Diabolical.

No Internet from Fri eve, 8pm. Have to wait until at least the following Tues for a new modem which has left me using expensive mobile data. Tried selling me an EE phone as I was explaining. Atrocious that in 2026 they've left me in this situation and I can't wait to NOT renew my contract and to complain. Amateurs.

This is a review of EE broadband and BT whom EE took over my contract from.

For years they had been charging me double their advertised rates with no explanation and then when finally left, for company offering the exact same product for less than half the price, they charged me almost 5 months worth of bills.

Will not be paying and will be cancelling my mobile deal as well.

I'm not a EE Customer but they won't believe me!

I am not an EE customer .I have never had EE services and in the past 20 years (my period of residence)there have been no services associated with my home address.
In spite of this I have received 3 bills within the past 10 days seeking payment for TV and broadband services.
On every occasion I've contacted EE by phone and their customer guides have confirmed I don't have an account and don't owe them money.Unfortunately this has not prevented EE continuing to seek cash for non existent services.

I've tried to email them but they don't provide an e mail address.I suspect this is because they don't want to leave a paper trail demonstrating their incompetence.

I'm writing this to warn people of the danger of dealing with this company who are at best incompetent or at worst dishonest.

My only previous contact with them was approx 2 years ago when I enquired about a TV and Broadband package which I did not go ahead with.....I am concerned that they have misused my personal information

I would recommend being very careful in dealing with this company

Ee very poor broadband service

If there were no stars I would rate that for this company. Trying to get to talk to them is abysmal. No answer on phones to tell them about our poor service since upgrading to full fibre the reception is terrible and only getting download/ upload speeds of around 10 Mbps instead of 150 as contracted . Before we upgraded we had speeds of 50 mbps what the heck have we paid for and no one to address our complaints to .

EE are fricking thieves interfering…

EE are fricking thieves interfering with their customers devices in order to deny them the gigabytes ,agreed to in their contract.I have proof of this...they use various scams ....like saying no sim. ..whilst disconnecting your device. They also make it more difficult to connect and youthen have to try repeatedly..These people are scamers.
I worked in IT and I know this for a fact...go to another company and sign up with them...these people are full of s**t.
Their latest trick is to make your screen jitter...so that it is blurred and then you cannot use your device.
I threatened them before...they never admit to anything. But then they chage their tactics when you inform them that you have proof.

disgusting customer service

EE has provided one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. Your support is slow, inconsistent, and completely unhelpful. Every time I contact you, I get passed from one department to another without anyone taking responsibility. It’s incredibly frustrating to waste so much time only to receive no proper solution.

As a paying customer, I expected professionalism and competence, but instead I’ve been met with poor communication, endless delays, and a complete lack of accountability. This level of service is unacceptable, and you’ve completely lost my confidence. I regret choosing EE and will be taking my business elsewhere while making sure others know about my experience.

So far I have had nothing but trouble

So far I have had nothing but trouble. I signed up,to EE broadband through my current supplier Plusnet ( who are brilliant by the way). I am only leaving due to needing a digital phone service which Plusnet aren't doing. Anyway I originally signed up on 30th June, yesterday I got a message asking me to call them. Not great call centre, but I already reviewed that. WHEN i did get to speak to someone, they had cancelled my order. Then I was put back to Plusnet to do the order again. I received the EE hub and phone adapter today and a couple of hours later, a message from EE asking me to return it by Sept or they will charge £85. Luckily I'm still within 14 day cancellation period, which I'm now considering.

I get a reply which does not really help

Funny that after 3.5 months I actually got a reply from EE telling me that I have got to try and contact them again.
Has anyone tried to get through to EE by telephone.??
They know we have been trying to get repairs done when having installation work carried out.
Yet they cannot seem to be able to get the repairs done.
Photographs, complaints forms and an estimate recorded in April, yet still we wait !!
Shocking business practice.

EE Broadband and TV is diabolical and their customer service is even worse. I’ve been struggling with coverage in my house for months. Now EE want to charge me an extra £10 per month on my bill to rent a booster as their equipment they have just replaced can’t service the upstairs of my house. I have maximum fibre, tv and 3 mobile phones, I’ve just spent £890 buying an iPhone 17 off them paying in full and they treat me like this. Avoid EE at all costs, I’m actively looking at my options. Not happy at all.

Terrible customer service EVER!!!

Terrible customer service EVER!!!! My broadband is meant to be activated since 26 of last month, today is 9th of the next month my internet is still not working, called them days back they booked an engineer for me , this lady assured me that it was booked and even sent a confirmation text , on the day , no one came , I called them for update just for them to tell me the engineer appointment wasn’t booked, huh , how did I get a confirmation text of the appointment then ? I was disappointed, they went ahead to book another engineer appointment for me for the next day , AGAIN, no one came !!!! Stayed home all day , booked a day off just to waste my whole time , called customer service they picked after my 4th call attempt, 38-40min each of no response before finally speaking to them after the 4th attempt, and again , there was no appointment recorded on the system, apparently the staffs just lie and give you an appointment day without actually booking on the system , but still , I wonder how I get confirmation text for these appointments.
I have never seen a MORE TERRIBLE customer service like EE broadband before all my life .

Atrocious

I have mobile and broadband with EE, I have been with them for almost a decade. My current upload speed is 2mbps- for around £80 per month, on a package I was assure would support video calls (my work), and it drops continuously.
I rang to complain about this, and I was told I would have to pay just over £30 to leave the contract to get a better deal - no offer of support, no looking after current customers. While the chap I spoke to was decent, the overall model for this is pretty crappy. Between phones and broadband they have over £300 a month of me, and cannot even sort out my broadband. Shocked!

Poor Service and Incompetent Support

I am writing this review on behalf of my client, who has been a customer of EE Broadband. Unfortunately, our experience with your company has been nothing short of disgraceful, and I feel it is my duty to warn other potential customers.

The Issue
My client has been experiencing sudden and complete service outages 2–3 times per week, affecting both her broadband and mobile connections. This unreliability is unacceptable, especially given that she has made numerous calls to your support team in an attempt to resolve the matter. Despite her efforts, no action has been taken, and the problem persists.

Poor Customer Service
As her representative, I called EE to assist in resolving these issues. The experience was appalling. The advisor I spoke with repeatedly asked me to spell out my client’s long email address, but she would not listen to me fully before interrupting. She then had the audacity to tell me I was spelling it incorrectly, despite my providing my client’s first name, surname, and additional identifying details. This is not customer service—it is a bad joke.

Wasted Time and Unresolved Problems
I spent over an hour and a half of my valuable time trying to link my client’s new broadband and mobile accounts and address an overcharge issue. While the mobile problem was eventually sorted, the broadband issue remains unresolved. To make matters worse, I was transferred from one department to another like a ping-pong ball, with no one taking ownership of the problem.

A System Built to Fail Customers
It is clear to me that these large corporations have grown too big and arrogant. They look down on their customers, treating them as inconveniences rather than valued clients. It seems they feel it is acceptable to lie, delay, and pass you around in circles, hoping you will give up. They do not care if your issue is not resolved on the first, second, or even third call—they simply want to keep you on the phone for as long as possible.

I could have spent that 1.5 hours supporting my other clients, but instead, I was forced to run in circles because of EE’s incompetence.

Shame on You
EE, your service is a failure. Your support staff (broadband) are incapable, and your systems are broken. Customers are left as victims of a system that does not care. You should be ashamed.

I strongly advise anyone considering EE Broadband to look elsewhere. This company does not value its customers.

Very poor experience with EE broadband…

Very poor experience with EE broadband house move.

I became the legal owner of my new house on 20 May 2026 and contacted EE on 8 June to arrange my broadband house move. EE booked an engineer appointment for 20 June, but nobody attended. When I called, I was told that the previous owner had cancelled my order. I was not informed that the appointment had been cancelled, and I do not understand how someone else was able to interfere with an order placed by me.

EE then booked another appointment for 7 July. Again, nobody attended. This was the second missed engineer appointment, and I was still left without broadband.

I work from home, so this has caused real inconvenience, extra travel, stress, and wasted time chasing EE. EE sent a temporary wireless fob, but it arrived late and it does not properly solve the issue because my work setup requires a wired connection.

After I pushed back and explained that this was EE’s issue and that my situation was getting worse, EE finally offered another appointment for 11 July. This makes me feel that more could have been done earlier, especially after the first missed appointment.

I am also concerned about account security and personal data handling, as I have not received a clear explanation about how the previous owner was able to cancel or interfere with my order.

Overall, this has been a very frustrating experience: repeated missed engineer appointments, poor communication, delays, lack of urgency, and no proper resolution so far.

Utterly shocking service.

The text below highlights the utterly shocking service I have received from E E in the period 8 June to 7 July 2026.This is the time it takes to get them to do anything despite my phone calls & e mails asking for HELP.
And incidentally E E say & I quote ''There is no compensation for poor service'' !!
1 Not receiving promised call backs.
2 Being given misinformation just to get me off the phone.
3 Being hounded relentlessly by E E wanting to close the account despite it still being open.
4 Trying to sell me another broadband contract for 2 year duration rather than resolving my complaint
5 Complaints Team contact details being withheld.
Literally dragging things out in the hope I would give up.I was advised to write a letter as no phone number or e mail address! This is a communication Company!!
6 Forgot to mention, lost my landline connection for 5 days. This again is not subject to compensation, unbelievable arrogance.
