Purchase is broken

Purchase is broken
We ordered a sliding pvc door from them, everything went fine in terms of delivery but we were busy and did not look at the door at all until couple of weeks we opened it to set it up. We found out that one side of it had a crack from one end to the other and you couldn’t see it before setting up, because there was no sign of cracking, usually a broken glass from external force will have a point of fracture and the cracks will begin from that point but its obvious with this crack that it is a defect of the product.

Bram from customer service told us there is nothing he could do because we should have reported the problem within 48 hours, and they will not do anything to fix it or replace the broken glass.

The problem here is that this is not something that insurance would fix either and bringing a local glass person to fix it would cost around €800 if not more, the sliding door itself is worth € 850. Its better to not purchase from them and just pay to get something properly and professionally done rather having to fix things.

We do understand that it was our fault that we didn’t check the product when it arrived and we were very chill about it thinking” oh they are a big company and of course they will replace their broken products” but no, that was not the case.
