Buyer beware!

Buyer beware! The AirPods I purchased were counterfeits, not genuine refurbs. The company has miraculously disappeared from social media now.

We received great customer service from the guy who works there ,he was professional ,polite and very knowledgeable about all the products,he is an excellent representative for the store ,we will definitely be going there for all of our tech needs.

Been reading reviews and also not happy…

Been reading reviews and also not happy little or no communication, ordered apple airpods and beats pill came to nearly £90 almost 3 months ago now i made a mistake on item being sent to me (not correct address) so royal mail held the post and it had been sent back to them but apparently they did exact same thing as me and didnt right there address on it so now its down to missing post they have to claim off royal mail to get refunded then they can refund me but with little or no contact it is very difficult i contacted tanya who which gave me aload of abuse back how it was my fault if i dont take my negative review they wont issue refund atall how can u justify saying its my fault when they didnt right there address incase something like this happend? Seems like an honest and easy mistake to rectify would neva order again off here i would rather just pay the full price from a legit site and know what im getting only reply i seem to get is when i write a review so ill keep waiting and fighting to get my refund / see i write a review get a response in a few minutes when trying to message just ignored so why didnt you have a return to sender slip if it has been lost? Or why not email mail me before you sent it out knowing there was only a postcode ? Like i said easy mistake to rectify not 3 months Im keeping this review on here like many others so people can make up there mind wouldnt order from you again since i can get a response from you on this what is your website and address? Neither come up on here anymore and ive neva seen your address 🤷🏽‍♂️

Thanks for the review , the issue as you have stated was that you provided the incorrect address for the item so the item was dispatched and only after dispatch did you make us aware.
We have explained numerous times that the item has not been returned to us and therefore we cannot refund you for items that are lost and lost through now fault of our own.
We have numerous times explained that we have provided all information to Royal Mail for them to establish if they will refund us for the goods. If Jamie we had sent the items to the incorrect address we would be liable snd and at fault but we didn’t and you seem to assume that we should lose the products and refund yourself for your error.
As for ordering from a “legit site” may we recommend you provide the correct address details as no company would refund your payment due to the incorrect information being provided and as for us not writing the address for a return this is something we don’t do as IF and item is not delivered by Royal Mail we can commence a claim when an item as in this case was delivered to an incorrect address this is outside of our control.
So you have provided us a 1 star review based on your error.

Hi Jamie , in regards to your edit , a return slip is enclosed inside the parcel but when sending we appreciate that the buyer has placed the correct address information. We note you claim “it an easy mistake to rectify” you fail to mention you have also contacted Royal Mail and we can only assume they also didn’t find it to be an easy mistake to rectify.
As for the review Jamie you are welcome to leave it for people to make their own minds up , but the main point being was that you failed to provide the correct address information.
We would also point out Jamie the items are currently held at Wellingbourgh sorting office (your local postage sorting site) so I’m sure you could take id along and collect your items.

Frustrated

Frustrated! I bought two pairs of ‘AirPods’ order number 2632 was happy at first. The silver end came off one of the sets and one of the AirPods stopped working. Initially I couldn’t get hold of anyone. Finally I did! Sent them back as requested - they’ve been signed for (so I know they’ve got them) and now I can’t get ANY response AT ALL. Things are faulty sometimes I get that, but don’t scam people. Just apologise and rectify it. We all have responsibilities and bills to pay. It’s been a tough year. I have two mobile phone numbers and an address. Website has been removed. Next stop small claims court…what other choice is there?

Edit - thanks Richard unfortunately the email address you’ve provided can’t be found (?) and the email I have just sent bounced back - I did have this issue before. I have also sent a message to the phone number I previously communicated with and unfortunately I haven’t had a response.

Edit - thanks Richard! I have received a message now and I look forward to receiving the replacement AirPods! As soon as they arrive I’ll update my review.

I purchased two pairs of ear pods, one arrived, one didn’t - the ones that did arrive are fake I think and will get checked and won’t hold a connection, the other pair mysteriously were missed off the delivery! I actually spoke to someone straight after who told me the other pair would be sent to me right away.company - every channel I’ve tried to contact them on they’ve blocked me.

Second pair of ear pods have yet to arrive.

So we have Richard… head of communications here eh! How great to hear from you. Yes, what’s app- read and ignored, messenger read and ignored, email is just rejected on postmaster for some reason.

The phone number 07306 343730 never answered.

Order number #4513. Air pod pros received. Air pod second gen didn’t arrive and still haven’t. Total paid was £85.85. I had a reply by email telling me my order was ‘fulfilled’ it wasn’t. The rest is history, if you can advise.

7/09/2021 - Update - maybe blocked now!? I’ve had no reply from little Rich above. Reported now to trading standards. Took £85 sent me back one pair of used ear pods. Rubbish, avoid at all costs, so do not recommend. They really are as bad as all the reviews you will see on here. As for arsey Richard in charge of replies. This guy is clearly a little ‘uni’ mate in charge of ridiculing everyone’s ‘bad’ reviews on here. AVOID THESE AT ALL COSTS.

But I’ll certainly try , you claim one item was missing and that you actually spoke to someone about this but then state you have been blocked on every channel 🤔 I hope that’s not down to how you communicate with such eloquence that meant you were required to be blocked 😳
I also note that you claim the item wasn’t what you expected this considering you agreed to the disclaimer checkbox stating you had read and understood , you most probably missed it as you were reviewing some further playground abuse you wished to distrust …who knows ?

Thanks for the edited reply and a nod towards my education (appreciated ) anyway you claim I’m arsey ? How’s that Rick because I responded to your review which had a few inaccuracies ?.
The issue with trustpilot is unless you pay for their upgraded services then people with the iq of a radish can then post untrue reviews with statements like “AVOID AT ALL COSTS” now if we paid the £1700 + vat per year subscription then reviews like that are removed by trustpilot but if you don’t things like 107 positive reviews are removed as they are not proven to be genuine 🤔
So whilst your inaccurate nonsense review can be posted here true and accurate ones cannot.
Also I note a comment in relation to my height , so again you have to be extremely rude and pass comments about my dwarfism , maybe I should pass comment about your weight fatty but I haven’t.
So I will respond to all reviews and state facts if that is what you claim as being arsey then please accept my apologies but it won’t make any difference.

Avoid like the plague

Bought a pair of AirPods in May. Almost immediately they started constantly disconnecting and reconnecting. Reported them as faulty over a month ago via email, chat and WhatsApp. Eventually got an email back last week advising that a replacement set would be sent the following day….still waiting. Avoid at all costs. Zero customer service and only interested in getting a hold of people’s money.

These are fake items

These are fake items. I bought a pair of AirPod Pros for £50. No serial numbers and the Noise Cancellation didn’t work. When I returned them, FT denied having received them despite having Royal Mail tracking saying they’d been delivered. They were very evasive in communication and refused to accept that the items were fake, although interestingly also refused to say they were real. They claim to be a large company and have various different depts but get the feeling it is a very small possibly 1 or 2 person (Helen and Dave) team operating from home. I ended up getting my bank to refund the money as fonetech’s juvenile attitude was too stressful to deal with. It irks me hugely that companies like this exist and profit from scamming people. It’s the dishonesty and lack of morality more than anything - I guess if 1 in 2 people give up and don’t pursue them they still make a tidy profit and not sure morality hangs heavy on them. Not sure what the positive reviews on here are about - maybe their friends? Maybe fakes? I’ve just bought a pair of generic non-Apple BT earbuds on Amazon for £18 and am happy with the result. Avoid Fonetech - if you want fake AirPod Pros you can get them for £30 or less on FB marketplace - that said you’re better off with decent generic brand and not giving anything to these scammers.

I wish I looked on here before buying anything from these scammers. Bought Air-pods, first one was faulty, got a second one, again faulty after a few days. I was told to send the second one back which I did, now they are not picking up calls and their emails are bouncing back! SCAM
