Amazon deliberately make returns difficult
Was dumped on by Socksmad who sent me a thermal vest when I had ordered cotton. Both website & delivery note said vest was cotton.
Delivery note was apparently written by Amazon as it began "Thanks for buying on Amazon Marketplace."
But it gave incomplete instructions on how to return item. Didn't say I had to begin by requesting to return item. I followed incomplete instructions on Amazon website & it let me believe it had gone through. When seller didn't contact me started again.
Obviously Amazon is being deliberately opaque so as to discourage returns. I appreciate that sellers dislike returns but they are inflicting frustration on customers. I'll avoid in future.
Amazon is taking over the world
Amazon is taking over the world. A lot of people blame Amazon for delivery problems but the couriers are to blame. I complained about a courier in my area a long time ago and they blocked using them for my entire area for a couple of years!
Their live support has always been up-beat and helpful. Always going the extra mile.
Useless company buch of idiots.

Amazon is losing the trust of it's customers. Pedalling far too much garbage from 3rd party sellers. Once something goes wrong, they take no responsibility & the experience becomes time consuming, costly & ultimately costs them loyal customers.
This is most awful service i ever had
This is most awful service i ever had, awful delivery services, awful customer support.Lie to customers, steal money from customers, block balances and accounts, post automated emails and never work personally.
Most reach company in the world and most bad service.

AVOID!!!
Amazon does not abide by UK laws
Amazon does not abide by UK laws. Buyer Beware!!! I bought an expensive Garmin Satnav for my motorcycle which failed a few days outside of the warranty due to a faulty wiring harness supplied with it. Our carefully planned Portugal road trip was ruined because of it too. The Garmin has been used for under 6 weeks in total since new but this doesn't matter to Amazon. Customer Service has been a disaster from the start with rude arrogant chat conversations, one with someone who clearly has a poor understanding of English language. Trading Standards advised me that as the unit was not of 'Satisfactory Quality' Amazon is responsible for free repair or replacement for up to 6 years from the date of purchase. Despite pointing this out several times to Amazon they have decided to ignore UK law and advised me that they are not interested. You have been warned!!!!!
Disgusting Customer Service!
Stay well away from Amazon! Shocking digusting customer service. Asked to cancel an order before item was dispatched. Received an email from amazon saying item been cancelled. Next day received an email saying item been dispatched and payments been taken!
I now have to pay return postage for an item i cancelled. Won't be using amazon again!
Amazon customer service is one of the…
Amazon customer service is one of the best and they are quick to resolve any problems that occur and aim to be more on the side of the customer.
Product range is extremely extensive which makes it more competitive between the sellers and organisations alike enabling finding items that have not been over priced.
Makes the shopping experience so much more Hassel free with the confidence your not going to be ripped off by the so many bogus parties that miss advertise fake and low quality products.

I can't fault Amazon it is now my preferred way to purchase 90% of my shopping apart from food. Amazon Prime is magnificent and returns are quick and easy. Most high street retailers will not be able to achieve this level of Customer Service in a million years.
I ordered on Saturday night and my goods arrived on Sunday afternoon!
Epic
Prime is a lovely concept I have rarely seen proof of
It's always fun to get your order in before a set time, so that Prime will deliver the items the next day - only to discover the driver can't find your building, the delivery man rang the doorbell but no one was in, or just simply "it was left in your safe place". Then you call customer services, and they read out the exact same information you just read, remind you to make sure you leave good instructions on how to find your building, please be in when the delivery is expected, and are you SURE you've checked everywhere on your front porch (I live in an apartment block), always ending with "we're terribly sorry, they'll try again tomorrow". Weirdly, when my husband calls, he gets "we'll call the delivery company now and maybe they can turn the driver around".
This happens more for items of higher value and/or larger size, while small and cheap items usually are crammed into the letterbox on the right day, but customer services is consistently condescending and unhelpful. I now just deliver important things to Amazon Lockers.

Very bad experience with Amazon once I bought a laptop and they delivered to a neighbour who not exist in my building. I cannot believe in that because I didn't select the option to delivery for my neighbour. It is a expensive item and they didn't try to delivery directly for me or called, anything.
It wasn't the first time I have problem with missed parcel.

I've been using amazon for over 12 years now and had no issues, always very quick to refund when items fail to arrive and service is as expected.
My only issue is the lack of any way to contact human staff when issue arrise.
THREE so-called ‘attempted deliveries’…
THREE so-called ‘attempted deliveries’ for five differrent orders in the space of a week, despite there being someone home all day.
SIX calls to customer services to listen to the same identical script being read by different individuals.
ONE delivery to my mailbox marked as ‘delivered to your neighbour’
FOUR promises to contact the transport team to rectify this problem with no result.
ONE rogue/lazy/incompetent/ driver destroying my years of faith and trust in Amazon.
THOUSANDS OF POUNDS spent every year with Amazon that will be spent elsewhere if this is not sorted PDQ
ONE worthless amazon prime membership that is failing to live up to expectations..
And this review from someone who LOVED the reliability and service of Amazon.
Sort yourselves out guys. Retrain, assign the driver to other duties, or fire the driver and get to together. One driver is destroying a ton of business for you!
Excellent company
On the rare occasion i have had a problem with anything from Amazon, it has always been resolved better than i could have hoped for. Amazon offer great value and an excellent prime package, well done Amazon, keep up the good work!
Kudos to Amazon
I've posted a number of fully deserved (extremely) negative reviews recently so to balance it up a bit I thought I'd write about Amazon. I'm aware of the controversy regarding tax obligations and other issues but really don't know what's fact and what's fancy. Anyway, that aside, I've been a customer of Amazon from 2006 and have bought many, many items spending a substantial amount of money over the years. About 2 weeks ago I bought an item which arrived damaged so I contacted them around 10.00pm that night to inform them. I received an email straight back to say they would endeavour to reply within 6 hours and apologising for my inconvenience. The next morning I was able to see that they had responded just after 2.00am offering me the option to return the item for replacement, return it for a full refund or to keep it and accept a 50% discount. The damage was such that the discount was more than fair so that's what I settled for. As I said earlier, I've been a customer for 12 years and I can only speak for myself obviously, but I can't say a bad word against them. They are quick to deliver, well/reasonably priced and have always resolved any issues I've had promptly and to my satisfaction.
So, for me anyway, well done Amazon.
Disgraceful, unprofessional, distrustful, incompetent, unhelpful, couldn't care less attitude....
Further to my previous comments (15th September) and experience, I shall not be ordering anything from Amazon ever again. I will also be deleting my account.

Utter shambolic company ..will destroy your high st and then have you by the short and curlys.4 months waiting for a pre order .constant lies and pure idleness about delivery .Very short sighted of UK buyers who claim they love Amazon ....get real ...They avoid taxes and pay peanuts to staff..Unfair advantage to genuine high st stored who have to pay the going rate ...If you want your high st to resemble a subcontinent market then keep buying from Amazon
Ordered Puppy food using Amazon prime…
Ordered Puppy food using Amazon prime now,
Order did not arrive as wasn't on delivery car, can't put it onto another slot only offer refund now without items and money, will not use again and now cancelled all preorders.
Out of pocket with a broken and expensive paperweight
Amazon usually go that extra mile for things, but I have had enough of them selling dodgy equipment when I need something that is going to work for more than a month or two.
Had an AMP and DAC that would fail intermittently and it was horrible to get anything done with them. 2 optical splitters and another AMP and DAC failed completely.
Now after having 4 audio items fail within 3 months is disgusting. I had enough of being reasonable, requested an item be delivered for the following day, as otherwise I am unable to work on anything and after having so many failed items, I didn't consider this a big ask. They would get it to me "fast" but didn't want to say which day. So after spending over £200 on equipment, I am now left waiting 3-5 working days for my money back and have had nothing but time wasted chasing Amazon up about these problems and having to return the items by post office, as the last time I chose for MyHermes to collect something from me, I had waited a week or more and they hadn't collected anything, a date hadn't even been set.
Do not purchase audio equipment from Amazon, as even though some of the items may be from 3rd parties, Amazon should be held responsible for what they allow to be sold and especially if they're the ones of whom are delivering the products.
Never had any problems
Never had any problems, had a question regarding one of my orders and received a quick response. Always very happy with product and service recommend to anyone.
