Quick delivery,polite delivery driver

My experience with GLS Ireland has been extremely frustrating, from the missing parcel itself to the way I was treated when trying to resolve the situation.
My parcel was marked as out for delivery on Friday but never arrived, and the tracking information has not been updated since.
When I contacted customer service, I was told an investigation would be opened. When I called again the following day, I was told the investigation would take three days from that day, despite this not being explained during my previous call.
During that second call, the agent, Karolina, repeatedly spoke over me and misunderstood what I was saying. I was explaining that, on a previous occasion involving a different parcel, another GLS agent had told me she would message the driver to request delivery. Karolina insisted this had never happened and accused me of lying, despite my repeatedly clarifying that I was talking about a separate incident. She continued talking over me and needlessly verbally berating me before disconnecting the call.
I subsequently received an explanation from GLS Cork that my parcel had not been delivered because the road was closed. My road has not been closed. I asked GLS Cork Depot to provide details of the alleged closure, including when and where it supposedly occurred. I am still awaiting these details.
I also attempted to escalate the matter by email, only to encounter further difficulties, including an email address that rejected my message. When I raised the issue publicly on Instagram, GLS apologised and asked me to send my tracking details by direct message. However, their account settings prevented me from initiating a message, so I asked them to contact me instead. Comments on the post were then limited, leaving me unable to continue the discussion there (they do this here and on Facebook as well.. spoiler alert, there is no Trustpilot Support Form).
At every stage, I have had to chase GLS for information and try another channel to get someone to address the problem. The missing parcel is one issue, but the lack of clear communication and the treatment I received from customer service have made the experience considerably worse.
I expect a delivery company to deliver parcels, communicate honestly when something goes wrong, and treat customers with basic respect when they ask for help. Unfortunately, my experience with GLS Ireland has fallen well short of those expectations.
I am still seeking a clear explanation for the failed delivery, confirmation of when my parcel will arrive, and a proper response to my complaint about the customer service agent.
Edit: The same copied and pasted blurb. There's no such thing as a "Trustpilot Support form".

No matter how times I complain your driver still drops my package at the end of my driveway by the road in the rain where it always gets damaged. The most insulting part of it is that there is a sign there that specifically says to deliver packages to the house and not leave them in the road and he leaves the package right underneath the sign every single time. So as always if I could leave zero stars I would but I guess the worst I can do is one star.

I’m dissatisfied with this company, I’ve had a few deliveries done with them and the items did arrive which I can’t fault them for I’m just really dissatisfied with receiving emails at 6 or 8 in the morning saying the item is out for delivery and then by 7 pm there has been no sign of the delivery and it doesn’t get dropped off until days later. I just think the company needs to work on this going forward.

Constantly deliver to the wrong address and do not communicate to resolve the issue. 0/10.

I’m always absolutely delighted. I’ve had the same driver/courier for 10 years now, and he’s one of my favourite couriers. He’s always friendly, funny, helpful and lovely.

In my experience GLS are the worst delivery company. They have failed to delivery any item I have purchased. I have had to collect my items at random neighbours (and I live in the country side) where they have been delivered to. The last item has been lost which I am still trying to follow up and get refunded. In the future I will be requesting the name of the delivery company before I purchase an item so that I can avoid using this company.

Adding to my previous review, I'm still not impressed about the fact that I got an email that my order was delivered on the night of 16th Oct, when it wasn't.
Although, the order got delivered the following morning at about 12ish, and when I asked the courier he said he didn't know about the email that it was from the office.
Why mislead your customers?
I was prompted to write the review cos I have had similar encounter with a few different services before.
I'm going to delete the first review, and I have another parcel on the way with you.
If it's delivered without any misleading message, you get a favourable review in return.
Thanks.

When the driver arrived, we was talking on the phone so I opened my front door and waited for him to get the delivery out of the van. Whilst still on the phone, he left the package in the middle of the driveway. As it was a package I couldn't move alone, I had to empty the contents in the middle of my driveway as it started to rain. I cannot understand why delivering packages to the door when someone is there to accept them is not standard practice!
