When I cancelled they withheld 48 euro and no email to contact to complain. You have to go through their awful phone service, which takes ages to get someone. Update: they got in contact with me the day following the review and are giving me a full refund so well done to them.

Unfortunately, I have a very negative opinion of my cooperation with this company. In particular, the payments department, where you have to repeatedly ask to get your money refunded.

I got a policy with Chill.ie back in July, and my daughter has just received her learner's permit. When I tried to add her to my policy, I was informed that my policy didn't support that because of her age.

I've now been on two separate calls to figure out what the next steps are, and it looks like I'm going to have to get a new policy, but I can't even do that today because Sales are not available. It didn't help that the last person I spoke to, though polite, made it clear that she didn't really care about my problem.

At this point, I'm ready to switch to a different insurance provider and just eat the cost of the unused premium.

The process of entering the details to get a quote was simple, similar to other insurance companies and portals.

The prices were unrealistically high compared to the competition (in the order of 3x-4x) for a driver with reasonable car and 10+ NCD. I won't be purchasing through Chill.

I renewed my motor policy this morning..A very, very helpful Daniel steered me through the process wirh a minimum of fuss and a courteous manner. I am delighted to report an excellent service - and an excellent quote. Well done Daniel.
