They need to stop all service get new management in as the present management couldn't run a bath.
The worst company you could possibly imagine.
Start again from scratch a rating of 1.2 must tell you something?
To cut a very long story short they didn't deliver when supposed to.
OK mistakes can happen but 3days I was mislead in believing they would deliver.

Rubbish Management
DPD Portugal need to take their management to a business course in their parent company in the UK. Staff in their customer services department are rude and just tell lies. You can't speak to management, it's a joke. The driver faked an address,a signature and my item disappeared. Though, I am suing them for mental stress and wasting my time. Even if it takes years.

I ordered a product from Worten and it was scheduled to be delivered at 7pm on Tuesday (June 20th), so I planned my day accordingly to return from the office at 6pm to receive my order. At 12:16 I get a call from DPD from an employee being very rude and complaining that I am not at home. I explained that the information I had was that the delivery would be made at 19:00 and after a brief discussion about how to resolve it, we arranged for the product to be delivered on Friday. The next day, Wednesday, I receive another call at 3:46 pm from another DPD employee once again asking me why I am not at home to receive the order. I explain that I had already agreed to see him on Friday and he confirmed after re-examining his work order.
As DPD cannot know at any time of the day that they will arrive, I agreed to stay home on Friday to receive the item.
On Friday I call to confirm they will deliver as I have taken time off and stayed home. The DPD employee told me to call "customer support". I sent an email asking for confirmation and received a confirmation that the package would be delivered today.
Being at home, waiting for delivery, I had growing concerns that DPD would not deliver, so I checked the tracking continuously. Around 14:00 I noticed that the package had changed locations and the delivery status was changed to "RECIPIENT NOT AT LOCATION".
This is obviously false as I was at home all day waiting for them to come. So I call DPD customer support and they tell me they'll check and see if the driver can come back. They never called back.
The next working day - Monday, the same message appears without no further information...
"RECIPIENT NOT AT LOCATION". No calls, no text messages.
Essentially they steal packages this way, be aware!

Worst delivery service ever. Couldn't find the address for a week and then just stopped responding or doing anything.

Horrible service, I hired a year and 3 months ago I paid for transport, I paid for insurance and the box, in addition to never having reached the recipient, arrived at the sender with everything damaged without being able to use anything that was inside.
I lost everything I had there and I even lost shipping money

DPD - NUNCA MAIS-JAMAIS-NEVER
As I have done several times before I sent on 4/10/2022 a large box with various personal items from Lisbon, Portugal to Dublin, Ireland via @Eurosender. Unfortunately Eurosender ,this time, used DPD to transport the goods.
It was supposed to take around 6 days , but at the end of 2 weeks I had yet to receive the consignment.
After several emails to Eurosender, who by the way were very helpful and worked tirelessly on my behalf in contacting DPD, the latter informed 1- (24/10/2022) that box was stopped by Customs in France and I should provide a more detailed information on contents ( strange because of free circulation of goods in EU, but not impossible- also why didn’t they inform us of the problem before being contacted).The requested information was provided immediately.
2- On 27/10/2022 I was then informed that “ parcel is held in the lost and found department “. What? So it was not stopped by the French Customs ?
3- emails to and fro continue, with no results
4- 2/11/2022 Officially informed that DPD had lost track of shipment
Btw last input in the tracking form was on 10/10/2022 saying entry in warehouse. Previously there was an entry on 8/10/22 from Le Mans chronopost , so we know parcel was in France
5- In conclusion, DPD not only failed to inform clients but also when put on the spot provided misleading and erroneous information. I’m being nice as I wouldn’t like to call them liars.
Previous experiences with DPD where not much better. Twice in Lisbon I got a message that my( small) parcel was not delivered because nobody was at home. I had stayed all day at home , on both occasions, waiting for the delivery
Another time, in this case in Dublin, waiting for a small parcel from England , consulted tracking which said “ delivered” . After many phone calls , the problem was eventually solved. But again misleading info.
So problems with DPD arise within many countries, do I blame DPD in Portugal, France, UK, Ireland ?
I only know that a company whose ethos allows for such behaviour and impropriety is not one I want to deal with. So BEWARE.

These people cannot see daylight as they have their heads so far up their rectums. Do not expect any actual service from these people and you have a 35% chance of ever receiving your parcel/package!!! Enough said!!!
They broke my TV and didn't reimburse me
I sent a parcel from Portugal to Austria. When it arrived it looked like when I sent it, after unpacking it it turned out that the TV that I sent got damaged though. I informed DPD about this and they told me they would get back to me ASAP. That wasn't the case though and I had to constantly remind them of my case. Once they even accidentally closed it. After more than five (!) months they in the end told me that they wouldn't reimburse me. The reason they gave was that I should just have declined the delivery. But I had no reason to do that, since it looked fine from the outside. I really wish I'd chosen a more reliable company. :/

Although I do live in a remote area with a poor phone signal, DPD(PT) remain the only delivery service who are unable to find my house. They make little effort (if any) to to what they are paid to do - namely deliver goods. Their excuse is that they cannot find my house on GPS. Well... get out of your vans and ask someone!!! Every other delivery service can find me. Useless.

Parcel lost at the warehouse
Parcel lost at the warehouse 2 months ago and this seems to be "normal" to DPD. After multiple contacts by phone and email, they have been unable to inform me about the parcel's whereabouts, within their own warehouse. Client support could only give standard answers, there was no follow up, calls would drop and and I had to tell the story all over again, and before Christmas, they simply stopped answering calls.
I stongly recommend that you do not hand over your items to this DPD, unless you are ready to lose them forever or get a nervous breakdown.
Driver called me saying he was coming…
Driver called me saying he was coming in, I've waited and nothing. He didn't show up nor he bothered warning me. Before lunch time I called he said he was coming soon, he was just pranking me again, shutting off his phone moments after and seen nowhere.
I then received an email saying they attempted to deliver it and to reschedule it for another day.
What a joke of delivery service. I would give it a 0 if I could.
