Initial response:
Whilst the service was very good for delivering the goods the process for returns, especially to a ‘marketplace’ supplier, just hits a brick wall. No responsibility seemingly taken by Decathalon and no sign of refund despite goods being returned by recorded delivery.
Update:
Following Xmas period the team at Decathlon investigated the issue and resolved it in short order.
Normal excellent service resumed.

The airlines can side step any ability for the regulator to act on complaints.
If the airline accepts a complaint then makes no move to act on their findings and provide remediation, the CAA will not act.
Simple for the airlines then, take the regulator out of the equation by accepting a complaint and just continue your poor treatment of the customer.
Please get your act together CAA and shut this loophole.

Terrible customer service. Cancelled our flights and paid over £300 in fees for the privilege so that we could get a cash refund rather than credit.
Two months later and no refund.
Shocking treatment would not be allowed in any other industry.
After formal complaint we were told we would get a refund in 10days, 20 days later and no sign of funds - with their accounting team apparently!
Total silence from most recent communications.
Absolutely shocking.
New technique - Wizz will ask for missing information but not let you know what this is.
If you reply and ask what is needed they reply that nothing is needed.
3 weeks later same request for missing info.
Another month without my money back.
And you can not complain to the toothless regulator because Wizz have accepted the complaint.
Unbelievable that this can happen.
