After sending my iPad to click2recycle using the packaging materials and freepost label, I was surprised it took 11 days (inc weekends) to receive payment. I had to email them for an update, but their... See more

I found the service to be excellent

I found the service to be excellent. There was a slight delay between my phone being received and click2recycle contacting me. But from that point the payment was processed, I received the price quoted for my phone. I would recommend click2recycle. Make sure your phone is fully charged (so it can be tested when they receive it), and well packaged when you send it in.

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE THIS …

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE DAY LIGHT ROBBERS.
I used this company to sell my samsung 6 they offered me £144 , I emailed them to send me the address etc as I didn't have a printer, they replied to me and the email went into my inbox, I sent them my phone which was In perfect working order no scratches etc, I received a email to my spam box as I was ill in bed didn't see it, I had 2 days to answer them, they said that my phone had LCD burn out on the screen, which is absolutely rubbish, as I didn't see email they sent me a cheque for £20. You can't talk to these people only through email. I asked them to return my phone and basically they have said cause I didn't reply within the 2 days it's tough. So they have ripped me off for £124 and it looks like I am not the only one. This company should not be allowed to carry on doing this, it's appalling. I think somebody should be able to do something as this has to be against the law

I wish I had seen these reviews before … con!

I wish I had seen these reviews before sending them my phone. Sent them a Samsung S7 Edge in perfect working order, they emailed and said screen needed replacing and changed offer from £232 to £30! Fuming. Plus as others have said I need to pay them £5 for them to return it to me (with no instructions on how to pay them). Total con! Do not use this company!
I got the phone back - without the original box I sent it in or the earphones etc I had sent. They refuse to send those back. Needless to say I tried the phone when I received it and it is indeed still in perfect working order with nothing wrong with the screen. I repeat - a scam! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
Click2recycle tried to get my review removed (as they try with so many negative reviews - scroll back through the pages to see how many). Fortunately I kept all the emails so I could easily prove what that had done. Keep your emails from them if giving a Neg review, or they will try to get your's removed too.

No quibble

Quick response, no changing the trade in price once they got the tablet like others do. No fuss. Recommended

Awful Company

Awful Company

As others have said.. i sent in a VERY good condition phone, offered £40. I sent it in a sturdy box with a lot of bubble packaging. They halved the offer and stated it was cracked. Absolute lie. They kindly offer just £20.
Their engineers cracked it and I have to foot the cost. absolute criminals.

Even though i wont get as much elsewhere, ive paid the return fee as ill be damned if theyre going to make ANY money off my phone.

Warning! Do not use this company

Do not use this company. I had a Samsung galaxy s6 in very good condition, working perfectly well no scratches on front or back, due to keeping in a case plus never been dropped. Online they quoted £195. So sent it off, received a email stating it had screen burn and was unrepairable and offered me £25 . which I refused! Catch no. 2 you only get 2 days to contact them so do keep an eye on your emails. If you don't contact then in the time limit, they automatically keep the gadget and pay you the lower amount. They do not have a contact number (I did ask for one)..
I received my phone back today, yes in perfect working order (no screen burn) but they didn't return it in its original box that I sent it in! I did request that I wanted it returned in its box.. I have emailed and asked for it to be sent on.. But won't be holding my breath... Make sure you read all the terns and conditions.. I had to pay £5 for the return of my phone..

Do not use this company

Do not use this company. I asked for my phone to be returned and was asked to pay £5 postage. I have emailed 4 times with no response. There is no process on how to pay the £5 to them. You have to pay within 48 hours of receiving the offer. I am taking this further.

Not honest

I sent them two iphones with in full working condition for which they provided satisfactory offer of 244 GBP. After their testing, they said both phones were faulty and offered me 52 GBP. I took the phones back by paying 5 pounds each for shipping, there was nothing wrong with the phones. The faults described by them do not exist. The website is just not honest
