"I paid extra to have it delivered to my bedroom, but the delivery person initially refused to carry it up because my flat does not have a lift —even though I explicitly noted two flights of stairs on the form and there was no lift. Essentially, the delivery person was refusing to deliver my bed. I had to negotiate with him to get it delivered.
Luckily, he did agree to deliver it in the end.

They bent the plug on the new fridge…
They bent the plug on the new fridge and spent 20 mins trying to straighten it out and then I paid for removal of my old fridge but they left all the shelves and the big bottom draw in the garden for me to have to dispose of. I didn't pay £35 so I can have to take a run to the tip myself

Delivery was available on weekends and I was informed of my time slot I could track my parcel easily on the delivery website. My old broken unit was taken away. Driver was friendly and delivered the parcel right to my door.

I appreciate you responding as it gives me a chance to explain from my perspective, especially since I called your customer number yesterday only to be told that you were too busy to take my call and I was cut off.
You delivered the base of the bed on 1st August - no problem. The rest of the bed, headboard & mattress were to be delivered on the 3rd and included in my order and paid for was disposal of old bed & assembly of new one. You refused to complete the latter yesterday, You would not take the old base but wanted to leave me with a loose headboard and mattress, thus the bed in 3 separate bits. What did you expect me to do? I am 75 and in poor health currently on chemotherapy as I explained to you. While not your problem, to show a little kindness & understanding would not have gone amiss. I needed a bed to sleep & rest.
Having spoken to Costco several times yesterday who were very helpful it appears that the issue lies with your logistics. The reason you did not want to take the base was that you had no room in your van. OK, problems arise but lets see how we can resolve it. I offered what I thought was a very reasonable solution. Take the base downstairs, I'd keep it for a bit, sort it out later and this would have enabled you to assemble the new bed, job done. You refused and just wanted to leave me with 3 bed bits as above.
At no stage did you or anyone warn or explain to me that to take delivery of my order on separate occasions would result in the job not been completed.
I did not appreciate being told to contact the manufacturer of the mattress, this contravenes the consumer rights act in that my contract was with Costco.
Anyways, at the end of the day you wasted an hour of my time & yours to no avail as I gave you a solution that was acceptable to me.
I was left frustrated & distressed.
You are due to come again tomorrow so please confirm that the job will be completed & we don't have a repeat situation.
