Staging a big flop. Can’t see a thing!!!
Nothing wrong with the performers but the staging at the royal Albert hall is appalling!! Sat in the stalls row 2 seats 59 onwards and couldn’t see a thing!!!! Have seen cirque du soleil here before and the performance was in the round. Have no idea why the show was staged like a small theatre. Not worth the money.
Cirque du Soleil - Disappointment
I have seen 4 prior shows & can honestly say "Lucia" was the least entertaining.
The costumes were less than attractive, in fact they were boring & unattractive - NO WOW factorat all!
The acts did NOT flow.
The performers were Good but we didn't see enough of them.
The props were pathetic.
NOT for 1 minute was my breath taken away!!!
Cirque du Soleil, I won't be coming again if this is the best you can offer!!
I disagree with all the previous reviews. This year 2025 is excellent the stage acting music dancing all of itf
I disagree with all the previous reviews. The RAH is beautifully laid out. The music dance choreography staging all of it is excellent
Disappointing
Our show was interrupted due to storms, when the show finally returned for 10 mins, they stopped again for a full intermission, making it a very late week night outing.
The show was disjointed, disappointing and slightly amateurish compared to other shows I’ve seen. Not a word spoken in English and there were sections that were simply boring. Not great bang for buck.
This was the worst one yet
This was the worst one yet, I have seen every single one that has come to Sydney and have been blown away by all of them, this was a load of rubbish, in between the main acts some idiot blow a whistle and kicked a blow up ball and thought it was funny.
If you watch all the other actors on the side while the main show is going on they just looked like they wanted to be somewhere else.
I have seen better jugglers down at Circular Quay
Dont waste your money
Wish I could have avoided this one
As others have stated, this was the worst Cirque du Soleil I have been to. Visited in the Royal Albert Hall. £500 for 2 adults and a child, and yet our seats were higher, but a long way, than any of the acts - it was like looking down at an ant circus performing. But seats aside, the story, there was none, and the acts..nothing new, rehashed from previous shows, but with less grandeur. No excitement, no magic.. it was bland and a chore to sit through.
The two stars is for the effort the…
The two stars is for the effort the cast put in to a performance that was badly thought through and executed. The negative review is centred on the disgusting food and drink prices. They should be ashamed of charging those prices in this current environment. The next issue is the narrow seats, I’m a normal sized individual but there seemed to be a lot of overweight people there who were encroaching on other people’s seats. Case in point the lady next to my wife, who when asked if she could move over a tad, reacted badly and swapped seats with her daughter who then abused my wife whilst my granddaughter sat by. I challenged her behaviour but she refused to concede that she was in the wrong. Crawl back under that rock if you can’t walk amidst society like a decent human being. Another problem is people coming in late, not a few minutes but 10 to 15 minutes late. They then use their phone torches to locate their seats and interrupt other people’s experience because they have no consideration. If you can’t get there with sufficient time they should be locked out period. The sad reality is that obesity is so prevalent now in society that they need to enlarge the seats to cater for these individuals.
I attended the 8pm show on 04/01/2025
I attended the 8pm on 04/01. This is the 5th Cirque Du Soleil show I have attended. WELL, this one takes the cake! What a load of rubbish, not ONE word was said in ENGLISH. A water stream falling down and a non speaking person try to catch it in a cup. Costumes with people hanging their heads out the sides. 2 couples next to and in front of me consuming alcohol and yelling/whoooing ALL NIGHT. A kid behind saying MUMMY MUMMY MUMMY for 2 hours. An 180cm intoxicated male sitting in front of me with Yes, sunglasses on his head all night, left me with near nothing to see. Raygun and series of MR BEAN would have been more exciting to watch and cheaper than the near $500 for 3 seats!

I love cirque du soleil and have been to many shows. This one was the worst I've seen. Very disappointing. The acts weren't as good. The costumes were boring. The story , what story
I found this show in Gran Canary completely overpriced
I found this show in Gran Canary well OVER PRICED
for the entertainment given.
30% of the time was taken up with a miming man looking for his hat and conversing with the audience.
Most of the acts were quite good but to short.
Instead of wasting your time go to a good restaurant have a 3 cause meal get more pleasure and still be in pocket

What a horrible show and a complete waste of money. Reminded me of a school talent quest but with no adorable kids as a buffer. The worst cirque show we've seen. They've really gone downhill over the years. Will not attend any other shows in the coming years. Who at cirque approved this show? Horrible.
Twas the night before Christmas was…
Twas the night before Christmas was HORRIBLE!!! It was like a middle school Christmas performance!!! Don't go!!!! It was laughable, a waste of time and waste of money!!! Can I get my $400 back?? The choreography was out of sinc, the juggler kept dropping his pins and the lady that was part of the roller skating act act got dropped!! Maybe I showed up for rehearsals not the show!! What a colossal waste of time and resources!!!

I saw cds "twas the night before" it was sad. I have seen 3 other shows and loved and bragged about them. I took my daughter to this one and was so excited for her to see one. It looked like a highschool drama team directed it. Three quarters of it was group dancing. I felt like I had to apologize for it. Sad.
Incredibly disappointed
We drove for three hours to watch Luzia, I wish we hadn't. It doesn't compare to previous shows, which I have loved.
The acts definitely weren't of the same skill level as previous shows. They're still incredibly talented but not the same.
The storyline was impossible to follow.
The whistling clown is just odd.
Random characters roaming around for I don't know what reason.
To top it off, it was extremely cold in there, the lady next to me took up a third of my seat and the choice of food was awful and extremely expensive.
The toilets are also ridiculously small.
We left after the first act. Overall it was a very expensive waste of a day.
Worst one by far!
Whilst I really do appreciate the amazing talent, the Sydney show was extremely boring compared to previous Cirque Du Soleil shows.
- Spent majority of the time watching people dry the stage, during the show.
- The whistle blowing communication to the audience went on for so long it became annoying.
- The room was freezing cold.
(Be prepared and take your warmest jacket)
- At one point we were just looking at a red curtain whist the singer had rotated to the other side.
I have been to 4 other Cirque du Soleil which have all been incredible, nail biting and you honestly don’t know where to look, unfortunately I found this show very underwhelming. If I wanted to go to a musical I would have booked one.
On the plus side the pictures in the waterfall were really beautiful.
The best cirqus
It's the best show ever, I had a great experience. I really liked the Kooza, at Santa Monica, California. Highly recommended!

Be careful if you spend big bucks on the experience. I paid a large amount of money for the experience in Vegas. It was F1 weekend so I went in person to the box office to ensure I knew when the time it would start. Well. They changed the start time and told me via email which I missed because I was doing F1 stuff. They did not care. Was given a big too bad and F you. Saw the show. Missed the experience. Kind ruined the show for me.
Had an amazing time
Had an amazing time, worth checking out. Hope to see next years show.
I enjoyed the show
I enjoyed the show, was it worth the money, probably not. I had no objection to paying $20 for parking, but the carpark was unsealed so had to walk through dust from the carpark to the big top. Once inside, the the food and drinks were overpriced. The porta loos were the smallest I have come across, my advice ladies wear a dress not trousers 🙄, lucky to be able to close the door. The seating once inside was not much better very cramped and small. Unfortunately, I would be hesitant to go to another Cirque du Soleil 😕
