Very bad experience with this company,especially about their customer call centre, staff no be patience and ruled, wifi signal is poor, only use it for card payment machine, it has failed to connected cased my business lost payments, also they increased your bill only emailed you and added extra services without your agreement, not consider to use this company any more !

Good morning all

Good morning all , to join the Xln so called as daisy now a days , is the worse deduction of my life . I hope I should read the reviews before join the services . Here is the experience with Xln that I m still struggling and no one is helping me .

Last year one person come to my office and tells me that we will give you a very good deal and according to that deal you have to pay only 27 pound every month for 2 years and as you have small buissness so you don’t have to pay anything and you can cancel it any time without paying daisy anything . Seems good deal so I agreed . Please be noted they tells me . 27 pound but money goes from my account as 32 pound . They will never tell you the vat charges . So please add it by yourself . After 2 months . Suddenly my bill goes up by 45 pound every month. I calll them they told me they added insurance with out my permission. I removed and they credit me back and I received the letter my insurance is removed , but next month again happen , again removed. , credited and received letter . It continues . On the end I fed up , and my buissness was not good . So I desided to move the buissness from there . I give Xln new address . They charge me 120 pus vat to change the service only . Plus bill 45 . I adjusted that as well . Again 2 month no one came to provide me services . Giving me next month date , then next month . So I decided to leave Xln . 3 month ago I call them , that I frustrated from your services please remove and close my account . Then the show begins . They told me I have to pay 199 plus vat for early termination. Then I told them what about the agent had give me deal without no fee . They refused that we didnot give you any thing in written . We did not know that person. I call him he said I m no longer in work with Xln . So , I agreed with 199plus vat to get rid from this bullshit company . But all the drama from this company not finish yet . Next month again 45 cut from my account . I call them that I removed the service . Same thing. Apology , credit , letter, then I received the call from Xln , you had fill the form wrong You had put the date on the form as 2028 can I have the permission to change it as 2025 . I said okay . After that 2 months passed , they every month deduct from my account 45 pound that is bill , vat and insurance that I never requested. Means I had paid to them 120 pound account destination changed , that they are not refunding me , every month 45 month that include insurance without my permission , and the interesting thing is that , I m paying alll these without any buissnesss . I don’t have any buissness but stilll I m paying . They are totally fraud , scammers , please please read peoples genuine reviews in negatives that I should do but I didn’t . I m stressed , called everyday , but no one is helping me . I had talked to my solicitor now and they will help me because this company is not going to help me anymore .

Currently in a dispute with them…

Currently in a dispute with them regarding the shocking (lack of) service they have provided my partner's business. Interaction with certain of their online agents was frankly shocking. She has currently been without phone coverage for nearly a month and we find ourselves in a Kafkaesque wrangle. Despite this total lack of the service we pay for we were told that we can not cancel the contract without penalty. I intend to contest this, if necessarily legally.

They charged me £84.60 for 6 months and…

They charged me £84.60 for 6 months and then called today saying their fee is £30. Liars, definitely stay away from them. The internet is poor quality and doesn't work; you complain repeatedly but they don't fix it. This is the worst internet in the UK.

Stay away from these scammers they came…

Stay away from these scammers they came to my shop they guaranteed that they will only charge £21 for internet after I signed with them for 2 years contract they told me I cannot cancel it and every month they charged me over £80 unbelievable after 2 years they took all my money please stay away from this dodgy company

I am extremely disappointed with my…

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with XLN. In November, I received a cancellation email from BT informing me that a new order had been placed on my line by XLN—an order I never requested. I contacted XLN immediately and was assured the order would be cancelled. Despite this, on 2nd December I discovered—only after one of my tenants informed me the internet was down—that my line had again been taken over by XLN without my authorisation.

Since then, I have contacted XLN multiple times, yet every time I’m told that the issue is BT’s responsibility. This is despite the fact that it was XLN who initiated both unauthorised takeovers. At one point, I was even given a “code for the line” and told to pass it on to BT. When I did, BT confirmed that they had no idea why XLN would instruct me to do this and clearly stated that the takeover request had come from XLN’s side.

This entire situation has caused significant disruption: I’ve been left with no internet access, and my tenants have experienced ongoing inconvenience and frustration. It is unacceptable that XLN can repeatedly take over broadband lines from other providers without carrying out proper checks or obtaining the required authorisation.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend XLN. Their actions have shown a complete lack of accountability, poor communication, and disregard for the impact on customers.

11/12/2025 I would now like to add that XLN have replied to me with the following;

"Thank you for providing further details. However we have reviewed the details provided and are unable to locate any live services from recent times so unable to review this further"

I have repeatedly made it clear that I am not an XLN customer. Their organisation took over my broadband line from BT (my actual provider) without conducting the necessary checks. This further demonstrates their lack of competence, as they are unable to properly understand a complaint or follow the correct protocols.

Watch out with this company

Watch out with this company. I've just had £6.37 charge ddded to my account for business assurance services. Apprently it's an insurance in case an engineer has to be called out for an internal problem. And get get this, you have to opt out of it. So they add it on without your permission and you have to opt out. Talk about sneaky buisness practices. Oh and their broadband is slow and their wifi router doesn't reach most of the premises, Ive had to invest in extenders. I wish I had never gone with this company.

They have added extra charges saying for business assurance even though I told them not to add it and later added some other charges with out letting us know.

Had upgarded from copper to full fibre…

Had upgarded from copper to full fibre by xln. Didnt beleive a word Sales rep said about no hidden costs as had worst previous experience. Same thing happen, the day of installation openreach said they didnt know had to install a new line. They ran the line when challenged but didnt go live. Later next day xln demanding another £438 + vat for lines to go live as advanced charge on top of original cost of engineer visit of £225 + vat for 2 lines. Also their own team member denied thaf £225 cost was engineer visit cost as mentioned by sales person at the time of selling these lines. Said it was just our adminitrative charges by xln.
Launched a complaint and when i called them today to check on update after putting me on hold for 10 minutes just cut the call off as they literally have no answers. Most pathetic customer service and more like a group of scammers.

Doubled prices as out of contract

Been with XLN for over 10 years, no real issues; however, they have been taken over by Daisy, whoever they are. Apparently, we are out of contract, so our two broadband lines have increased from £125 per month to £250 per month. Customer service pointed me to a clause on page two of a bill from two months ago that mentioned the contract was ending, with no mention of prices doubling. I guess that is their way of rewarding loyalty. I have now initiated the switch; I think they will be all over me, asking why and trying to persuade me to stay. Too late!!!

XLN adds new charges even after payment…

XLN adds new charges even after payment and an open complaint

We paid our outstanding balance immediately today, yet XLN has now issued a brand new invoice with more incorrect charges.
£10 “Failed Direct Debit”, £7.95 “Processing Fee”, plus threats of late fees — all caused by XLN’s own faulty systems, not us.

This happened while we have an active complaint open and an ownership transfer in progress.
We had our service cut off over £10, now new charges appear from nowhere.

No other company behaves like this.
We’ve had nothing but stress, confusion and repeated billing errors.

We have submitted a new complaint and will escalate to the Ombudsman if needed.

This company needs urgent investigation.

Absolutely useless

Absolutely useless, my late father's had them set up a line at an industrial unit and its never worked, only after his passing have i realised he was still paying for it, have spend hours on hold trying to talk to their customer services but never got through, so the bank account closed after dad's death bit now they are sending debt collectors threats, have given them the cemetery details but they still keep calling

Avoid like the plague

Messed up our internet, left us with no business phone line for over a month, charged me excessively to get out of my contract despite it not working and 6 months later, I've just had an email from a debt collection agency because they didn't cancel my old service! it's cost me an absolute fortune!!

Despite contacting me re: the response below, I'm still no better off!

Accepted no responsibility for their mistake and offered no acceptable resolution

Initially the start was good.... BUT !!

Initially the start was good, everything installed and working as it should. However, the bill had a discrepancy that contradicted the initial invoice, when i queried it with the advisor over the phone he effectively lied about what it related to despite it being in black and white on the paperwork, then they try and charge an admin fee because a direct debit was not set up at the time the install was booked, I paid what was ACTUALLY owing, i have had a reminder for the wrong amount, the website says a different figure, and another admin fee despite my having paid what i legally believe i owe, the web chat is useless, you spend at least 30 minutes on hold trying to speak to someone, so their admin is AWFUL. Sort Yourselves Out !!

Absolutely terrible company mis sold to…

Absolutely terrible company mis sold to me couldn't then move my cloud number, never anyone to answer phone when you call them, cost me alot of money as had to keep paying to keep my business number live and working. Had to pay XLN and BT for a year. Very poor service the worst I have ever expirienced and they still send me an email saying I owe them money ?????
