Brico Depot ripped me off

Like so many others, I ordered a Garden Kneeler and Seat and two tool pouches on 11th June 2020. Six weeks later the pouches arrived but still no sign of the kneeler (1st September) and there are no contact details for them, so I can't ask for my money back. A complete rip off. I definitely won't order anything advertised on Facebook again.

Scam

I have already posted details of my experience, what concerns me is that if you look for grass seed mat on Amazon, it is the same pictures and same poor reviews on several sites.

Oh no I've been ripped off too. So annoyed. Ordered keeler at £29.99, waited weeks only to receive the bag for tools. Wish I'd seen all these reviews before. Can't find anway to get in contact with them now. How can they get away with this?

Do not order from this Company

Do not order from this Company. I am usually very careful when ordering online, but boy did I get conned with this lot. Like many others order the self seeding grass mats. All I got was a square of green felt. Tried contacting them, but emails just bounce back.

Another one to join the Scammers Club…

Another one to join the Scammers Club unfortunately. Ordering the garden kneeler/seat, just receiving the pouches. I've also made a claim to my bank and hoping they will make their own investigations into this Company. I've also reported them to Action Fraud and already received an encouraging acknowledgement.Their website 'actionfraud.police.uk' is worth contacting. All claims are sent to the National Fraud Intelligence Bureau for review. Don't know if they'll be able to track these people down, but I feel we have to try.

Grass seed Mat

Bought the grass seed mat and it turned out to be green felt. Total rip off and made more of a mess of my garden. When I saw it I thought it was just felt and tried a few bits nothing happened. Looks like other people have been conned as well.

Don't go there

Wish I had read reviews before ordering. Like many ordered garden kneeler, bag arrived but no kneeler. Order placed in June. Unable to contact Brico. Have certainly learned a lesson.

The delivery was very slow, the mats are not working and you find products claiming the same on wish.com £19 cheaper.
Save your money and leve them be!

Do NOT use this company!

I ordered a garden kneeler, with attached bag, from Brico via Facebook on 6th June at £30. I had no idea it was being shipped from the US. The 'bag' arrived, on its own, a month later - but the kneeler itself has never arrived. I emailed them twice - first time had no reply - second time my email was returned 'unable to deliver'. Am totally disgusted with this company - and would strongly suggest that you do not order from them!

Ordered biodegradable grass seed mat / received 2 pieces of green felt (Facebook ad purchase)

I should've been smarter and known better. I had a feeling in my gut this biodegradable grass mat was too good to be true, but my dog has ruined lots of spots in our yard, and I was desperate for an easy fix. I, too, took advantage of the "buy 2 rolls, get 1 free" deal. After waiting over 3 weeks for it to arrive, I was excited to open my package and get to work! Like others, my excitement faded instantly when I saw two strips (not even the 3 promised) of green felt I could've bought at Hobby Lobby for $1. I noticed the USPS label had a "strange" return address: Tommy, 18501 Arenth Ave., City of Industry, CA 91748. I looked this address up, and it's listed as a warehouse but shows a picture with a small Office Depot sign on the building. I, then, searched online for scams with this return address. Sure enough, there's a whole thread on Reddit with customers saying they purchased things like inflatable slides, exercise machines, etc...but, in turn, received a cheap, fake ring-all of which came from this address. Several customers suggested (if you still have it) to check the original packing. They explained that a new USPS sticker was placed over the original. Wouldn't you know, my plastic envelope had a second sticker placed on top of the original. The "fake" sticker is a different material than what the USPS uses. It appears scammers are, most likely, intercepting packages, stealing the contents, putting cheap things like felt and rings back into the package, slapping a new USPS label on it, and mailing it to customers. The need for a new sticker & sending some cheap item is to be able to prove USPS delivered a package. I checked my tracking #, and it shows my package was delivered. I gave my original package and explained the story to my postal worker. He was totally shocked. This is a total bait & switch scheme. I guess, in my case, I got a little lucky. I was only out $40 for two pieces of felt rather than a biodegradable grass seed mat. I'd be totally bummed if I'd ordered an inflatable slide for my kids this summer and received a cheap/fake ring!

Grass impregnated matting

Grass impregnated matting, shown in the advert as a substantial roll. When it finally arrived about three weeks later, it looked more like package for a CD. A strip of green felt-like material with not a hint of impregnated grass seed and which wouldn’t have been out of place on a billiard tablet. I cut it, laid it and absolutely nothing grew. A 100% scam. Don’t touch this company with a barge pole.

Don’t be scammed

Sorry to say we are another gullible customer who got scammed into buying the grass seed mat! Have also been watering 3 times a day now for quite a while and not a glimpse of any grass. Wish I’d read these reviews first. This shouldn’t be allowed.

Don't use this company

Don't use this company. Ordered a grass mat (via a facebook ad) and received a piece of green felt from abroad with no seeds. Complete rip off and now they refuse to refund my money saying it was on promotion.
