High quality, easy to operate but expensive
Having only alarm system (no cams) experience of Ajax, I recommend it as a well thought and engineered system. Easy to start and use even for non profs. Good security features eg how to mitigate radiofreq jamming. Biggest down side is the very high pricelevel of simple smoke or door sensors, etc

Ajax security system - great support
Installed the Ajax security system and cameras. Usability is great, but when I needed help the support team were excellent. Too many off the shelf items don’t have the after sales support. Ajax seem to have that sorted out.

5 year battery life nonsense.
Battery to Street Siren died after 2 years, no alarms, Uk temperatures, Ajax denied liability, 5 years life was a best scenario, load of rubbish. Not our problem sort it yourself.

We are sorry that the battery life of our sirens was the main reason for your negative review.
We would like to point out that the discharge of the supplied batteries may be due to several factors:
- The interval between device polls
- Ambient temperature
- Jeweller signal strength
- Frequency and duration of alarms
- Use of LED indicators
Actual battery performance may differ from the manufacturer’s specifications. Even batteries from the same batch may have different capacities, output voltages, or may be defective. That is why 100% of batteries are tested before being installed in Ajax devices.
We would also like to note that a flat battery does not indicate a fault with the device. This is a consumable item and can be replaced by the user. That is why our support team engineers have provided you with instructions on how to replace the batteries.
Ajax is a manufacturer of equipment and does not provide maintenance for systems installed on-site. If you need your batteries replaced, please contact your installer.
