If you value your car consider your choices.
Various unsatisfactory incidents with DLG Perth. Lack of customer care lack of quality control. My car was returned seemingly damaged in transit had to be taken away and repaired again.
DLG had my car for a total of 18 working days where I was told by a local body shop it would take them 3 days.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing to have but I so wished I had paid the extra fee to have my choice of having the work done at my local body shop.
All in all not a pleasant experience.

It was only a small repair, but went well.

the garage in Perth is run by a bunch of cowboys with zero accountability
how can a garage even run like this
my car went in for a scratch repair and the first time they returned it with more damage
the second time it went back they returned it with the charger port broken and glue inside the charge port
we have fully 100% Eletric vehicle and now the vehicle now doesn't even charge, how does this pass compliance does this garage even have compliance ?
we have a mobility vehicle and i am now going to making a official compliant to mobility scheme to stop using this garage
the way they have treated is beyond shocking, they should really not treat people like this its just so horrible
DGL bandits and thieves of your reading this you are now going to face full force of the law on this
its shocking the way you treat others peoples property when you have been entrusted for it

Our wheelchair-accessible vehicle was…
Our wheelchair-accessible vehicle was in this garage for repairs for almost three months, due to being damaged in an incident.
When it was eventually returned, none of the electric reels/switches were working at the back of the vehicle, and it had to be returned to the garage for repair. Subsequently, it was later found that the phone-connected navigation system was ‘absent’, even though it worked before the repair, but the garage is totally denying this could have been disconnected, during the electrical repairs.
Also, the wheelnut locking device was missing, when the car was returned, despite being left in the car, when it went into the garage, as I thought they might need to remove the rear wheels, due to the damage caused by the incident.
When I complained about this, a form was sent to me by email, which I hadn’t seen before, and the wheelnut tick-box was unmarked, but the tick-box for tools was ticked, and the wheelnut tool was the only tool left in the car.
Churchill insurance took up this complaint, but just repeated everything the garage said, without considering any other information, leading to a total lack of trust in both this company and the garage, now!!
(We had to pay to get all our wheel nuts removed and replaced.)

Pay the extra and put to a good body shop
My insurer (Churchill) advised me to book my car into DLG Perth after it was damaged, At first all went well car was collected and courtesy car left, i was called within 2-3 days with details of the repair that was needed Replace/paint boot lid, repair/paint back bumper, replace rear fog light, repair scratches on rear light cluster. I was told that repair would be 2 weeks maximum and they would give me updates throughout the process. No updates were given, after 2 weeks I gave them a call to ask if the car was ready to be told that it would be ready in the next couple of days. heard nothing for 1 week then I was told it was ready, unfortunately I would be away on business but to go ahead and deliver car back and my wife would do the handover. When the car was dropped off she noticed that there was some condensation in the rear light cluster that had been repaired, this was reported back to DLG and car was rebooked for investigation on the 13th August, when I returned from my business trip I had a chance to have a look over the repair that had been carried out and I was shocked to find that it looked like the boot lid had been thrown on without regard to proper alignment rear spoiler was also misaligned , number plate trim was hanging off. Advised DLG that I had found that the repair was substandard and that I would drop off the car myself so I could speak directly to workshop personnel, Car was dropped of on the 13th August for what I thought would be a few days and I was told my car would be a priority as it was a return, after 1 week I had heard nothing so I gave them a call, was told that the repair was ongoing and would be ready soon, heard nothing for another week than called again to be told that workshop controller would call me back, this happened a few times without callback, was finally called on the 28th August and told car was ready travelled down the following day and collected car. Thankfully car was repaired to a decent standard with boot lid properly aligned and all other items put right, I did notice when I returned home that some of the interior trim around the rear window had not been fitted correctly but i managed to remove and refit myself. I will say that the staff were always polite even when they did not call back when they said they would. but the overall experience was less than satisfactory. I would not use them again I would pay the extra money and put it to a local body shop that I know and trust to provide good service and repair.

Absolute fantastic service
Absolute fantastic service, kept me informed all the way from start to finish, you wouldn't know that a repair had to have been carried out absolutely fantastic job.
Fast Response , Fast Repair , Just Needs Attention To Communication
Following an non fault accident , DLG was very quick to get in touch and collect our car from the recovery company. Good communication during the repair process and car returned all repaired. The only issue I had was our car was dropped off in our driveway and key given to our child. Car is12 years old and had damage to the rear quarter. Repaired the rear quarter and refurbed the alloy wheel which now stands out against the rest of the wheels.

Fantastic repair and serviced ahead of schedule
Fantastic repair and the car came back cleaned which is over and above what I expected. My hit and run bumper and scratches where not ponly repaired perfectly, the bumper was the latest model including extra light. I wish the damage had not been done and was upset that somneone would do this and leave, however the overall repair and return service of DLG was exceptional. They kept me informed on the process regularly and even got the car back to me way a head of the predicted date.

All was great apart from forgetting a courtesy car on day 1.but they rectified that next day, they kept in touch the job was completed and car returned 3 days before they had said and they have done a very good job. New rear door, pulled out rear arch and then resprayed and rear bumper paint is a great match and all good
Very impressive company.
Was very impressed with this company from pickup time to return of my vehicle. The gentleman involved with collection and delivery of my were courteous and very easy to converse when. My car was collect in Aberdeen and conveyed to Perth. I was advised when it arrived in Perth and was updated throughout the repairs process how the repairs were progressing. The car was returned to me exactly when the company said it would and was clean. Throughout my dealings with the company they performed exactly as one would expect. I certainly would rather this company.
Not happy with the service
Not happy with the service, the parts needed to fix the car took a long time to arrive to the garage, this is not their fault, but once the parts arrived, they broke something (fuel pump) in the garage while moving the car and it took another month to be fixed. I didn't even get an apology for it. Very bad communication with clients. They picked up the car on the 26th February and I had it back on the 15th of May

Really good service from start to finish. The door looks brand new. Selected by insurance company and you’ve done and a great job.
Fantastic repair service
Fantastic repair service, was quick and kept up to date throughout the entire repair. You would never know the car was ever damaged.
The only two minor issues I had was the car arrived on a bank holiday weekend on the Friday and they called and left me a voicemail asking me to call them back. I tried calling back within 5 minutes and had an automatic voicemail saying that they were shut for the bank holiday but to leave a voicemail and then it hung up immediately before I could leave a message, I could not speak to them until Tuesday.
I also tried to change my contact number and email on the online portal but it kept reverting back the next day to the default details.
Top service !
