They came out to check my oven and said 99.95 service fee which is waived if you do the repair. I told them my oven would heat up but not maintain temp that was set. They quoted 409 dollars to replace the igniter. Said the igniter was 139 and the rest labor. How can a place justify charging almost 300 labor for 15 minutes of work. I found the igniter from the factory for 29 dollars and spent a total of 11 minutes installing it myself. What a rip-off this place is they just want to take advantage of people

THEY CAME THE SAME DAY AND RETURNED THE NEXT WITH THE NEEDED PART.
FRANK WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND PROFESSIONAL AND GOT THE JOB DONE VERY QUICKLY. I WOULD GIVE THEM 10*’s IF POSSIBLE!! THEIR OFFICE STAFF WERE VERY EFFICIENT AND LET ME KNOW TIMES FOR APT IN ADVANCE. THANKS TO ALL AT RELIABLE APPLIANCE!! METROWEST CUSTOMER

Cold call from a Foreign call centre claiming to be in Louth UK.

This company keeps cold calling my elderly client, despite repeated requests that they stop calling.
Attempts to call and complain to senior management, phone not answered

Convinced my elderly grandmother to sign up to a 2 year warranty on her TV that is over 10 years old. Where do these people get off coning people

Cold callers scammers stay away, they ignore the telephone preference service list and will cold call your phone 2-3 times per day at times

These people are scammers. Like so many other reviews my elderly mother (90 years old) is so upset by the high pressure calls she gets from these people. I have power of attorney so can cancel any DDs. But they are evil. Is there nothing we can do to stop them?

SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM!!! Avoid at ALL costs. Praying on vulnerable elderly people to give their bank details for nothing! They tried to take £174 "initial payment" in May 2020, Dec 2021 and now again in Feb 2022 from my elderly 90yo mother who only has a fridge and microwave in her sheltered housing! We've cancelled the standing orders each time but then THEY change the reference number/details and TRY AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN. I'm reporting them to Trading Standards. Avoid at ALL COSTS! SCAMMERS :-(((((

On receiving a cold call I managed to keep them on the phone for nearly half an hour. Hopefully they'll waste more time trying to collect from the fake bank details I eventually gave them.
Every minute they spend talking to me is a minute they're not spending to scam somebody else.

Yet another case where my elderly mother who is not in possession of her faculties, has signed up for cover on a Samsung TV which she does not own. This was via a cold call. It is costing her £5.99 per month. I got through to the company yesterday and they have agreed to cancel the contract. We shall have to wait and see

BEWARE. SCAM COMPANY. Targets the vulnerable to fleece them. I am trying to recover money via my uncle's bank but this seems to be a new way to easily steal money from people with the cooperation of banks! Anyone else with the same issue should contact the bank in question and insist on a refund.

Last year I cancelled all my 89 year old mothers DD with her bank when I saw a payment for £150 to Reliable Appliances, I have Power of Attorney over her financial affairs since mum had to go into residential care. I tried unsuccessfully last year to get it refunded. I have looked at her latest bank statement today and was amazed to see that once again £150 was taken by DD from her bank by Reliable Appliances even though the DD was cancelled last year.

This company is one of the worst I have ever experienced. We had a Ice maker replaced in our refrigerator and it worked for about two week and then started freezing up just like the one we had replaced. They offer a 90 day warrantee which they would not honor. Sent a second repair man out to check it and saw it was not working. He took pictures and said the first repair man left the company and a manager would get back to us, which never happened. I called and called and got no return call. This company does not even rate a one star. If there were minus stars that is what they would get. Take the warnings in the reviews they are SCAMMERS!!!!!

Highly recommended as service was professional, friendly and competitively priced for the call out and part to complete the repair.

Targeted my elderly mother-in-law, who has dementia and persuaded her to sign up. No idea what the service is for as no policy documents/paperwork received other than a direct debit instruction for monthly payment of £7.99. Managed to cancel this D/D at the bank. This was followed, less than a month later, by another D/D instruction for a one off payment of £150.00. Once again cancelled through the bank. You can not contact them by phone as all options lead you to a recorded message saying ‘this ext. inbox is full, please try again later’. Looking at other reviews, these vultures are obviously targeting the vulnerable.

SCAMMERS. They targeted my mother who has dementia but l managed to cancel the first payment at the bank and so no money was deducted. Sadly mu mum was targeted by quite a few of these companies many using Interbacs Limited RE to process the payment. Please be aware and look out for the elderly and vulnerable. Good luck

Outstanding service - extremely quick response and efficient repair. I could not recommend too highly. Andrew was professional and clearly runs an excellent business. Thank you - the tumble dryer is now fully functioning again!

They called my elderly mother and persuaded her to use their service. She didn't receive the correct documents then they proceeded to take money out of her bank account in varied amounts; when contacted to ask for the correct documents, there was no reply at all.
The policy was cancelled and the direct debit stopped, including at the bank, last year. Earlier this year, despite the policy being cancelled verbally and in writing, they set up a different direct debit via the company Allpay and took money out of her account. So we've had to cancel it all again. Speaking to the bank, there's nothing to stop then keep doing this every year now they have her bank details. It's been very upsetting.

Only one star because I cannot give a zero. Repeatedly targeted my elderly mother in law with cold calling despite her being very confused. Set up direct debits and use stored card number to reinstate every time we cancel. Impossible to speak to on phone or email.
Utterly wrong and cynical exploitation of elderly people; I notice multiple similar experiences.
