Great intermediary service. They have pretty much everything i need and normally at a good price.

I've had to return a couple of items recently. Amazon sent me a code for the staff at the sorting office to scan. All good so far but once I'd handed my parcel over I stood around waiting for a receipt only to be told I wouldn't be getting one. Surely if the item is scanned into the system digital receipt could be generated ? I did get my money refunded after a few days but if the parcel had gone astray I'd have had no way of proving I sent it.

Recently a freind of mine had his Ford Transit work van broken into and tools stolen. The van was entered through the side door without any damage, the theives obviously used what is known as a 'tebbie key' this is a device used by locksmiths to enter any Ford vehicle, do a asearch and you will see what this device is, basically a lock pick. Now for the reason of the above. Amazon are freely selling these tebbie keys on their site and as such are supplying a device that can be used by criminals to gain entry to locked vehicles. On speaking to an Amazon representative she said that they (Amazon) cannot be held responsible for items they sell on behalf of third parties, l suggested that they are responsible (as are the tthird party) as they are supplying an item that aids and abets criminals. I believe that in Ireland there is a Law being introduced whereupon anyone that buys one of these has to be licensed and registered to own one. Amazon has a 'we don't care' attitude in the sale of this device. So all you Ford owners out there, make sure your Ford is adequately secured and protected

I was very happy with amazon and ordered most things there even though they were more expensive: just to have a peace of mind and hassle free return. Until now everything was fine. But I have ordered a rotary watch as a Christmas present. It didn't work so I contacted them and they promised to send a replacement. So they did. But it did not work as well. So another replacement. Third watch arrived and again same story. It didn't work. After the second one I got a message from Amazon reassuring me that it will not happen again, sorry etc. But they sent another faulty watch. I sent the third one back and decided to post review describing everything as here. But they didn't publish it as apparently it was against their rules. So the rule must be : nothing negative about amazon. So be careful when you order watches. It might be just dead battery. But three out of three didn't work.

I was charged for two movies that I had not ordered so I emailed them only to have my email returned saying they did not use that service. I tried their advertised phone number only to be given the message that they no longer used that service I tried their online help. There is nowhere in their algorithm to chose 'I did not order this'. The nearest thing was a vague reference to stuff being ordered by mistake or other members of the household. I live alone and the said movies would not be to my liking!
I have cancelled my Prime subscription and as soon as I see that they have refunded my balance I shall close my account.

These people are the best.
Always on time always helped me if I had issues with the sellers, absolutely amazing and have no complaints at all.
I use them for the past 2years always buy everything I need and always treated with respect.

I bought a tablet for my wife for Xmas it arrived in time which was good. However the box arrived bashed and the actual tablet is awful turns on and off and is so slow. my wife is incredibly disappointed as you can imagine, as am i! I have been advised by Amazon that i cannot have a replacement alternative tablet and i cannot have a refund as it was via a third party. Twitter will also be receiving my comments.

I think bad reports to Amazon UK are unfounded in many cases. I have had some excellent products from them or their sponsored companies, and yes, I have had some bad ones. BUT Amazon cannot be held totally responsible for cowboys out there and have always been excellent with their customer services and replacements/refunds. Although I have had some bad experiences, I like the way Amazon UK work, and will continue to trust them to deliver (which is damned quick) or help me if a problem. Thank You Amazon customer services.

Ordered several items with delivery from america, all came on time, no damage etc.
Process was pretty straight forward via the app. Arrived a day early at my designated collection point.

I have had trouble with Amazon orders in the past.This time ordered 3 Christmas presents 30/11/18 to give them plenty of time to deliver. They emailed to say my items would be 'Here Today' on the 3rd December, waited in all day nothing. Waited in all the next day nothing, no email or Text or phone call to say the was a problem. Searched to find the tracking information and it said my package had been damaged at 4:30pm 3/12/18 and was returned to the depot. Days later they emailed to tell me and said if I wanted the goods I would have to reorder them again, they cancelled the order, and then said they would pay my money back in seven days, so they keep your money so you have to buy the same items from else were, no apology ABSOLUTE SHAMBLES.

Amazon Prime is worth every penny! Amazon UK offer a simple and direct online store and are a major threat to retail high street stores, as they allow people to shop in the comfort of their home via the internet.
They have a huge warehouse (in Scotland I believe) and give the best prices on virtually any product you can buy new anywhere. they do also sell some used items, but the new ones are their main trade.
Having a Prime account is a must - it allows next day courier delivery for FREE!! This is amazing value considering you can buy items from around £4 and receive it tomorrow. Prime also allows access to all Amazon videos which are in the thousands, lots of music, kindle and book catergories.
They deal with complaints immediately giving decent compensation or full no quibble refund and easy return services.
Despite some negative remarks from vested interests in the media and trade unions, having a giant company like Amazon freely trading in the UK is a boon to every customer and I highly recommend everyone to get a Prime account.

it was hard to contact their fraud customer services had to google it me i have had so much goodness from ebay i would recommend it they have a 60 second call back and i keep reporting sellers from china saying in uk and other problems ebay takes immediate action or get reply from ebay,i send message to whoever sent me email from ebay for old problem with new problems and boom get reply back just loving it with ebay i would recommend them compared to amazon services at the moment by a million to 1 i hope amazon can have the same standard, sellers you get allsorts problems happen but its how it is handled that matters

Made an order for more than 500 pounds and was given an estimated delivery time of dec 7-19. Contacted them on Dec 20 to complain about the fact that my items didn't arrive and was told that this is normal and I should wait until jan 29th! I made this order on November 30th and there was no mention that it would have taken 2 whole months to have my items!! All items are sold, processed and shipped by amazon and I am a prime member as well. I will be cancelling my prime membership and I strongly advice everyone to avoid amazon as it's just not reliable anymore.

Incompetent! The Amazon logistics driver who drove to my property is completely un trustworthy. At least he stopped outside my property, didn't get out of the Van, drove off and then sent a message saying "Attempted Delivery"
There was no attempt made what so ever.
The driver is a liar and drove away, down a one way street, the wrong way. Good drills, NOT!
