Second caravan from Yorkshire caravan
We bought a new caravan last year which we later decided wasn’t right for us. We found something more suitable and agreed a trade‑in price, handed our caravan in, and arranged a handover date for the new one.
The first handover didn’t go to plan. The caravan wasn’t ready, and after waiting an hour just to see it, we eventually had to leave by the second hour. There were repairs outstanding and some parts missed during the valet. The following week was also challenging due to delays and miscommunication, but on the second booking everything went smoothly.
The second handover was carried out by Sarah, who was absolutely wonderful. She talked us through everything clearly and had a lot of personal knowledge about caravanning, which made a real difference.
Our salesperson, Debbie, made sure that after the issues with the first handover, things were put right the second time, including offering compensation.
We appreciate that not everything can go perfectly all the time, and it’s often in these moments that a company shows its true colours. Overall, despite the bumps along the way, we would say this turned out to be a good experience.
