Game changer

We have been struggling for years to find a food that our fussy cat would eat. We would go through a constant cycle of finding a food he liked and would suddenly not like any more. He had also started to lose weight and was constantly pestering us for food, eating a couple of mouthfuls, or just licking the gravy and leaving the meat, and then walking away. He would also regularly vomit and I won't even go into details of how bad his litter tray smelled..
It took a few days of trial and error for him to get accustomed to KatKin, but he now absolutely loves it and always finishes the entire bowl. His weight has increased, he has much more energy, is taking better care of grooming and generally seems happier and healthier. No more vomiting or smelly litter tray! We would never go back to regular cat food brands!

Excellent experience with my first order

Very happy with my first order from Icewear (having visited their store in Reykjavik and regretted not buying anything while I was there). My order was received extraordinarily quickly, considering getting anything delivered from outside the UK seems to be a massive hassle nowadays, and I didn't feel that their shipping charges were too unreasonable.
The quality of the hoodie I ordered seems very good and the sizing was exactly as I expected, after using the detailed sizing information on the website.
I will definitely be placing further orders through the website in future, at least until I'm able to return to Iceland and buy in store!

Review of Go Car Rental Iceland Keflavik Airport

Great car rental experience

Had a great experience with Go Car Rental this week. The rental cost was significantly lower than any of the "mainstream" car rental firms were quoting and I appreciated the reassurance of being able to reduce the insurance excess to zero for a relatively minimal cost. The car was a little older than you would normally get from a hire company, but I did choose their cheapest available option and it proved comfortable and reliable throughout our trip. The customer service from the team at the office in Keflavik was exceptional and I sincerely appreciated the detailed advice they offered on driving in Iceland when we collected the car.
I wouldn't hesitate to use Go Car Rental again, next time we're in Iceland.

Review of Heath Electrical Services

Highly recommended

I have always struggled with finding a reliable electrician in the past - I don't know why I didn't just go straight to Heath Electrical Services!
James fitted a new extractor unit for us today - he was very professional throughout the job and completed the work quickly and tidily. It's also been stress free dealing with the office team to arrange the appointment and make payment. Received excellent updates by text and email throughout the process.
I would not hesitate to use Heath again in future and will be recommending to everyone I know locally.

All round good service

Good experience buying a new floor for our hall, from the Bletchley branch. There was a small mix-up with the initial order, but Luke really quickly corrected it for us and Luke also went above and beyond helping to sort out a last minute change to the flooring that we wanted.
Also a top class service from Brian and Dan with the fitting (which was really not too expensive at all). A great end result.
For some reason Carpetright seems to have a bit of a bad reputation when you mention it to other people (which is odd, because I found them to be very helpful and welcoming compared to the staff in Tapi, who basically just ignored me for 10 minutes and let me walk out without so much as a "Hello"). I would not hesitate to use them again for any future flooring requirements and have already recommended to others.

Highly recommend!

Michelle, Megan and Courtney, in Milton Keynes, are amazing! I wouldn't trust anyone else to look after our cat while we're away.
He's very nervous, but when we return home from a trip he is so much calmer and happier than he used to be, when using other cat-sitting services. I especially appreciate the daily updates by WhatsApp.
Seriously, I cannot recommend them highly enough and I would not go back to any of the other cat-sitting services we have used in the past.

Review of Crabtree Property Management

Unresponsive and unhelpful

Due to Crabtree’s obsession with supposedly “keeping costs low” (even though our monthly maintenance charges are extremely high) everything on our development looks a bit scruffy, tired and run down. The most basic maintenance issues take an age to resolve and require constant chasing.
Cleaning and gardening seem to be carried out to the absolute minimum standard possible (again, “apparently” in the interests of keeping costs low). The disintegrating planters full of dead shrubs and weeds at the entrance to the development and never ending issues with fly tipping in and around the bin stores pretty much set the tone.
In 7 years we haven’t had a single leaseholders meeting or AGM and who has any clue who the directors of our development are. They certainly never communicate with any of the leaseholders.
The real icing on the cake is the total lack of any form of official updates or communication FOUR MONTHS after announcing that the development has failed the EWS1 survey. I totally understand it’s a long and complicated process to secure funding, surveyors, contractors etc, but really, is it too much to ask to receive an occasional letter keeping us up to date, or reassuring us that it’s still being worked on? I honestly don’t think Crabtree has any clue how much stress and upset the situation is causing the residents. Or maybe they simply don’t care.
As a fee paying customer of a company that is supposed to be serving the interests of the leaseholders, I can honestly say that I feel like every time I try to engage with Crabtree I'm just an inconvenience to be fobbed off as quickly as possible with excuses and empty promises.
For any future property purchase if I found out that Crabtree was the managing agent I would walk away.

Review of Concepto Clinic

Fit to Fly PCR test

Quick, efficient and friendly service at the Milton Keynes clinic. The results came back well ahead of the expected time.

Would definitely recommend and will be using Concepto for any future travel requirements.
