Hello I live in CA and my girlfriend Jeri lives in Maine where I will be moving shortly. I wanted to do something nice for her so I sent her 6 bottles of her favorite CA wines since she was a little homesick for California. My contract BuyWinesOnline.com says that any friend or relative can pickup the package as long as they have a valid over 21 license identification. The shipping option that was offered was deviery to Walgreens in Pittsfield ME. She presented her valid ID and they refused to give her the pack.Then Buywinesonline.com refused to refund full price when we did not violate the contract they did.It say on the contract a friend or relative may pick it up.They caused a lot of grief and time and money

Update: They made me pay the return postage of $35
So out $97.04 -$65 I still should recieve at least $22 back

Buywinesonline.com failed to deliver as it promised. No offer of refund or compensation.

Time from order confirmed to delivery date is inconsistent. My last order took a week to arrive. FEDEX is also not consistent in their communication

Service was great, use them alot, website is easy to navigate. I get my Cabs thru them and use them to give gifts.

Reading the other reviews has my smh. I've ordered from this company and never had an issue. There was a delay in one shipment because payment posted after exptected delivery date due to holiday. They emailed notifying me that they would ship as soon as payment posted, once payment posted I emailed them saying it posted with no response. I did end up sending follow up email more stern about payment posted, I'd like an update, no response but I did receive wine within two days. Thank god I work from home. I would advise this company to add to the website that wine will be shipped after payment posted. Otherwise, I love this company. I always receive my wine a few days after payment posted.

Best company. Bought wine and delivered in just a few days

Sacky service. The merchant never notified me that the order was on its way or provided the tracking number. The result: The order arrived unannounced and, therefore, was refused. There are other online merchants for wine purchasing; go there and not here. Use your money elsewhere!

Is this company a total scam?
I placed an order on 29 Sept, have emailed three times for order shipping status, have not received a response. Just tried calling their phone number listed on their website and it is ‘unassigned’ at this time. I’ll be contacting my credit card company to report fraud.

I will never buy from them again. I don’t know why they give the days it takes to process an order and be delivered. I placed my order on the 19th of September 2024, and it is now the 28th and my order won’t be delivered until October 2. False advertising for sure

They were FRAUDULENT in their sending a wrong order and advertising a better bottle. Thankfully trustpilot overruled them since it is a legitimate review. I have all email proof of this!

I was looking for a certain wine for an event that I am hosting this coming weekend August 24, 2024. I found the bottle I wanted from this company on August 9th. It was a corked bottle from Spain (Albarino vintage 2022) I ordered a case. Their website states shipping in 2-4 days. It took 6 days to get a shipping tracking number then another 6 days to get the wine. So I open the case up to find a completely different label of this wine with a SCREW TOP MIND YOU! Plus only 6 bottles of the 2022 and 6 bottles of 2023 which I never ordered. They offered me 8% discount and I would have to return the 2023. Now, I know the ftc rules and if a merchant sends you something you did not order you do not have to return it. They said that was theft and told me they would turn me into their lawyers! I had to call them twice, then they offered me 20% if I kept all the wine. No thank you! I filed with my credit card company to reimburse me the 50% since I never order the 2023 vintage. I really should have done the full 100%because they sent me screw top wine and not the corked wine I ordered. This company used the more expensive wine bottle for their advertisement and sent the crap. DO NOT TRUST THEM!

I ordered wine for my wedding, It arrived 2 weeks late and we had to scramble to find other beverages for my wedding.

FEDEX said that they would provide me with a refund for the expensive wine and shipping if buywinesonline gave me a shipper waver.

I called buywinesonline to ask for a shipper waver and the lady was incredibly rude. She talked over me, yelled at me, and then hung up and me. She refused to answer when I called back. I got FEDEX to call her and she refused to answer them.

We often complain about companies outsourcing their customer service to other countries. But the foreign man that helped me at FEDEX was 100x more polite and helpful then the American lady that answered at buywinesonline. Her employment should be terminated immediately. This has been the worst customer service experience I have ever seen.

Don’t ever order any product from this company! I paid for 2 day shipping and they use FedEx who gave my relatives a 2 hour delivery window and then missed the window by almost 2 full hours. It has now been 6 days after the delivery date for which I paid and the purpose for the gift has come and gone and the company expects me to pay for the delivery fees! They have a claim against FedEx for their failure to timely deliver and they expect me to absorb those fees! FedEx refused to give me a delivery window other than sometime before 8pm which would have required my relatives to stay home all day when my son works all day and my daughter in law has three kids who are in camp or at sports and she is always driving to take or pick them up! It’s unreasonable for them not to have honored the commitment for which I paid, (2 day delivery) I called and complained several times and today June 3 finally demanded my money back and they refused without me absorbing the shipping when I contracted with them to buy and have this product delivered in accordance with my payment ie 2 day! I should not be obligated to pay one cent for this as they failed to hold up their end of the bargain! Their choice of a horrible delivery company should not be my responsibility!

While placing my order, which was a gift, I selected the option to have it gift-wrapped with a note added. I also gave the destination address. However, the system did not allow me to add a note, so I reached out to Customer Service.

Kristina responded very quickly and added the note; she also noticed that the gift was coming to me rather than to the addressee in the note — great catch! She added the note and changed the address, getting everything straightened out in record time and was very friendly and courteous in the process!

So, if it weren't for Kristina, I'd give the ordering process 3 stars — instead, because she was so wonderful and prompt, I'm glad to up it to 5 stars.

I had the worst experience . They show you the selection of the wines if you buy the box. They are mixed I understood that . But what I got i would not even give to a wino in the street. Bottom of the barrel wines. They should call it the headache maker box. I have emalied them 3 times and they dont'respond. Never again

As a new customer (04/01), this is what I experienced on my first order of Cabernet's that included 2 bottles/ Napa and 1 bottle/ Argentina.
-Order date was received as promised.
-Shipment was professionally handled; container well
molded for glass and liquid delivery.
-The wine was SUPERB!
- Ordered 4 more bottles 4/18.
All I need now is a Powerball win and an Eagles Super Bowl trophy.

They sent me a wine with a damaged label. I already sent them two e-mails and they never replied me back. Since they don’t care about their costumers I won’t be buying from them again.
