What a wonderful organisation; I truly cannot thank Charis Grants enough for the support for my 2 children and I. My current family circumstances have made things financially challenging, as I am a single parent to 2 neurodivergent children and am also helping my Mum care for my Dad at home, who is in the later stages of Lewy’s Body Dementia with Parkinson’s.
It was so easy to apply to Charis for consideration and I honestly didn’t think it would come to anything, but was so surprised and delighted when I heard back that I would qualify for an energy efficient tumble-dryer. It has truly changed my life and has made life so much easier. The tumble-dryer is so much more energy efficient and so much faster than any other cheap dryer I have had in the past, that didn’t do the job and just took ages and cost too much to even use. I am so grateful for this life-changing help when life is hard and overwhelming. It makes a difference and I am so very grateful and thankful. Thank you!

I cant thank them enough for giving me a new tumble dryer the one i was using the dial didn't work and it would overheat which was a fire risk so u feel so great grateful that i don't have to stress and worry about this

Absolutely horrendous experience. I have had to keep chasing for my 83 year old mothers washing machine. Kept being told it had been ordered or was going to be shortly when it hadn't been. Then they ordered the wrong machine, another call and they ordered the right machine but gave AO the wrong address. This has taken over a month and still no machine and no delivery date which will now obviously be after Easter. This is on the Eon scheme. I was given an email to send my complaint to and told the Managers respond to them...but apparently they don't it is all passed to another advisor. Two days running no Manager available to talk to and apparently they are very rarely in this department. Very shoddy experience and so my mother will be without a machine for over 6 weeks by the end of this. She has sight issues so is really struggling and whilst we are really grateful they are getting her a slightly larger machine the whole experience has been awful with some staff being very brusque in their responses.

I had a really positive experience with Charis Grants. Through my energy supplier, EDF, I was able to receive a grant for a new white good as my cooker had stopped working. Thanks to Charis, I was provided with a brand new oven to help improve energy efficiency in my home.
The whole process was smooth and straightforward. Delivery was very quick, and when I got a bit mixed up with the delivery details, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful over the phone.
I’m very grateful for the support and would highly recommend Charis Grants to anyone in a similar situation.

Wow! What a brilliant experience I have had with Charis. I am new to Park Home life and the warm heating discount, plus the promise of an airfryer/microwave sounded too good to be true, but it was 100% true. I would highly recommend anyone on a low income to register now.
