It's almost impossible to run ads on X because their braindead, moronic "automated" systems ban, restrict and halt everything for no reason. There is almost no real customer service. The accounts get shadow banned and limited if you don't pay for premium, and premium is also garbage because you can still be suspended and banned. Very poorly run site run by absolute idiots with no business sense. Must be losing money at this point.

I started to use X/Twitter again after many years. In first couple days of being active they locked me out day after day. Couple days later they put a 3 day ban for posting or any social interaction. All I did was follow my fav topics, repost and like.
Also, in my first days there I encountered more scammers and toxic random dm's than I can imagine, reporting them makes no difference, they live and thrive there. I learned not to follow back anyone the hard way. Most toxic platform in my experience so far.

Twitter, now X, is a joke. The fiasco yesterday with all of the vitriolic hate was just the cherry on top.
I miss the days when twitter was a trusted platform to get the most up to date information on developing situations. it used to be a truly useful and valuable resource. it's virtually unusable now. a real shame

MY TWITTER WAS BANNED for no reasons!!!!!! It should be free to talk everthing and I havn't talk any rude words that's break the rules. Now I have to write email to them and ask my account back. :< It's really makes me disappointed

After years of having a twitter account, X decided that my accont was Inauthentic, and just suspended my account, claiming that I was "Violating our rules against inauthentic accounts." After several months of begging X to lift the suspension, NOT once did X even bother replying at all! I have decided that I have had enough and am now leaving a review I would rate X in the minus if I could, as their excuses are Inauthentic and downright pathetic

I joined the platform and made over 100 posts, but I received ZERO views. I couldn't understand why. I then started getting asked to pay for an upgrade. Why allow me to make all those posts if you're not going to let anyone see them? It wasted a lot of my time for nothing. That's deceptive. Elon Musk should be made to answer for this deception. It's a con.

If you want to know how NOT to run a platform, just go to x.com. The UI is a catastrophe. It is unnecessarily complicated to find specific settings. The spam is out of hand. Many posts are flooded with Throw-Away-Spam-Accounts. It is mind boggling that a human can find anything useful or interesting about this useless platform. Welcome to the 21st century real life version of Idiocracy.

If you can't afford to pay don't bother. Without premium you are so restricted and unseen it isn't worth your time. You can't edit, you don't see your followers, you are restricted on how many you can follow, your replies drop to the bottom and you are always accused of being spam. The customer service is non existent.

Scientific facts mean nothing, political views pushed hard, drowning in bots, "free speech - while censoring sourced material...

Under Elon Musk, X, the former Twitter site, moderation was largely removed and it has turned into a cesspool of disinformation, political extremism, crackpot conspiracy theories, grifters and bots.

Elon Musk promoting his own extremist divisive opinions on the site is worrying.

The “verified” label just means the account has paid some money and have a phone number – no deterrent to grifters and foreign government agencies trying to manipulate public opinion and cause division in Western democracies.

Opaque algorithms for which accounts/posts get boosted and which de-boosted cause concern.

As I write, the mobile version is working but the browser-based version is broken and unusable. It hasn't been functioning properly for days.

Any plusses? Community Notes are good. Grok AI kind of works. Hot news appears quickly (along with hot lies). Enough to raise the rating from 0 to 1 star.

Its just a reskin of Twitter, but Elon (the new owner) recently claimed this is now "The internet", like, the actual internet is actually x.com, one of his many big mouthed tweets, or should I now say, x's, like, x.com is "the everything app" (but it barely changed). Proving he the current owner of x.com, formerly twitter.com, can be quite delusional sometimes.

Despite the owner, the website still functions decently, it lost a few features like youtube video embedding (on x.com site youtube video playing), presumably due to new rivalry with Google.

Other users also seem to spotlight an increase in bot traffic, but I find it more or less the same after the "x.com takeover".

Many users seem to have flewn away from formerly twitter as Elon bought the site because they started seeing more "offensive posts". In my oppinion this is because they're focusing on Elon's tweets since he's the new owner and gets a lot of attention, and says controversial things sometimes some people won't like (and I'm not talking about his out of orbit big mouthed comments, but rather political or business stances).

Has there been a political shift since x.com though? Maybe, who cares though, all my favourite content is still there, and it feels very close to being the same, just with an AI attatched and a big mouthed owner.

This app now since Elon Musk is just a selected freedom of speech where some ppl get suspended and others dont for say the exact same things. Violent videos etc are posted everyday, ppl respond with violent replies and yet only some get this freedom of speech and freedom to post those things that violate rules. This also applies to many different rules etc. Plus their appeal process is a waste of time anyway because you get the same answer because its not a person reviewing the appeals, Its a bot. Spam hatred and violence and then suspend ppl for same thing is completely stupid. Plus with all the war going on around the world stating "im getting ready for war" isn't anything. I made alot of companies change their bad ways using X and also was banned for 4 yrs previously for exposing the true meaning of racist is actually racist by definition. Google then teamed up and changed it on their search and I got suspended.

Had a ban on here for calling out someone. And have been to be proven right in the meantime. I appealed the ban at the time, and still waiting for the so called outcome of this. 4 years so far.

Totally fail to provide any access to their website for blind people attempting to contact them for help, Noting Ratigan states he is an envoy for disabled people, he does not provide any means for disabled people to access him or their x.com website and when you have to pay your local church to help you contact them to ask why they lie and do not support disabled people or to access their site.
They block you. I am waiting to add photographic evidence along with inaccessible emails. Please avoid, they ask for your date of birth straight away, not sure why and refuse to let you go any further if you dont put it, when they state it is optional.
Having been made aware that they also take payment fees, from people who do no longer use their deceitful website.

I have been reporting a profile that shows online grooming online rape and online breach of sexual privacy and they keep sending me to send info and documentation I have even sent a police report number and they still have not taken this down !!!!! This has been months and months !!! They need to delete this profile as they are contributing to acts of rape by allowing this profile online to be viewed!!!!! This page has been inactive for months and months as the groomer passed away hence why the page was discovered!!!

X' redundant 'Authentication' tool is so broken that you'd never complete it.

i had one of the worst experiences in life in this app
1.they just ban accounts for no reason
2.they make you lose access to your account for no reason
3. no real support
from my experience i had 2 accounts for my business
but after a while they locked my account for no reason and when you try to contact the support there's no human support there's just bots
for my second account it was verified so i paid 9$ after a while they just logged me out from my account and said that they can't help me getting access to my account because they are not sure it's me and that's just a bot reply and they stole my 9$
i used it for 3 days so i guess they just don't care about users anymore
and also about content my content was clean on x but no they ban me and make porn viral
well i don't recommended this app at all especially if you wanna do something professional

Useless site.
No wonder the site is losing members and money. I've a label put on my account for just posting on X aka twitter. I do see why people don't bother using it anymore. It's such a bad community to be on. It's just easier not to use X and just use one of the big sites out there to communicate with people on. The owner of X has ran this site into the ground.
