Their customer service are morons, all of them don’t understand what you talking about and the other thinking you talking about something else. Because I phone up as I want to login to my account as I usually use my Samsung phone but I had my iPod as my phone gone to get unlocked, so I spoke to this women and said that I want to get verification code or authentication for my account so I can access from my iPod because my phone not with me and no brain cell amazon agent thinks I’m talking about my apple ipod and I should contact apple but I’m not that stupid I know if i want to my apple account I tell apple but if I spoke to amazon I’m referring my amazon account, though I said I rang up about getting access my amazon account for my iPod and she did not tell have you got an a amazon account and if she said so I would say yes making it easier but that why I can’t be ask to contact them there service is so poor and they need to get English staff or make sure there staff get communication high quilifications skills because you be speaking to morons.
Appalling delivery for prime members
The driver was delivering packages around my house and I was supposed to be next when suddenly I get a notification saying attempted delivery, we will try to deliver on the next working day.
This is obviously a lie since I was home waiting for him. They just employ lazy drivers!
What's the point in paying for prime to get a delivery planned when you're home if they never deliver on the arranged day?!!!
STEER CLEAR OF THIS MULTI NATIONAL…
STEER CLEAR OF THIS MULTI NATIONAL COMPANY WHO WILL BILL YOU FOR SERVICES YOU DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO! MY AMAZON ACCOUNT HAS BEEN HACKED!!!
MY Amazon.co.uk ACCOUNT HAS BEEN HACKED!!!! [24/11/2018] Had it not been noticed within 15 mins there would have been 8 orders in transit. They also signed me up to Amazon Prime. There have also been 5 bogus reviews put online of which 4 relate to sellers registered in China. Been using Amazon for 15+ years and only had a few delivery issues (i.e damaged/ not received). I managed to cancel 6 orders, but too late for the remaining 2 orders that already had a dispatched status.
I managed to get Amazon to ring me ( when I finally found their contact details - not easy). When talking to the customer services agent about the main fact that my account has been hacked at no point did he suggest that I change my email address on the account nor use the 2 step authentication additional security available through Amazon. He did advise that I reject delivery of the orders and would contact me on 27/11/18 about returning any of the orders that may have been left with a neighbour. The subsequent email received was primarily about "If a parcel hasn't arrived by your estimated delivery date". I asked what action /investigation Amazon will take as a result of the fraudulent use of an account, but the agent was evasive an kept replying that a follow up email will be sent providing details of the next steps. Amazon are completely ignoring the issue that an account has been hacked, fraudulent orders and bogus reviews made from my Amazon account.
When these issues have been resolved I will close my Amazon account!
Good experience.
amazon warehouse gamble
yet again amazon warehouse items miss described, ordered two monitors in the same week both described in as new condition, one missing base cables screwed up and covered in dirt and finger prints, second one arrived today with large scratch and dents again covered in just and finger prints, this constantly happens Amazon customer service say the with escalate and it won't happen again every time, but it always does,
Amazon state all warehouse items are inspected and descriptions accurate but very rarely are, trading standards should be looking at this,
I have to return over 50% of the items I order due to this, but they have become a last option for us now, it shouldn't be a gamble if you'll get the items you order or not
Delivery issue but quick resolution
Book damaged by delivery staff trying to force via letterbox, however matter resolved very quickly with Amazon in a few minutes using web chat facility. Great resolution to the issue.
Amazon are ALWAYS consistently great
Amazon are ALWAYS consistently great, they look after you as a customer completely ALWAYS, they take care, they listen to you, they help, they are absolutely brilliant! Amazon along with O2 and Plusnet are by far the BEST UK customer services which is why they're so successful (with Plusnet constantly growing due to this and having fantastic customer service). You don't have to worry with Amazon at all cause even if the company or seller are treating you bad (which many do as we know) Amazon will always help out and do what's right for you, even if it means doing this themselves.
Epson caused me a load of loss with inks, media and photo paper due to a printer that wasn't very good and Amazon kindly credited me for that (which they didn't have to do), I had a seller who refused to cover an item which had faded way too fast as it had been so long before it got to the point where I noticed it wasn't right (which I understand if it's been left a while) and Amazon credited that, they're just GREAT so if you want to buy anything from anywhere look to Amazon and they will always look after you!
I've purchased for over 15 years now and they've always been absolutely spot on, one of the best companies in the UK by far!

Customer service is awful
My father living in Sweden, I sent from Amazon UK present to him and it's was stolen. Indian support just awful, they need police report in English from Sweden!!! I spoke with police in Sweden and they told me that they don't have optione to provide police report in English. My father received police report in Swedish but Indian support on Amazon write that "report not valid" I am rethinking my decision on having Amazon because of the way that I was treated. If I am to be treated like this as a new customer already after less than a week then I do not know how I would feel if I were to have the Amazon Prime service for months or years.

The worst online company I have ever used. Customer service is awful. Have used a lot. First ever return request was a nightmare. Gave up in the end. Will never use again.
Yet another failed delivery by an…
Yet another failed delivery by an Amazon (incompetent) delivery driver.
Instead of driving to my address at the end of a dead end lane (Rectory Lane) the driver drove to my neighbors address at the end of a parallel dead end lane (off of Boynton Court Road) and peeped his horn the other side of a seven foot high fence.
I then received an Amazon update 'failed delivery'.
Diabolical, why do they not go to the address on the package (i.e. Rectory Lane) what is WRONG with these people?
Excellent customer service
The best customer service I have ever had from an on-line retailer, always quick to resolve any issues, no quibble refunds or replacements (if available).
Only issue I have is that they boast about next day delivery for Prime members, but I have experienced that this is often not the case.
Dreadful aftercare customer service
If you buy something, it arrives...but you expect that from any big shop. The problem I have is when you encounter an issue. If you manage to find how to contact them, and eventually get to speak to someone, the customer service skills are dreadful, worse than any company I know. I have had three data security issues that have not been dealt with appropriately. Just get my account frozen, valid orders cancelled, money not returned to me, nobody letting me know what has happened.....over and over. I am owed money by Amazon, but they just say "don't worry sir, I will sort this personally and get back to you, trust me"......nobody ever gets back to me. They have apologised many times, explaining that "they don't know why this has happened", offered me compensation, but it's an empty apology because the compensation never arrives and it happens again. I have called, emailed, used their message center. All useless. Obviously, I am cancelling my account.
Ordered piano books
Ordered piano books, came as expected with prime. Packed great and put in my safe place as asked. E-Mail confirmed delivery so was expecting in safe place when I got indoors and it was. Cannot fault.
Unreliable deliveries with Prime
Deliveries are becoming increasingly unreliable. You've almost come to expect it around Christmas but now delays can be at any time. I ordered an item on Sunday using Prime next day delivery. I was told the item would come on Tuesday (the order was made late on Sunday, so fair enough). Yesterday I was told there was a delay and it would come on Wednesday. Later that day I was told I should have the item by November 13th! Not good enough. Amazon need to tell you the correct delivery date before you order. I don't mind one day's delay but enough is enough. I have cancelled the order and gone to Argos. Wish I'd done that in the first place.

I am fed up with late or no deliveries!! Two toothbrushes bought and I found them at my sorting office - no note from Amazon!!
We should learn to do without Amazon
I use Amazon a lot and before it was eBay but now I am going to close both accounts because I can get better deals elsewhere. Amazon are very good for deliveries but like eBay now they are using more and more Chinese sellers. Some Chinese sellers are really good with quality items but many of them are like eBay rubbish.
I have used Amazon for over 10 years now and they have now banned me from writing reviews. The only reason I can think of them banning me is that I tell the truth and telling the truth about some of the items that are no good is of course not good for Amazon so they decided to ban me from reviewing. I have the same problems with eBay but that is another review I need to do on here.
I pay monthly for my Prime and I cannot fault the delivery service but I am sending a lot of stuff back now once arrived as it is Chinese junk.
I am not saying everything is junk from China but a lot of it is.
Obviously Amazon (like eBay) make an awful lot of money from the Chinese but if anything goes wrong it is a nightmare to get a replacement for a faulty item because they charge you for returning.
So if you really must shop on Amazon then think twice and shop around too.
It is only in the last year or two they have been taking on Chinese sellers and 90% sell on eBay too but just check both sites before you buy.
One little gripe I have is sometimes you see something that says "free delivery" but if you want it earlier then you use the next day service. Then when you put it in your basket and check out you will find the free delivery takes 4 weeks from China, however if you want the item next day (and this is for something costing £1.50) it will cost you £24 or more for postage.
To me that is a con and a rip off yet Amazon get away with it because nobody on this earth will ever fight them or sue them. They have grown too big now and we can do without it and start shopping in the high streets again. Let us start to look after our bodies and do some walking around shopping malls and the likes. What is this world coming to?
My accounts on Amazon and eBay will be canceled today.
Do not trust Amazon
Do not believe Amazon when they offer you more than 1 month free on any of their service's, I did with a 3 months free subscription to the music service and after 1 month they started taking the monthly fee. I did get them to agree a refund but got no explanation of why or even an apology.
It's just another company that does not give a hoot about its customers roll on the day the customer base gets wise and shops elsewhere
Keeps on trying to trick me into…
Keeps on trying to trick me into signing up for Amazon Prime. One time it did trick me and took me 2 hours to cancel it.
These practices should be illegal. I hate Amazon now. Evil. Pure greedy evil.
