Rubbish company

Rubbish company. Slow to pay, silly nonsense excuses for late payment.

Phone was perfect, apparently not when they eventually looked at it.

Avoid this company.

Not bad if you don't mind waiting a while

Processed slowly despite Royal Mail tracking showing they had delivered it a week before it was tested, and not same day payments as advertised. Have not received replies to any of the emails I have sent them. That said, I received the generous amount I was quoted with no issues, despite the fact that the item was virtually obsolete.

Would 100% recommend

I had an iphone 6 with a broken screen. Click2Recycle offered me a fantastic price, far better than any of the other recycle companies on the web. My experience with this kind of company is that you send them your phone and they offer you considerably less for it one they've received it. I had this in the back of my mind so I checked their return terms. A £5 postage fee which I thought was very reasonable (the other I considered were £10).
They sent me the packaging to send my item for free and off it popped.
I was pleasantly surprised to receive an email honoring the price quoted to me 3 days later.

Terrible company- don't trust

Terrible company to deal with. My phone was good condition, got the email with postal instructions, got follow up emails and then got 1/3 of original quoted price in my PayPal account. Tried to find out what had happened and according to them an engineer said LCD screen was damaged/burnt ?? They sent email giving me 2 days to respond to new offer but this email ended up in my junk ?? All other emails pinged into my account except this time sensitive one.
They won't give me engineers report on phone, nor any more info. Say phone has now gone and tough !! Terrible company to deal with.

Sent mint iPhone 5c against an offer of £62. Heard nothing so tracked it down to find they paid me £18 having found faults with the screen. Absolute sharks. Use one of the more reputable trustworthy companies. Not happy, I would rather give it away than be conned.

The only thing I'd comment on is that they didn't offer a postage pack/ envelope like other recycling companies do.

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. It would APPEAR that some people may be getting the money originally offered, however ours was reduced from £70 to £5. Worse than that, this they claim one email was sent, we had no trace of it, BUT THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SERVICES. IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG THEY WILL NOT TALK TO YOU. Please use someone else. We have had many good experiences from other companies, do not risk using this one.

Avoid

Avoid. Company claimed 'LCD burn in' on my smartphone and degraded the offer from £140 to £20. I noticed no such thing so paid £5 to have it returned. After inspecting, I couldn't detect even the slightest hint of screen burn.

Since sent it to a rival recycle service that paid me the full quoted value following an inspection - no issues found.

Also beware, they only give you two days to respond before they automatically initiate the payment and keep your phone. Fortunately I caught it in time but would have been well out of pocket otherwise.

Given the frequency of this claimed 'fault' with other customers it's difficult not to think they're pulling a fast one.

Lesson learned - don't always go for the highest offer.
Second lesson learned - always check TrustPilot!

Hi Fred,

Thank you for your review, I do apologise that you are not happy with your trade-in.

All of the devices are thoroughly checked by the engineers once they are received,
LCD burn on Samsung devices is a very common problem sometime this is more noticeable then others and this does make the device beyond economical repair.

As per the faulty option on our website it does state that the device must not be beyond economical repair.

I am happy to hear that you have sold you device on,

Regards
Tasha
