Great people from the Managing Director to the office staff (Kim, Lauren and Julie) and the guys that installed the bird proofing.
Excellent communication regarding scheduling changes due to the "reliable" British weather. All in all excellent experience.

Ours was not the easiest job - a particularly steep roof, with some moss covering and poor weather meant it was twice delayed, but our "team" - Dan and Keaton - were terrific!
Professional, amiable, polite and cheerful throughout and, of course, they did the job efficiently and well. No more pesky pigeons!
I have no hesitation in recommending these young men and their company. Great work!

I asked for a quote for bird proofing solar panels. They asked for my address and to send them photos of my solar panels. I did this. I have heard nothing back. What a waste of time.

Update : received very rude reply (see below). I sent the pictures on 9th July (Tuesday) not yesterday (Wednesday). I did not get a call from Colin (or anyone else). I have not received a quote.

From very first contact, the company went out of their way to be helpful, including sending one of their team to inspect our property when the photos I had sent weren’t sufficient. The quote was very reasonable and they required just 25% deposit. The fitting team arrived promptly on the designated day and did a fantastic job, removing two nests and rehousing two chicks before fitting the pigeon-proofing wire, which is of very high quality, with very sturdy clips to our solar panels. The guys cleaned up when the job was done and advised me on how the pigeons might hang around for a week or two before they finally got the message that their home had gone. In fact, they gave up within 24 hours so peaceful sleep has returned again!

Excellent service right from initial enquiry through to installation. Prompt reply to all emails, good advance notice of booking and efficient installation.

Very professional staff and kept me informed all throughout the process especially when appointments had to be changed due to the awful weather in May.

Had our solar pannels bird proofed as we had doves and pigeons that had integrated nesting underneath where there were three nests. The three lads came as one was being trained up all 3 were polite and very efficient and made sure I was happy after and my partner who works nights couldn't sleep cause of the noise is very happy as this solved our problem and no more mess

Competitively priced and great customer service - they got back to us quickly, told us what needed to be done and how - the team that came to do the job were polite, courteous and thorough- they got the job done in no time, cleaned the gutters and then cleaned up the patio - can’t recommend them enough - good service is in short supply too often these days but I would use this company again without hesitation.

Ease of getting my problem sorted. After the initial enquiry I sent photographs of the solar panels on the roof. I was told very quickly that a Rish Assessment would be carried out and that there would not be any particular problems. I paid the deposit which was acknowledged and a date fixed for fitting.
The fitters were prompt and got on with the job in a cheerful and professional manner. The job was completed and there was no mess or inconvenience.
Excellent except for 2 worried pigeons that cannot work out what has happened!

I was kept updated due to bad weather delaying the pigeon proofing of my solar panels. The workmen were pleasant, efficient, left no mess and the work was done using ladders saving me over a £1000 on scaffolding which other firms used.

Booking was straightforward. We were kept updated on the planned visit date. Team arrived promptly, explained everything and just got on with it. Guards fitted around two sets of solar panels. Everything looks good and certainly no mess left behind.

This company is straightforward and good.
With the UK weather trying to guess which day will be suitable and then finding the most suitable of their teams for the job is an art they have mastered.
Watching the guys setting out the "pigeon proofing" mest while working from a rope tied round the chimney suggested that might also be good rock climbers.

Excellent communication, quality strong metal used (no plastic mesh like other firms), friendly lads who did the installation, left our property tidy, and a 10 year warranty. No reason not to trust them really. Thanks!

CAVEAT EMPTOR!!!!!!
On March 25th 2024, at the County Court at Bristol, Bristol Civil Justice Centre, the Judge ordered that Cimex Lectularius - trading as British Bird Control - must pay me the sum of £648.00 for debt and £203.00 for Court fees amounting together to the sum of £851.00
This was in response to my claim that British Bird Control had caused damage to the vulnerable underside of on e of my solar panels while installing bird-proofing mesh.
I strongly advise that you consider whether introducing sharp metal objects - the cut ends of the mesh they use - into the space immediately below these panels is a good idea. You might also consider if the use of black plastic cable-ties to secure the mesh to the panels is appropriate, taking into account their rate of deterioration when exposed to the elements.

They were very helpful, right from the start of my enquiring about having work done to bird-proof my solar panels. I got several quotes and British Bird Control turned out the cheapest, although I would have gone with them even if they had been more expensive. Their information and how they go about their work, along with reviews on other sites persuaded me of this.
I paid a deposit and was told the week the work would be done, but obviously this is weather dependent. Communication was really good, so I knew that they would come on the Tuesday. I was at work that day, but that wasn’t a problem. Unfortunately there was an accident on the road so the guys were held up, and they contacted me to let me know what was going on. When they eventually arrived, they went up on the roof only to discover that my panels are quite unusual. We were quite early adopters so they are reasonably old, so that might be the issue. Anyway, they realised that their usual system wouldn’t work on the size and gaps of my panels. They spent some time trying to work out a different way but to no avail. Sadly this meant that the work wasn’t done.
The company kept me in touch about all of this, including a long phone call the next day to explain the problem and to help me with trying to find another company that might be able to help. My deposit was reimbursed that day too. All this, after they had spent a day on the road and been unable to work, or earn any money from me.
I would absolutely recommend this company.
