I had been paying monthly installment payments on my federal taxes beginning in 2023. Knowing I would never catch up to what I owed, I began searching for quality tax relief programs. I recognize that an unexpected problem occurred in house with the loss of Colin. I have nonidea when that occurred. I wish I had heard of this sooner, but such had nothing to do with Malaika Naqvi. I have been dealing with Better Tax Relief for some time now, and unfortunately, I am very disappointed with my experience so far.

I was told that the cost to retain their services, including fees and other costs, would be approximately $2,700. So far, I have made approximately $1,200 in payments. I have continued making these payments because I expected to receive the services and follow-up that were promised to me.

About three months ago, I was told that someone would be reaching out to me to go over my finances, discuss my situation, and help get everything in order. Three months later, I am still waiting for that follow-up.

What I don’t understand is how I am expected to continue making monthly payments when I am not receiving communication or updates regarding my case. I have made it clear that I need someone to contact me and explain what has been done, what the current status of my case is, and what I am actually paying for.

At this point, I am simply asking for accountability and transparency. I want to know where my $1,200 has gone, what work has been completed on my behalf, and what services I can expect moving forward.

I am not trying to be difficult. I just believe that if I am making monthly payments for a service, there should be communication and progress. I hope Better Tax Relief will address my concerns and provide the follow-up I have been promised.

Until then, I am left trying to make sense of why I am continuing to pay when no one has followed up with me.
