I ordered a new grinder yesterday so not a small parcel. I was told it should arrive up to 2 days later, but it arrived today almost exactly 24 hrs later and a free delivery. Very impressed.
I have previously bee pleased with purchases from Seasalt but my latest attempt has been very disappointing. I ordered a dress 30th Nov. the money left my account on 1st Dec. A couple of days later I had a message to say they had none in their warehouse but it would be sent from one of their stores. Nothing arrived. As I had ordered the dress for two occasions which were now close I tried to contact the company 10 days later. I had no success either by email or phone for several days. On 18th the phone lines were working but the gentleman could find no record of my email address or order which was worrying. I tried again today 19th and a very helpful lady found both but told me the order had been cancelled on the 14th because it had taken too long!!! The money had been refunded to my account but there had been no message from the company to let me know this had happened which I consider very inconsiderate. I have spent 3 weeks anticipating and making arrangements for a delivery. I would have had a week extra to look for an alternative if you had let me know about the cancellation. I am now out of time and opportunity to do so. Adding insult to injury the dress is still shown on the website and available in the colour and size that I ordered. You need to do better than this!
