Items arrive damaged or in one case with BLOOD on it!!!

Items arrive damaged or in one case a duvet arrived absolutely stinking of cigarette smoke because the driver was smoking in the van despite the fact that its now illegal for people to smoke in business vehicles. Amazon said to get a refund I would have to return the item but I had to pay the postage as in their opinion it wasn't damaged(!!)
Have had books arrive squashed, ripped and in one case with BLOOD on it(!!)
Disgusting customer service.

Fed up of trying to click to buy and item and finding out the buy-normally option is tucked out of the way and that the big yellow option or one that looks multi-option is actually Amazon Prime. Dont want to use it yet? Tough luck! Want to back up? No sorry cancel only! Hope you enjoyed your trial! Next trial is a week only and costs ya!

Great

So far, so good. They use excessive packaging sometimes, but otherwise, great.

I no longer use Amazon

I purchased goods from a MarketPlace Seller which arrived damaged. After 3 months of emailing and phoning the seller and Amazon, I finally received a replacement.

The market place seller took no interest and accepted no responsibility for the replacement of the damaged item and on turning to Amazon for support, was given the run around. Their market place seller guarantee is worthless.

As I say, 3 months after the initial order I received a new item, but the stress and aggravation of dealing with these idiots took its toll.

I absolutely refuse to order from Amazon in any capacity and have told as many people I know of my ordeal. I am only one individual to Amazon, but news of bad experiences travels faster and is more effective in my view.

I now use Ebay and have had no problem whatsoever!

By the way, I would rather have rated a minus value.

Check prices.

I bought a book called ‘Frozen Fire’ from Amazon,. Not knowing any better, I paid the Amazon asking price of £14.50. However, on the back of the book, the stated price is £8.99 and this is the price others who have bought it, have paid. So beware - and check Amazon’s asking price against other sites

shame i always have problems with next day delivery yet the main amazon depot in my area is less than 0.3 miles away! + amazon stop treating your staff like criminals and stop paying for security contracts to stop workers from stealing from your depot, use your logic and PAY YOUR WORKERS MORE.

its a shame, because amazon in itself is actually a very good service, but the way they treat there staff is disgusting.

Stole money from my card after they cancelled my order.

Every single time I try to order from them my account gets locked and I need to confirm with several bank statements and ID?

I don't think this is really acceptable and there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it. It has happened on orders ranging from £5-150+

I have completely stopped using Amazon after they told me my order was cancelled and they shipped it and charged my debit card regardless.

Pretty sure thats against the law but what can you do beside leave this review, thanks Amazon, you're terrible.

This company doesn't honour it's sales agreements and stresses you too the max!!

This company doesn't honour its contracts when making purchases, nor do they replace items damaged by their couriers, despite said couriers promising that a replacement will be sent out immediately so as to avoid any more upset or delays. This doesn't happen. Instead, you're left waiting and getting emails that don't make sense as they don't seem to understand that their delivery people are destroying parcels, instead they promise a 'consolatory £10 voucher to spend on their site, and don't honour that either. Refunds from said transactions where your purchases have been destroyed take five days to get to your bank. It's much easier, cheaper and less hassle to shop locally as atleast that way you get what you pay for exactly when you are told you will have it and at times much cheaper.

Save your money and your sanity and purchase from ebay or your local high street!! Customer service sucks!

I purchased two kindle fire kids…

I purchased two kindle fire kids unlimited. Amazon have twice cancelled my subscription blaming me on both occasions for their errors and then refusing to engage with me to find a resolution beyond telling me I need to an Amazon account for my 4 year so that he can subscribe to monthly subscription. Given that he's 4 I'm pretty sure he's not allowed to set up direct debits!

I complained to the CEO Mr Doug Gurr who passed my complaint onto someone who now refuses to answer emails, I've sent 4 without a single response!

Amazon also have refused to comply with GDPR laws and supply me with a data access request, it is my right to know why they keep cancelling my account and then blaming me for it. A complaint is now lodged with the ICO.

I have given Amazon more than reasonable opportunity to discuss the situation and try to resolve they totally refuse to.

I would strongly advise anyone to avoid their kids unlimited kindle. They are of poor build, the replacement when the charge port breaks, which it will it's a common fault on them, is a refurbished one. Yes they don't tell you that when they tell you they replace no questions asked. Then when you register the replacement they cancel your account forcing you to lose all of the apps your children love, if you complain you're blamed for the cancellation that is entirely their fault.

The product is shoddy. The service even worse.

Ordered an item

Ordered an item, received advice it had been dispatched 3/9/18 then received a further email saying they have refunded my purchase as not available.
Not happy although Amazon responded immediately but they should’ve checked the stock first!

Absolutely atrocious service

Absolutely atrocious service. Amazon used to be good once upon time. No more. I’ve ordered quite a number of items of the last few weeks and none bar 1 came on time. Yet their website tracking service showed it as delivered. I looked for it with my neighbours in the block, asked the management company for cameras after speaking to amazon customer service and informing them that even though the item says it was delivered, it was in fact, not delivered so I asked to see the cameras for my apartment so that I can investigate.

The CS said he’s investigating and will call me back in 24hrs, which turned out to be a lie. Items show up 2 days later, however no explanation, no one told me that they were arriving when they did, delivered by amazon and worse, no apology.

I’ve since decided to cancel my prime subscription and not to shop with Amazon any longer. Good riddance.

Wanna pay 7.99 a month for next day…

Wanna pay 7.99 a month for next day delivery and get a big middle finger instead? Then Amazon Prime is for you! Time after time i go out of my way to order withing next day delivery dispatch window and have been paying for prime for over a year to have things not dispatch due to being 'out of stock' even though they are in stock on the website and still stay in stock days after ive been told they are not. And most often than not, those things that you get shafted on are things you get seemingly amazing prices on which sort of leads me to believe they're just there to look good yet never get delivered in the end. And dont even get me started on the utterly useless support 'chat' of people probably paid like nothing on the hour to just read you the things you already know and repeatedly say 'don't worry sir' and 'im here to help' while doing absolutely nothing to do so other than the standard script you can read yourself on the website. If it was not for twitch prime i would have gotten rid of prime a long time ago. Will be avoiding from now on.

Every aspect of what i liked about…

Every aspect of what i liked about Amazon, has gone downhill.

Prime deliveries not arriving on time frequently,
Stuff stolen from
Packages or replaced.
Items delivered at wrong address.
Return policy changing every other week
Missing return items.
Confusing shipping information specially items delivered from china.

Who ever is heading Amazon UK specially London distribution center is ruining the reputation of the company.

This should be taught as example as how to destroy a brand.

Amazon fail to deliver parcel but claim they have.

I have ordered a New Laptop from Amazon on the 31st August 2018. Today, the 1st September 2018 I receive an email indicating that my laptop has been delivered.

This is not true as no deliveries have been made to my address, yet the email states delivered to resident.

After spending several hours online complaining to customer services, I then received an email 2 hours later saying that they have checked with the courier and he has delivered to your address and your parcel was signed for.

The above is clearly not true as I have not received any parcels or packages today. I have CCTV showing no deliveries have been made to my address.

Amazon claim that the parcel has been signed for?

So, they can deliver a £500 parcel to some random address with a signature they can't even read? They can't tell me any other details apart from they delivered and it was signed for ????

I have now had to fill out a form stating that I am telling the truth.

This has not been a very pleasant experience dealing with customer services and having them say "well we delivered to your address".

They then asked have I walked around my estate and asked if anyone has my parcel. What kind of a service are they running?

From now on, I will seriously consider buying any items of value from a reputable establishment, it may mean paying slightly more, but I would rather not spend my time trying to convince customer representatives that they have failed to deliver.

Very disappointed with Amazon and find it hard to believe that an establishment of their size is incapable of tracking a simple parcel delivery.

Now, I have to wait until Tuesday the 3rd September before they will look at returning any money or consider supplying the goods again.

Not the kind of service you expect as an Amazon Prime customer. Depending on the outcome, I will seriously be looking at cancelling my subscription and services.
