights making me pay all that interest, it sure doesn't seem justified to me.

BTW: Another misleading (Fraudulent?) claim they make is that the work will be done in "Just one day!" When I asked the contractor why it was taking two full days, he said that it almost always does!

Yelp is fraudulent

Yelp is fraudulent.

They disallow honesty in their reviews and remove them when they are uncomfortable. Instead of allowing the public to know when someone is a dangerous person to go see. This is disgusting and means they support violence against women.

We should all be aware that the reviews on yelp are incomplete and can’t be trusted. Useless site.

I am deeply concerned about the…

I am deeply concerned about the inconsistency in moderation decisions of the YELP website …A positive review I left for my doctor was removed without sufficient explanation. At the same time, another review containing explicit profanity, offensive language, and personal insults remains publicly visible.
This type of content clearly violates basic standards of respectful communication and undermines the credibility of their platform. Allowing such reviews to remain while removing legitimate, respectful feedback raises serious concerns about fairness and transparency in their review policies.

First class service: True Serve Electric

This company, TrueServe Electric in Midlothian TX is about as honest and competent a business I know of. They have now served me 3 times on different electric matters and for all 3, have done a first class job. Fair prices. Prompt service. What more could anyone ask for?

Yelp sends 5 to 10 tree companies one lead and they make all 10 companies fight over one job. Customers will not reply after instantly replying to their messages. I'd advise you Stick with Google Yelp doesn't even deserve 1 star

They misrepresent there services
Perpetrate fraud
Unauthorized charges that they won’t return.
The girl that set me up with service said she would call a week before to cancel or continue.
I ended up emailing her first and tell her to cancel it yelp sucks they do nothing for you at all
If your a business don’t do it you’ll regret it like me.
Then charge your card twice when I was on a 30 day trial. And called a week before it ended. They are dishonest so please don’t say I didn’t warn you. I wish someone warned me prior.

Truly the worst experience I've had with a business

This is truly the worst experience that I've had with a business- they HUNG UP the phone on me deliberately when I asked them to remove my credit card from their account (there's no option to do this on my end), after I spend over 12 hours on hold trying to get through to them over 3 days.

The Checkers restraint in east Wichita, ks

We went to the Checkers restraint in east 13th, Wichita. Both times we left with upset feelings. The fist time we were told there would be a 5 minute or more wait to be seated. There was hardly any customers we could see already there. We left, no reason we couldn't be seated that we could see. This second time, that really peed us off, was the same thing, hardly any customers there, and were told it would be at least a 5 minute wait before being seated. So, since we were there with friends, we did sit down and waited. During this time, no one came in or left but there were 3 people standing at the entry stand, just talking and not paying any attention to any customers. Then, after waiting for awhile, we were taken to a booth that we had requested a table since we are both old and unable to sit at the low down booth benches that they have there. I had a previous experience with a very similar bench seat and I couldn't get up from it without making a real fool of myself trying to get up. It took 3 people to help me get up at that time. Anyway, we asked repeatedly for a table instead of the booth and even though there were obviously empty tables very close to where we were standing, we were not offered any. We left at that point, taking 4 customers to a different restaurant

Mr. & Mrs. Fixit

Called Mr. & Mrs. Fix It for help finishing a deck project left by another company. Mr. & Mrs. Fix It came to my rescue! They fixed the problem. Highly recommend them. Easy to work with, they understand what needs done and are fun to work with. 💯

YELP IS A BULLY!

Yelp listed a negative review on my business that was inaccurate and fraudulent. I reported the review and Yelp did nothing! I then had other verified customers of my business log reviews on Yelp and they denied all of them! They are listed as NOT RECOMMENDED! I called Yelp several times to remedy this issue and they kept saying it is how we operate! YELP is a BULLY! They Bully small businesses like mine and provide no solutions to their deficiencies. DO NOT USE THIS PLATFORM!

Wish I could leave 0 stars. Scammers. Call and call making promises, then when they charge a ridiculous amount that was never agreed to, you can’t get in touch with anyone. Awful service.

Yelp improperly allowed a customer to keep a lewd and slanderous comment

Yelp improperly allowed a customer to leave a review using lewd words which violates their own policy. The comment also made false accusations about 2005 and Beyond Spa in Sarasota Florida. These are untrue and without any proof of illegal activities. This could be considered slander by Yelp and they may be liable for it, along with the person who made the review. I responded to the review and appealed to Yelp to remove it, since it violated their own policy for the use of lewd words. I pointed out that it was slanderous, and could make them liable for unprovable and untrue accusations . Their response was to close my account and block me from access. A very unprofessional and possibly Illegal move on their part. This is a wrongful and revengeful response by Yelp. It's no wonder that a huge 95% majority of their reviews are one star only with major grievances from other customers against them.
