Software glitch caused problems

Booking process, through Trivago, went smoothly except that the hotel confirmation we received was for a hotel in a completely different location and not the one we thought were booking. This seems to be a problem with the geographic location software and a problem they are aware of. The response from Bedfinder was very quick and the booking was cancelled within 24 hours

I'm a first-time user of Bedfinder

I'm a first-time user of Bedfinder. I was a bit skeptical to use the site due to the bad experiences that I read online, but I'm also aware that some people just like to complain about everything, and give bad reviews over something petty. The only time I had a concern was when I first tried to verify my hotel room was booked. I called the hotel after I received my confirmation email from Bedfinder, but they couldn't find my room under my name. After further review of the email I received, I saw that it stated that my information may not be given to the hotel until up to 1 week prior to the booking date! i was a little concerned, so I emailed Bedfinder and I got a reply back within 24 hours with a confirmation number that I was able to use and verify my reservation with the hotel. My booking date hasn't been reached yet, but as of yesterday, my room is booked and is under my name. All in all, I am really satisfied with this service. I was able to book a room for significantly cheaper than the going rate currently is at that location.

Better than I expected

I read some bad reviews on bedfinder after making my booking so was expecting something to go wrong.
Nothing went wrong. I couldn't fault it. Great customer service. Very quick response with any queries I had. Flights and hotel all confirmed and hotel was beautiful and perfectly located.

We are sorry to hear about your bad experience. We looked into your booking and what we found is that you complained about not being informed of our cancellation policy.

As we secure the best rates possible, all our bookings are pre-paid hotel reservations. Full payment is made at the time of booking in order to secure and guarantee your reservation. Handling fees and cancellation conditions are displayed during the booking flow and are also detailed on the confirmation email. We are obliged to pay for accommodation to our suppliers (hence the great rates), and we are afraid that has to reflect on our cancellation procedures.

We truly hope you understand our position.

The hotel l booked was no longer at this location was told by the desk clerk that the company move to Miami Beach FL their website was never updated. Had to go and look for another hotel in the area very disappointed . File a complaint with American Express

While elevators must be entered from the nice lobby, rooms open to the outside air, as in old-fashioned motel rooms.The provided photos do not seem to reveal this.
