Hello
Hello. I signed up for an internet package with EE that included a TV box and Netflix. At first, they told me it would cost £52 per month, but after only two months the price increased to £58.
The TV box doesn’t work, and Netflix hardly has any new movies. It honestly feels like a scam. When I wanted to cancel the package, they asked me to pay a £300 cancellation fee just for the TV box and Netflix.
I would not recommend this package to anyone.
Poor support from EE
I contacted the EE help centre complaining of poor connectivity and frequent drop-outs. The most recent of many of these approaches. The girl responding was helpful but the changes adopted only made the situation worse. Subsequently, I received an email from EE asking how I rated my experience. I responded to this, only to find that due to some curious marketing arrangement, my comments unexpectedly were published on Trustpilot.
I frequently have been down the road suggested by the provider road during several years of contract with EE and on each occasion the result has been either no improvement at all or things have worsened. I am tired of paying a Rolls Royce premium for a Trabant quality of service.
Sadly, changing internet providers is rather like changing banks; the one to which you move proves to be worse than the one just left. EE and the whole business requires a fundamental shake-up.
I was with BT and had no problems
I was with BT and had no problems. EE took over the contract and immediately increased my charge. It is almost impossible to get in contact with EE. Do not use this company.
Awful customer service.
Agreed a price today over the phone to renew our EE broadband having been a customer with them for at least 10 years.
T&C's were subsequently emailed to me to approve, but the price quoted in writing was £18.00 a month more than agreed on the call. Called EE back. They said they can't help now due to the order being 'open', so they have v'e left me with the problem! Awful service. Oh and you have to pay more a month if you're a loyal customer than if you're a new customer!
Misleading
I haven’t got 180£ they promise I will
Get prepaid Mastercard after 14 to 30 days of my broadband activation
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY THE WORST I EVER KNOWN
Stay away from this company the worst company I have ever dealt with in my 75yrs. They rang me to see why I was leaving offered me a better deal so I decided to say with them. They arranged to install full fibre yesterday never arrived. Phoned to ask were they where they had cancelled the order without informing us, when I asked why they didn’t know. We will have to create a new order
£10 more than previously agreed. Which I didn’t accept,
Wish I hadn’t decided to stay with them, now looking
for a New Broardband Provider again. This company is useless, customer service is terrible.
I pay my bills every month my WiFi is…
I pay my bills every month my WiFi is so slow frozen whatschapp from week
We had excellent service from EE
We had excellent service from the EE engineers who came yesterday to upgrade our WIFI connection. Sean arrived early and listened to our preferences on where to place the external cables. He arranged for another engineer Alex to come with a cherry picker so that the cables could be placed high up. Their work was quick and skilled. Sean worked inside to complete the placing of the new Router and equipment. He explained everything to us. EE are lucky to have such competent engineers working for them. We were very pleased.
TERRIBLE SERVICE AND COMMUNICATION…
TERRIBLE SERVICE AND COMMUNICATION INSTALLATION CANCELLED SEVERAL TIMES BY EE. DIDNT RECORD MY ADDRESS CORRECTLY
NO COMMUNICATION NOTES WRITTEN ON MY ACCOUNT TO EXPLAIN WHY PLAN WAS CANCELLED STILL NO INSTALLATION AFTER SIX WEEKS WAITING.
Today was my connection day and nothing…
Today was my connection day and nothing worked! customer service was very careless and no resolution at all.
Stay away from this company
EE broadband
EE broadband - stay well away from this cheating lying company. All I can say is 1 star is 2 stars more positive that it should be they should be in the minus for sure
Probably the single worst company I have ever had the mis fortune to deal with
Mis sold products, taken £51 more than contractually allowed to take and still waiting for a refund, terrible intermittent broadband access, the worse service ever experienced and the complaints handling team even worse then the service team
They basically say we don’t agree with your complaint and if you don’t it go to the ombudsman - I really hope everyone does go to the ombudsman as I have as a company of this corporate size should not be allowed to operate in this way impacting ability to work from home taking money that is not owed to them then disregarding complaints with zero care for the issues they causing to customers
Unfortunately now broadband is a mandatory requirement to work from home and actually do a job so the outcome of this not working and time spent trying to resolve get a refund a find a new provider has been an extremely costly mistake - losing days of work which I will never get back is been a 100 financial loss of £100s of pounds even after I get my £51 refund
I urge every one not to use this company and urge anyone with one going issues like me to raise it to the ombudsman
A truly shocking experience
Actual installation by openreach was…
Actual installation by openreach was 100%. Subsequent support call to ee in order to get the info to connect my own router was 0%. Indeed it was appalling. Through my own contacts I was able to get it working. All I needed was the oope logon and/or DHCP stuff. It was agreed with ee-sales that it was ok to use my own router, when I called support they said it was not their problem. I was close to getting you to uninstall. Appalling!
Just abysmal service
Just abysmal service, the WiFi is constantly dropping in and out (and I do mean literally constant, every 15 seconds or so it goes off and on again) as well as being tragically slow, all for the low low price of £50 per month. Will be moving provider.
EE the worst Company I have dealt with!!?.
The worst Company I have ever dealt with!!. The TV package is rubbish. I like my free view the Blaze channel as all my favourite shows are on there . Yet each time I watch a recording it never finishes until the end, they always finish three quarter of the way through!!!, so frustrating!!! I have contacted Blaze who have told me it is down to EE scheduling that’s causing the problems?. I have rang a few times to EE and it’s still doing this!!.
They just don’t listen to me, and do not pass the problem onto scheduling!!!.
My Broadband signal has always been bad, I personally can’t wait to get out of my contract and go somewhere else that is more reliable !!!
I have since spoken to a guy who was extremely helpful and he told me that the tv boxes are 3rd party managed, so they don’t have much jurisdiction over scheduling apparently, so it was suggested that I record the next programme incase it runs over again?.
The boxes are not equipped like Sky boxes to recognise the programme has gone over its time, the boxes just record at that time whether it’s delayed or not?.
My suggestion to the agent was pass this on to your scheduling department that if they don’t change these boxes to a more modern box then they will lose valuable customers ??
Force move from BT to EE
We were force moved over from BT to EE over a year ago. Immediately we noticed a difference in the service we received. To add insult further, we were being charged more than if we had moved to EE ourselves on the tariff that we were on. We are now pay £53 for broadband that is poor in a full fibre area. Highly disappointed, especially when we had no issues with BT, we expected the same level of service. We will be looking to move from EE due to the poor quality and high fees.
We did say we would give it 12 months to see if it was just teething problems with the two changing over but unfortunately it has got worse. To the point we use 5G in our own home as it works better than our router!
Broadband Renewed without my Permission
2-Year contract for TV & Broadband due to expire mid-July. Been generally okay but the last 3 months the boradband has been shocking. Now the fun bit - wanted to add TNT Sports to my package for 1 month only to watch some footie. Called, clearly told the guy what I wanted and whilst he did dither a lot, we eventually got there after a forty minute call. However, despite having received email confirmation of my order (add TNT Sports for £20) what I've actually ended up wth is TNT plus a new two year broadband contract @ £55.99 per month. How did that happen????
I call/ I do live chat / I ask to speak to a Manager - but no-one wants to speak to me. I raise a complaint for which I receive a reference number but only to receive a SMS 10 days later telling me the complaint has been closed - what??? No explanation, no details on what they found nothing....
I call again, they tell me the complaint should not have been closed so it's re-opened again, so I ask to speak to a Manager but they're busy and will call me "tomorrow" - did they call? No, they did not.
So now I have submitted two requests for what data they hold on my file - written and recorded, you can do this via the website: ee dsar
Next step is the OMBUDSMAN, yes EE if you're reading this, I am going to THE OMBUDSMAN.
As it stands, I can't cancel the broadband as I'd planned in mid-July (service is still awful) without now having to pay two years worth of early exit fees when in fact I should have been able to leave without paying a bloody penny.
Kevin Bacon - you were great in Footloose but this lot play fast and loose with customers money.
PARENTAL CONTROLS SHOULD BE ONLINE AS WELL!!!!
Well, well, well..
Thought I was perhaps alone whilst leaving a bad review.
PARENTAL CONTROLS!!
Can only be accessed via the app and not online??
This is ridiculous!!
Bought an android phone to use the app, as I had noticed my 14yr old son using telegram to contact only fans girls !!! Wtaf???
Telegram now blocked - but I should've been able to do this online without the 💩 attached to using the app only!
Totally ridiculous.
Disappointed
Disappointed. Broadband stopped by EE for no reason
After one week they told my they had changed to q different hub serial number. They sent another hub, that was not connecting at all. No help, did not call back. 10days w/o broadband and no help.
Had no wifi for 2 days they said it was…
Had no wifi for 2 days they said it was because of an old router so new router has come and guess what still no wifi .had a very rude sales person speak to me as I wanted to cancel my contract t with them and go to another company he told me yes that's fine but you will have to pay £230 to cancel because according to him there's not a problem with there broadband and only time yoy can cancel early without a fee is if you have continuous low download speed well I don't have any download speed as it's not working and hasn't been since Wednesday and we are now on Saturday absolute shit show of a company didn't have this when it was bt I told them when they tried to switch me over at the end of my contract not to move me to ee but apparently they had to and promised nothing would change well now look at us not even a year down the line and I'm having issue. EE WORST COMPANY EVER AVOID AT ALL COST they lie constantly are happy to take your money but not to fix the problems you have
Not even worth a 1 star
Not even worth a 1 star. One customer advisor was extremely rude. Issues with account. When I tried to add extra service they send me email with confirmation but nothing changes at all. All of a sudden account shows information that has been cancelled etc. basically avoid. I was quite happy with BT broadband but once it switched to EE, I am not.
