Changing a policy
This is the 2nd time I have used Briefly and find them so easy to use and fast no messing.’ Even the chat service was quick at answering. The only thing with me I purchased a policy for a week and decided I wanted it for 2 weeks I could not change the policy to 2 weeks even though it hadn’t started. It meant I would have to buy another policy for a week. The difference in money is £35 which to most isn’t much but when you are on a tight budget!! Thats my only complaint.t
Briefly have replied to my comments and have given me the options I could have had which were not explained to me on their chat. So I could have cancelled the original renewal and purchased a new one.

Next time there would be a couple of options available that should help save some time, both via the Briefly portal. Firstly, if it more than 15 minutes from when your policy starts you can cancel the policy and then buy a new policy for the longer duration. Secondly, once the policy has become active you can buy an "extension". It is a new policy but it will pick up when your previous policy expires so you will have uninterrupted cover
We really appreciate the feedback though, we will see if we can make options for changes clearer and easier going forwards for when plans change

Total waste of time, go to the other temp sites
Utterly ridiculous questioning system - longest form I've had to complete for temporary car insurance, compared to more than 10 other websites! At the end, despite having my licence for more than 20yrs, before a quote was even offered they wanted me to provide a picture - even though they had my full licence details!!! What a waste of all that time, I gave up & I'm spending my money with a better business who values my time. You suck Briefly!!

Bought a new car, had no drive away insurance and had not sold my previous car yet, so couldn't transfer policy.
Purchasing this short term policy took 2 minutes and i was insured and on the road.
When you need short term insurance quick, you can't go wrong. Very pleased!

Needed get home insurance because i had to jump through hoops with my original insurance after they took my deposit ( marshmallow ins) out of my bank for the vehicle i was registered to I had to verify my account and myself and payments out of my account needed verification what a scam and even before i was insured to cancel i have to pay 30 for nothing what a joke never use marshmallow ins these guys saved my bacon thank you briefly

Bought a car and needed immediate but temporary cover to get home, this was by far the cheapest prce I received and I’m glad that I didn’t fall for any “ discounts“ from the other firms as they were still three times more expensive, so a great experience and would definitely recommend and use again
