Had to change my car recently mid-term (due to mechanical failure) and now at renewal my insurance has rockeded. Searched on-line for a better deal and was delighted to find that the AA could save me quite a bit of money even with roadside rescue included. There were cheaper options but I was looking for an insurer I could rely on and who were not going to look for more money at a later date through hidden costs.

Impressed that I placed an order for a small item on a Friday, received a response almost immediately asking for confirmation of the vehicle, to which I replied and it was delivered the next day (Saturday).

Arrived at fitting depot at agreed time to find that the ordered tyres had not been delivered!

Contacted Blackcircles on line (no phone number appeared available) and eventually corresponded on-line with a real person who investigated and arranged a suitable new appointment while I was still on line.

I chased this up the day before the new appointment, for confirmation that the tyres had been delivered, which they had.

The people at the fitting depot were very friendly, welcoming and appeared efficient. The tyres were fitted along with new valves and balancing along with making sure that the pressures were correct and the wheel nuts were torqued to the correct figure. I have checked the torque, as recommended after 50 miles, and it is correct.

Overall I am pleased with the service. I have always believed the best way to judge an organisation / business is on the way they handle things when they go wrong and in this case they passed with flying colours!!! My only gripe is that they used an "airgun" to do up the locking wheel nuts (which have a logo on them showing that they should only be tightened by hand). Hence 4 out of 5 stars.
