Known the company for many years and have always received great service along with quality products at a good price. Always my first port of call when doing any big jobs or in need of some professional advice. Never disappointed - thanks guys.

I needed cut MDF sheets for a DIY project. I went into the shop, placed the order with ease and took delivery a few days later on the agreed day. All in all - a great service - will use these guys again.

We have dealt with Atlantic Timber for many years now. They have always been really great to deal with and really approachable. We build high end narrowboats and we cant use substandard products. This is why we have been a customer of theirs for a long time.

Great company to work with, we are a main construction contractor and Atlantic Timber have always supported us, provided great customer service and at great prices. We have many years of a trading relationship which we are grateful for. Nothing is too big, small or trouble to them, this can range from the standard materials to any bespoke work.

We use Atlantic Timber regularly for our Business and have done for over 10 years! All quotes are responded to efficiently and delivery times / dates are always met (even if we give them very short notice). Martin and his team are always very helpful and nothing is too much to ask - if they don't stock an item, they always offer to source the item for us if they can!

Customer service ok - Product Rubbish!

Timber supplied really sub-standard. Decorative mouldings with chunks missing due the knots. Split timber. Crazy amount of waste.

I placed an order 27th Sept and the expected delivery date given was 30th/3rd Oct. Past that date I received notification that it will be 4th/6th Oct and if I still didn't receive it I can request an refund, I followed that process to then received a message from Atlantic that my goods were received on the 28th Oct. What total rubbish, apparently DX Freight sent them a picture, I live in a block of flats top floor and it operates an intercom system, the picture was clearly not my address. How can they treat customers like this, I would like my refund of £74.64

Ordered on a Friday had email correspondence regarding delivery almost immediately after I placed the order and had a phone call to confirm my cutting requirement. Order dispatched on the following Monday and received the next day.
Excellent service, I have no hesitation about recommending them.

If you want service then being female appears to work.. for anything else you'll get a long wait, dismissive staff and a large bill. Without doubt the most horrendous company to deal with, they really hate customers. Ended up driving to B & Q 12 miles away who cut and supplied the wood in 15 minutes for half the price

Staff so rude. Martin the managing director v polite but gone on holiday without sorting out my delivery and no one has got back to me about it

One man in particular is so rude and a lady who was in the shop at the same time as me was saying he had just been rude to her too. We actually believe he does not like women. His measuring was hilarious and tried to say it was correct. I had to put him on the phone to my husband who corrected him. He had to go through the measurements that needed cutting. A complete joke! Not a friendly place at all and has gone down hill.

Ordered cornice for kitchen. Kept up to date every step of the way. Super quick processing and delivery of the order. Wood quality much better than DIY stores and, best of all, it's cheaper! Would recommend (no pun intended!).

2nd nov 21 I went for an off cut of 2x1 x 5ft timber as i have done for over 2 years the price was £2 +vat a good price then ask for it to be cut down the middle omg surprise they wanted £5 .this would take less than
1 min including set up.This is daylight robbery and i can't understand how they arrive at this service i wont be going again and i will tell all my friends

RUDE unhelpful staff I’m sorry but I interrupted their conversation man did I pay for that! Went especially for wood cut to size, didn’t expect to pay for off cuts also, if I wanted I could leave it and they’d sell it on as off cut, but I’d paid for it, so that means they get paid twice for the same product, plus £1 per cut boy has this place gone to the dogs and below, not surprisingly it was dead, used to be the busiest and best now -10/10 total bad place to shop

These guys are great - friendly, no nonsense, professional and accurate. As a very bad DIYer, it can feel a bit intimidating going to a specialist place but the people who I spoke to were really helpful and not at all patronising and I got the materials for my project, tailor-made thanks to the machine shop, at a great price. After discovering that the square cupboard I was shelving was neither plumb nor square, I needed the shelves trimming and the shop offered to do it for free. As the size issue was not their fault (nor mine!) I insisted on paying and the new cuts were perfect and done quickly. Highly recommended all round. You simply will not find this range of product combined with great customer service elsewhere, and you get the satisfaction of shopping at a small business.

I just ordered a range of timber parts for my workshop bench project. Atlantic Timber had everything I needed so I duly ordered it from them. It arrived in good time, the plywood was pre-cut to my specifications and extremely well protected and wrapped. Edge and corner protection meant there was no damage. A couple of minor niggle for me, 1 the ply was a bit rough, with lots of knots and the carriage fee was a fair bit. I know many couriers use volumetric pricing so it is not always down to the supplier , but there you go, if you want it to the door and most of us probably do during these silly times, I guess you have to pay ., Would I use them again, without a doubt.
