Order cancellation

Bought a dyson v10 and money was taken out my account for it to be promptly cancelled with only a generic apology email and a subscription to their newsletter.

No pressure to buy. Great staff.

From the start there was no pressure to buy. Advice was given and nothing was too much trouble. I spoke to Gary initially and was given a printed quote and that quote lasted for about 2 weeks which gives you time to think about it. I went back with a few more questions then decided to buy my new iPhone. I had the copy service which was done within the hour and the young man who did it also made sure I was happy with things before leaving the store. I would recommend going here initially as the service was excellent and if there’s a problem they say to go back for help. This is one store I will go to first to have a look.

Purchase a bed frame from the new…

Purchase a bed frame from the new Sutton Coldfield branch, lovely store very helpful sales assistant explained and showed use how easy the ottoman was to open .
I told them that I won’t need it for up to 3 weeks it was in stock at merry hill so was reserved for us so far so good BUT that’s where it ends .
Book delivery for 9/07/26 I ask after If i would I get a confirmation about the delivery tod yes I would no confirmation so I though maybe I’d get a email or a text or a WhatsApp a few days before No. Now I this day and age what retail or online suppliers don’t sent you something by means of one of those three or even a landline.
So I phone the day before to ask if the delivery was still booked in at first they couldn’t fine it had to explain it was reserved at another store they then rang me back to confirm it was on there warehouse, so I ask why I hadn’t had by one means or another a notification they said nothing was sent up to do this !!!
Delivery day arrived no phone call a possible time ( it says there driver will contact you on the day to confirm the time frame )I phone later that day to fine out if it was coming or not it was it did .
The men who came were respectful to the property but found it very difficult to understand when we if they would remove there shoes I asked if they had shoe cover they didn’t I got them to take trainers of as there was a brand new carpet in the room. They completely the assemble very professional. Now they arrived in a old white box van no Harvey Norman branding on the van no uniform why I’m pointing this out is I paid £89 for a delivery plus service
There is a small family firm we have felt with over the years Cooke’s furniture own brand vans where company branded clothing bring floor coverings shoe covers can you see why I’m so disappointed about the handling of this delivery I will not buy any think from a company that can’t communicate with there customers after they taken the money and use contractors which may know there job but certainly don’t do anything for you customer image.
After receiving a email from Harvey Norman telling me it’s been passed to the store and they would contact me directly I have heard nothing via any means of communication sorry to say I’m not surprised this is very bad customer service from a multi national store but like most companies now the bigger there are the less they care about there customers

Great service, knowledgeable staff and competitive prices

Had a great experience at HN Sutton Coldfield. Went in to browse and walked out with a coffee machine and straighteners as they were both offered at very competitive prices. Michelle was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to have assist us. In fact, all of the staff we had encountered that day were very polite and informative. Great service and will definitely be returning, :)

Excellent customer service!
I bought a wet mop from Harvey Norman online which arrived swiftly but the motor shaft broke after 2 months. I directly contacted the mop brand for help but they were extremely unhelpful so I popped into Harvey Norman in Sutton Coldfield who agreed straight away to exchange it for a new one or choose another brand. I chose a Shark wet mop as I know their customer service is brilliant should I need them. Thank you again to Robert (Assistant Manager at Sutton Coldfield) and Michelle who were both extremely pleasant and helpful.

Excellent customer servicr


I purchased a three seater sofa today and was assisted by Okiyah in this matter. She was extremely friendly, very professional and knowledgeable about the item I was buying. All questions were answered clearly and she dealt with a technical issue in a patient and efficient way albeit a situation totally outside her control. She ensured the matter was sorted, confirming with the finance company that all the information they held was accurate and made a bumpy situation run as smoothly as possible. Many thanks Okiyah. Unreservedly recommend Harvey Norman’s customer service.

First Visit

We went in to Harvey Norman to have a look around and buy a fan. We left after buying a new chair and sofa!! Dee looked after us, he is a lovely guy, very knowledgeable and professional, no pushy at all. We would definitely recommend a visit even if it’s just to have a look around. The store is a great addition to Sutton Coldfield.

This is the first time i have heard of…

This is the first time i have heard of Harvey Norman, so was a bit hesitant when placing the order but i’m glad i did. My order got shipped out the next day and was delivered within a few days by DPD, i received an email and text to say when it will be delivered. Great service from start to finish.

Emily has been fantastic very attentive not pushy or over selling. She allowed us to look around in peace and then advised us of our options. She even allowed us to go outside with the colour book to see the colours properly. She is so friendly and has good knowledge of the items in store.
